This is a interesting, suspenseful, exciting Sci-Fi thriller. As You can read you will notice that Sci-Fi genre seems to have become very popular with the world as books, authors, video games and movies all want a part of Sci-Fi romance and this storyline is fascinating. This is a unique storyline that will captivates the reader’s attention. The characters are great; the dialogue makes the story more captivating. I couldn't help but to turn the pages till the next chapter was done. I really liked the introductions to the characters in this book as it made it easier to relate to them. I really enjoyed this story. While you read this romance you're find so much to enjoy because every chapter is interesting and you will never be bored while reading this. The main and secondary characters are highly developed and you can feel their love both. I Highly Recommended this to other readers who are in love with Sci-Fi romance. You will surely enjoy this one.
I found Ashley L. Hunt storylines to be always exciting and entertaining, with this one there is more suspense, intrigue and just the right amount of sensual scenes to make it scorching hot. Ashley is a talented and gifted writer. There are some twists and turns in this storyline. You don't want to miss this book! If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you're a fan of Sci-Fi, suspense, action and humor, this is perfect for you. Pros: I read this book in a single sitting because I couldn't put it down. Huge kudos to the author for her fantastic imagination. From the Bullet to the AI, every detail is wonderfully creative. I thought the flow of the story and the amount of description were just right.
Cons: This ends in a cliffhanger, requiring the next book to find out what happens. I would have preferred one larger volume, but that's just me.

I downloaded Alien Former as a free novel from Amazon. This review is an adjusted rating, based on the author uploading the correct version of the story (I had originally read an unedited proof). Alien Former is the first installment of a serial; the reader gets the first six chapters of a larger story-- the last chapter, of which, ends in the middle of the action. The base story is excellent, with a unique and interesting concept of a lone space[wo]men shot into space to terraform specific planets in advance of a larger ships coming 5-10 years later to occupy the planet. An unexpected, intelligent species is already inhabiting the planet which adds challenges to the mission. I’m not a fan of serials and would prefer to read the whole collection of installments in the full book and will look for a box set (hopefully at a reasonable price).

Joanna grabbed hold of Rome and took me along on an amazing adventure
This story ends in a manner that makes me grateful I decided to wait until the entire series was available before I started reading. With that warning said, this is a great adventure, and a fantastic story. I want an AI like Barbas, I can't wait to find out how Chalice Colony unfolds, and I'm intrigued by the unexpected neighbors.

This is in my opinion the best series that MS. Hunt has written yet. Each series she writes gets better and better. She has such unique ideas and mixes fantasy with straight sci-fi. Through in the romance and the balance is just right. If she keeps writing this well, I'm gonna be one of those fans camping on her word processor! If you love SE Smith, Vi Voxly, or Evangeline Anderson then Ashley Hunt is perfect for you.

Short installments that are worthwhile with kindle unlimited. Really fun premise and some cool worldbuilding. Less cheesy than the cover makes it look.
