Little does he know that Britt’s passion for fun masks a need to care for others that rivals his own. Chris is about to enter the Fun Zone. Because sometimes even a superhero can’t help but fall in love. Now's your chance to fall in love with Chris Evans, too--six different times!

First of all, I have to say how much I love the premise for this Finding Chris Evans series. The prequel, the Fortune Teller set the tone by telling us how Ellie's trip to the fortune teller sent her off on the adventure of finding Chris Evans, the love of her life. And after reading Erin Nicholas's contribution to this series, the 911 Edition, all I can say is I can't wait to read the other books!

Ellie could see right away that the first Chris Evans, the EMT on her list, couldn't possibly be the love of her life when he's clearly lost his heart to another woman even if he hasn't realized that himself.

Brittney, the woman in question is equally smitten with her boss, whose heart and dedication to his job as an EMT has earned him the nickname Captain America. The sexual tension between the two of them has been a problem in their working relationship from the start, not that either of them has admitted it to themselves or each other. That all changes when Brittney's injured on the job and Chris steps up to help her. Once they get their relationship away from that professional setting to a much more personal level there's no denying the attraction between them. Attraction, admiration, respect, and lust, that's been growing between them since the day they started working together.

There's no other way to say this than these two were hot together! They might be opposites in so many ways, but what they have in common is a kind and generous heart dedicated to serving others. I loved this fun, light-hearted and very sexy story! 4.5 stars

One of my reading goals this year was to try and clear some of the older books off my Kindle and I decided to try and clear the whole Finding Chris Evans series - I have one left. The 911 Edition has Ellie tracking down this Chris Evans after seeing him in the newspaper as "Captain America" in a local coffee shop next to the hospital. Chris Evans is a Paramedic Chief. The day Ellie runs into him is the moment he realizes he is in love with Britt - one of the fellow female paramedics. As Ellie and Chris chat in the coffee shop, a guy who has a knife wound comes stumbling into the shop. We learn he has come from the bar down the road and when Chris realizes he dashes like his superhero nickname to save Britt. Britt, of course, doesn't need saving, she is more than capable of doing her job and she is one strong tough cookie. When Britt realizes her thumb is broken and the timing sucks as it's her mother's birthday and, in her household, every occasion is worth celebrating as Britt's mother is Queen of the "Fun Zone". She ropes Chris into helping her and then playing her fake boyfriend, but can Chris prove to Britt that he "really" likes her and wants more? Will this workplace romance succeed or are the pair of them both too stubborn to allow love to blossom? Find out in Finding Chris Evans by Erin Nicholas - the 911 Edition.

I love the premises of this series and I can't wait to meet each and every Chris this small town has to offer! While you don't have to read the prequel to enjoy this story, I recommend you do so you understand the overall premise of the series.

On her quest to meet her one true love, Ellie Mittelstadt sets up her date with the first Chris Evans. He is a paramedic in their small town. It doesn't take long for Ellie to realize this probably isn't her Chris Evans. So her search will continue but for this Chris, Ellie is sure he just needs to open his eyes and realize he's already found the woman he loves.

Britt McNemera is one of the paramedics that works on Chris' team. He claims she drives him crazy. She doesn't always follow the rules and doesn't use as much caution as Chris feels she should. When she rushes into a volatile situation and comes out with a minor injury Chris volunteers to be her helper while she's on shift. Spending some extra time with her shows Chris that all the things about her that drive him crazy he actually really kind of likes....a lot!!

This is definitely a recommended read from me.

What time is it? Time for another Erin Nicholas review! :)

This book is a short, but good one. Now, the premise of this whole series is one woman, Ellie, was told by a fortune teller that she will find her true love whose name is Chris Evans...and there are six of them!

In comes our first Chris Evans. Ellie quickly figures out he's not the one for her. So the story takes over with him and Brittney. Can I say how much I loved Britt? She was such a free spirit and I loved how she loosened Chris up. He seemed a little high strung.

The chemistry was popping from these two. After Britt hurt herself, I liked how Chris immediately stepped up and offered to help. He may be the strong silent type, at least to her when he wasn't lecturing her, but he has this incredibly sweet side. And Britt? I could see her being one of my good friends. Erin has this way with writing female characters that you will instantaneously love!

I cannot wait to read the rest in this series. If it's anything like this one and the prequel, they will be fantastic!

This was a fun, quick, sexy read. At times, it felt a little too quick but with a novella that's to be expected. I liked how Ellie tied into this book, too. It really added to the overall idea of the series and was an element that worked really well.

Unfortunately, I won't be continuing with this series. I love the premise and I think it's fun and original, but the cost ($AU 24) for 6 novellas is prohibitive. Each novella is 100 pages or less, and I can't justify spending that much money over such a short period of time for such short books. I completely support authors and I know that a lot of time, money, and work goes into publishing (I am very well versed on this, in fact) but still, that is the deciding factor in this instance.

13/10/16
I decided to order the final book in this series and also the rockstar edition (that had a plot I can't resist). I'm still a bit disappointed I can't read the series in its entirety but my issues regarding cost still stand.

The concept behind this initially intrigued me.
It was cute, for an afternoon read while waiting at the doctor's office, but that's about it.
The story started okay but turned out to be a bit cliché in a couple of places, a bit fast paced in others but overall it was passable. The characters had layers to them, were convincing enough and I did grow to care for them a little bit.
It did bother me how bossy the male protagonist was and the vague Christian Grey vibes. Chillax, dude, honestly.
What elste bothered me was how the premises given by the prequel just went out the window in the very first chapter, making us forget completely (for the rest of the book) about the actual girl that is supposed to connect the 5 stories this series promises. This books didn't even offer a parallel moment or chapter (at least at the end) where the reader would know where she is now and how we'll proceed our journey with her, the actual centre of the story.

*Side note:
I've already read the first 3 chapters of the next book, out of curiosity.
It doesn't continue well. At all. It falls into a big cliché and it seems written by an amateur. And our Prequel girl, the one that connects the dots of this series, gets a moment where we are shown a bit of who she is inside and she seems good, worth reading on just to see what She's all about.
I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, because I know someone worked at this and probably put some effort, but it wasn't my cup of tea.
Have fun if you're reading this series and don't let my review dampen your enthusiasm for it. Somewhere out there, I'm sure, there is an audience for this kind of book/series. It just wasn't me.

Ellie goes to a fortune teller and learns she will find love with someone named Chris Evans. The only problem is there are 6 Chris Evans’ in her general vicinity. She must do some old fashion detective work to find her soul mate.

Read each entry in the series to see how each Chris Evans works out for Ellie. Don’t forget to start with the prequel, Finding Chris Evans:The Fortune Teller edition by Elizabeth Bemis.

Really cute concept. Ellie visits a fortune teller who tells her that she will fall in love with Chris Evans. The problem is that there are 6 Chris Evans for Ellie to weed through. Ellie meets Chris, an EMT, who is hung up on his fellow EMT Britt. So while Ellie makes an appearance in the book, it’s really Chris and Britt’s story.

The only negative for me is that they start their relationship while Chris is Britt’s boss. Have never been a big fan of the boss/subordinate relationship.

Virtually no angst toward their HEA.

This is the first Chris Evans Ellie encounters. I like how much she can see after their short interaction. Brittney is fearless which scares Chris.

This is the first full novella in the Finding Chris Evans series - by various authors. This installment was written by Erin Nicholas. It can most certainly be read as a standalone. In the prequel we were introduced to Ellie she has had her fortune told and was told she would find true love with someone named Chris Evans. Well - there are 6 Chris Evans' in this small Minnesota town.

In The 911 Edition we meet the first Chris Evans and Brittney McNemara. This Chris is an EMT and when Ellie meets him in a coffee shop she quickly realizes that this isn't her Chris and points him in the direction of his heart. Brittney, she is an EMT that works for Chris and most days they are the bane of each other's existence.

This is a quick fun read. The characters are interesting and the story will keep you entertained and smiling. I look forward to reading about the next Chris, and glad that I only have to wait till the end of the week. What a wonderful concept this team of authors has come up with. Introducing the novellas at the beginning and end of the week.

First Thing- Go Read The Short Novella
Finding Chris Evans: The Fortune Teller Edition: A Free Prequel
It gives you the back story where each of the Chris Evans novels starts off.
Ellie Middlestat is searching for her True Love. Esmerelda the Fortune Teller claims that is is a man named Chris Evans. Only problem there are SIX
In Chris Evans: The 9-1-1 Edition by Erin Nicholas, we meet Chris Evans the paramedic. He is a no nonsense, by the book type of guy. He works with Brittney McNemara who drives him nuts. She is impulsive, and crazy and he is obsessed with her. Both of them would rather be attracted to anyone else but after Britt's injury they are going to be stuck together for the weekend so Chris can come to her rescue.
I loved their chemistry and they are totally the pair that prove the old adage "Opposites attract!" This is a quick, wonderful and beautifully dirty book! While Ellie didn't find her Captain America, Brittney certainly did! I can't wait to read the five other Chris Evans novellas to fins out who Ellie does fall for!

I love this concept for a series... six men all named Chris Evans live in the same town in Minnesota and only one of them is the love match for Ellie Mittlestadt. Six authors have teamed up to write this series and I can't wait to read all the books.

Ellie is sent on a mission by a psychic who is trying to find a love match for her nephew whose name is Chris Evans. Ellie knows nothing more about him than his name. So when she discovers there are 6 of them in their small town, she is a bit perplexed.

The first Chris she meets is an EMT (who is known as Captain America.. you will have to read the book to find out why!) and she is attracted to him.. but soon figures out that he is in love with his co-worker Britt. He just does not realize it yet! So Ellie moves on..

Britt is a bit reckless and carefree while Chris is by the book and very focused. In spite of their differences, there is a definite chemistry. Chris agrees to be her "boyfriend" for the weekend (just to appease her family) and they soon discover there is more to their relationship than their mutual jobs.

This is a short book full of sexy fun that is typical of Erin Nicholas and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to meeting the other 5 Chris Evans!

Finding Chris Evans is a fun new series of stories by a great group of authors following Ellie's quest to find the man a psychic told her was the one for her, Chris Evans. Who knew there would be so many of them? Unfortunately the Chris in this story and Ellie aren't a match, but Chris Evans EMT and his coworker Britt McNamara are a pair made for each other. Their intense chemistry and undeniable feelings prove they can't work comfortably together but the pair will find a way to make a relationship work. Sweet and sexy, a great read by the fabulous Erin Nicholas. Looking forward to reading the others in this series.

Britt is a feisty, spunky EMT. Chris is her uptight boss. Chris is always coming down hard on Britt. When Britt gets injured and needs help, Chris steps up. As they spend more time together on a personal level, they find that they are both feeling the same. This was a fun read, and I loved the chemistry between Britt and Chris. I love a book that makes me laugh out loud and this one did. A great story!

What would you do if a fortune teller told you your destiny was to fall in love with Chris Evans? You’d find Chris Evans, of course. This fun inventive series begins with the 911 Edition by Erin Nicholas. This Chris Evans is an EMT and totally in love with his coworker. Our girl makes only a brief appearance at the very beginning to launch the story. The story moves quickly, the HEA aided by an existing friendship. A fun, VERY quick, read I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the first Chris.

Excellent start to a new series. Finding Chris Evans is going to be so much fun if the rest of the books are as fun as the starter. Ellie sets the events into motion by visiting a fortune teller. The fortune teller tells her that she will find the love of her life named Chris Evans. Ellie did some research to find that there are 6 Chris Evans in her small town. So, she sets out to find each and every one in hopes of the fortune tellers fortune coming true. Enter Chris Evans #1...an EMT. Ellie sets it up so she can meet him. Meeting this Chris shows her that he isn't the one. She realizes right away that he is madly in love with one of his crew when Britt is in trouble on a scene and Chris runs out to help her. Good guy with a heart of gold, Chris offers his help when Britt gets hurt on a call. What happens next is plenty of laughs and MANY steamy scenes. I absolutely loved this story. And I cannot wait for the others in the series to come out. If you plan on reading this, read the prequel first. It sets up the rest of the stories. Another hit series!!! One you won't want to miss.

In the 9-1-1 edition we meet the first Chris Evans also known to the Town's people as Captain America! I really enjoyed this short novella about two work colleagues that get on each other's nerves and consider each other a pain in the behind, but can't fight the desire they feel for each other. For all the Erin Nicholas lovers out there don't worry the novella includes some fun with frosting!

I think that the idea of having several authors collaborate on a series about finding Mr Right also known as Chris Evans is a cute idea and I can't wait to read the other author's story lines. The prequel and how that all started is available for free, Finding Chris Evans:The fortune Teller Edition. Finding Chris Evans: The Fortune Teller Edition: a Free Prequel
