I don't know about this one... it was kind of weird. I think it was about reincarnation. I was into the story, and then the girl dies (I think) and turns into a bird. Very odd.

I received this copy in a giveaway.

I really enjoyed this story, "Brenna's Wing", by WB Welch. The author captured the emotions of the main character very well, in describing and depicting her grief over the loss of her mother. Interesting and touching ending. I liked and could relate to the main character's love for animals. I received this book as a Goodreads giveaway, in exchange for my review/thoughts. Thank you for an interesting, well-written read, WB. I hope to see more stories by you.

This was short and sweet. Its about a young female that losses her mom and than transforms into a bird to fly free as she wishes. Heart strings pulled but than it turns into fantasy. Would recommend for a short read.

The book was well written but had an unusual ending reminding me of the Twilight Zone movies.

Imaginative

This author has penned a story that I could not have imagined Made me pause to consider my own life experience and how things would turn out for me given Brenna's circumstances. It will give you pause as well.

Wow, I don't think I've ever felt so much emotion from a character like I did with Brenna. This was a very short book, it wasn't even a hundred pages long so I was highly impressed that the author was able to pack it full of emotion the way that they did.

Even though the book was short there was enough detail to make me feel like I was sitting in the hot car singing along with Brenna. I felt like I was in every situation with her. When her heart broke I think a piece of my heart broke too. I felt so bad for her at one part.

The ending was nice, though. I was glad that Brenna finally felt what it was like to feel completely free.

A great short book. The character of Brenna starts a little dull, but gets interesting as the book goes on. The mood is sort of dark and depressing, making the ending a bit of a sudden tonal shift. But, all in all an enjoyable read.

This story was so well written and was beautifully made. The main character came to life and made you feel what she was feeling. I have to say this is probably one of my new favorite books, and I hope I get to read more from this author. I highly recommend you pick up this book and read it.
