Johnathan Gregor Wraith was the oldest natural born son of Sasha and Robert Wraith. He was the son of heroes and brother to another heroine. He was born into fame and a fortune the likes of which had never existed. That was his problem.
His success with the women he had dated was zero. When they learned who he was, they either worshiped him like a minor deity, were afraid of him to the point of groveling, or they saw nothing but money.
Johnny had another problem. He was about to embark on a journey which could last up to ten years. He was a civilian member of the crew for the ANS Louis and Clark. They were going to be the first crew to travel to another galaxy. Johnny would have no companion on this trip. He was going to be alone.
Sonja Jynnai Legassi was a special agent for Admiral Vanzant. She had been sent to Johnny to help him pick his crew. The pain in his eyes cut deep into his soul. Sonja could feel it.
