Just a nice story of a lot of people going through different life trials, from the bride-to-be whose wedding plans implode on the eve of the wedding, to a champion fiddler whose MS renders him unable to play anymore. Set in Rockport, Massachusetts during one summer, it evokes the location without going overboard, so if you're familiar with the town, you'll recognize some of the settings. The many intertwining stories reminded me of Maeve Binchey's books - lots of characters in a small town, intersecting in many different ways. The only complaint I have is that the book ended very abruptly; so although it's a happy ending, I think it would have been more graceful if there had been a bit more to the conclusion.
