Hadley

After one steamy summer together Ravi and Hadley are at odds because they just can't seem to agree on the direction to take their relationship. Hadley wants it all, while Ravi just wants to make sure his best friend, Chase, never finds out what happened between the two of them. Ever had a book that made you so giddy and happy inside. Ever had a book that made you feel like you are floating in a cloud and simply get lost in a sky filled with clouds. Well, Hard to Resist by K.M. Neuhold made me feel like that throughout reading it. I was so excited reading this book that it just simply clicked you know. I felt so comfortable. Hard to Resist was simply a fantastic read that I could not get enough of.

Hard to Resist is the story of Ravi and Hadley who we meet in Naughty Angel. Hadley has been in love with Ravi for a long time. Ravi has had feelings for Hadley but will not reciprocate them due to Hadley's brother, Chase. Hard to Resist was an amazing read. It was emotional, sexy and with the right dose of angst that pulled me to the story. K.M. Neuhold truly outdid herself with this story. She gave us a plot that was so mesmerizing and captivating that my eyes were simply glued to the book. She just keeps getting better and better. I am just in awe of her writing and just becoming a fan of her. I just feel so giddy when I read her and the sexy nerdy boys have just become the series I just adore. Of course I swoon a lot because c'mon it is sexy to be a Nerd. I am just saying that because I am kind of a nerd lol. Nerd are cool. Ok, back to my awesome review of this amazing masterpiece. Hard to Resist was amazing to read because it was different from all other books in the series. It was sexier. It had some red hot action seeping from the pages. It had some forbidden romance going on that had me so intrigued and my eyes glued. We all love some forbidden romance. It is sexy. Lol.

I loved the characters. K. M. Neuhold always makes it interesting and comfortable because she always gives us a look into all the characters in the previous books and what they up to. Its like when you are coming home and she nails this all the time. That is why her characters are awesome. You feel comfortable because you get to know a lot more about the character before and after and thus making this book and her other books captivating. Hadley was an awesome heroine. I loved her caring and loving nature. She showed her vulnerability at the right time. Ravi, oh sweet, sexy and hot Ravi, I loved him. He is the guy to be friends with. He is loyal. I loved that he cared about his friends. Plus he is Indian and you know, Indian guys are hot lol. He was swoon worthy and found myself fanning myself lol.

Hard to Resist was a sexy and amazing read. I am so happy that I gave her a chance on her books because I am now the biggest fan of her writing and her books. I can't wait for Chase's books. It is going to be an awesome ride.

Alright, I'll say right off the bat that HARD TO RESIST just didn't work for me and I skimmed large portions of it because the drama was just too much! While I felt that Hadley and Ravi were certainly acting their ages, that level of immaturity is just not something I can enjoy anymore now that I'm older. I'm disappointed this didn't work out because I really liked the previous books in the series but HARD TO RESIST and in particular the MCs, didn't have the charm that was so great about the earlier books.

Both Hadley and Ravi are childish, petty, and they treat everyone else like crap. Ravi in particular is a huge dick for the way he used and discarded women in his first year away at NYU. I have nothing against characters having one night stands, and in fact both of them do after their summer fling, but at least treat the other person with a modicum of respect! I might have found Chase's overprotective brother act annoying but he was justified in worrying that Ravi would be terrible for Hadley based on what he saw as Ravi's roommate.

Early on in the book both Hadley and Ravi find themselves in fake relationships that the other thinks is real: Hadley to make Ravi jealous and Ravi to make his mother happy after a setup, however, that doesn't stop them from making out and having sex with each other. As far as they each knew, the other was in a serious relationship. Maybe it's just me but I wouldn't be happy knowing the person I loved was cheating on someone else in order to be with me and then they were immediately regretting it after. It took so much work for these two to get out of their own way. At first Ravi was the issue and just when he started to get it together and tell Hadley how he felt, she turned around and started getting weird about everything. The best way to describe this relationship was dramatic and exhausting.

So anyway not for me. I do plan to read the next book as it's the last in the series and I loved Matthew as a side character in this one so I'm excited to get his book.

Hard To Resist was different from all other books in the series, wasn't as nerdy but there was a lot, and I mean a LOT, of more sex in it than the previous ones.

Hadly was great! Brave, confident and not caring what others thought of her. She was different from most NA heroines and fun to read about. I had to trouble to like Ravi and I didn't fall in love with him as a hero. Hadly's main reason to be involved with him is because they get along each other very well, know each other for a long time and have great sexual chemistry. I couldn't connect with him.

They were both pretty immature, most of their problems were caused by miscommunication, which I don't tend to like. It made me feel like sometimes the story was going in circles and not getting anywhere, but eventually it had to move forward (and it did), and I liked the events towards the ending.

To clarify, I'm still a huge fan of the friends to lovers trope. I enjoyed reading Hard To Resist and will continue to read this series, really excited about Chase's book next!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Sweet and Sexy cover, couple in intimate pose. Forbidden / best friend's sibling trope. Good synopsis.

Alternating first-person POVs.
WOW, Ravi and Hadley are sexy hot! I really enjoyed this story and think it just might be the best of the series so far!
Ravi is an American-born Indian, raised by rather traditional Indian-born parents in a very Caucasian American town. He's expected to become a doctor, although he does not share that dream even a little. They want him to find a nice Indian girl, but he's already found the girl for him.
Chase and Hadley are twins. They befriended Ravi back in kindergarten and have been the three musketeers ever since. Hadley crushed on Ravi all through her teen years, but a stern warning from overly-protective Chase kept Ravi away.
OMG - the chemistry between these two smoldered every time they were within sight of each other and sparked a raging inferno once they were close enough to share breathing space! Their relationship was not without its share of obstacles and hurdles though. The entertainment value of Hadley dating Matthew and Ravi seeing Kashi was worthy of several out-loud laughs - and I could not help but wonder - on several accounts why the heck they never locked their front door!
Secondary characters included previous cast members continuing their stories in the background and some newbies with hints of possible stories to come. Dialogue was flawless, interaction was believable. The plot was very strong, it was dynamic, had depth, and there was several dimensions layered and seamlessly sewn into a fantastic read that flowed like warm honey.
There are a few minor plot elements that were left hanging loosely, but one can assume those will continue into the following books in the series. I was mildly disappointed in the Epilogue not having a stronger finish for our lead couple (and lack of update on the kitten), but was pleased with the lead-in peek to the next story.
Overall, I truly recommend this series, but I'd suggest they be read in order since the group are rather tightly knit. I look forward to reading the next books (yes, plural) in the series and thank Ms. Neuhold for the opportunity to read her work.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

As soon as I picked up the first book in the Sexy Nerdy Boys series, Worth The Wait, I knew that K. M. Neuhold was going to become a favorite must read author. With each book, I have fallen deeper under her spell and can no longer be saved. I am addicted and I have to read every book that she writes. She knows how to capture the college vibe and give her readers some over the top hotties with a flair for anything of the geeky persuasion. Numbers, astrological charts, and sci-fi have never been so sexy! K. M. Neuhold makes her books HARD TO RESIST for all the right reasons and Ravi and Hadley's story isn't any less hypnotic and is thrumming with sexual tension like all the other sexy nerdy boys.

Hadley Parker has made a name for herself since she has journeyed to college and ALL the boys know who she is. She may have given her body to any guy available but her heart has been forever Ravi's, whether he wants it or not. If only he hadn't chosen her brother's friendship over whatever they could have had. When her twin brother and Ravi come and visit for the summer, she can't deny that he is still her “one and only”. Hadley captured my heart in Naughty Angel when she was Eve's roommate. I knew then that the wild and promiscuous Hadley was a disguise for a shattered heart. She soon had me transfixed with her turbulent feelings towards Ravi and turning each page quickly craving the heat between her and Ravi searching for their happy ever after.

Ravi Gangi went to New York this year to escape his feelings for his best friends little sister. He quickly realized that “out of sight out of mind” did not work with the gorgeous youngest Parker. Now he has to make it through a summer living with Hadley and Chase's do not touch warning playing in his head. Can he survive the summer without giving into reliving their past together? I fell for not only Ravi's good looks but his kind heart and his tug of war between his friendship with Chase and his uncontrollable desire and love for Hadley. My heart was wrapped up in him from the beginning and I became totally immersed and completely his.

K.M. Neuhold delivers another hot read with it's own “nerdy” flavor that leaves us panting and with a love for even more characters in the Sexy Nerdy Boys series. I highly recommend Hard To Resist for a fun, steamy adventure into the college life. K. M. Neuhold has an uncanny talent for building sexual tension and creating funny, down to earth characters that will keep you coming back for more. Who knew that underneath those t-shirts with nerdy slogans could be so many delicious muscles to drool on and incredible hearts.

Reviewing on behalf of Triple B's Book Blog.

Having read the previous books in the Sexy Nerd Boys series I kinda guessed I was going to love this one too.
Man was I right! I freaking LOVED it! <3
There is just something about a forbidden love story that gets me every time.
Ravi has been best friends with both Chase and his twin sister Hadley since kindergarten, they did everything together and couldn't have been closer until suddenly Ravi wasn't looking at Hadley as just a friend. He wants more but unfortunately for him Chase has forbidden him to lay a finger on her.
He doesn't want to risk his freindship with Chase or Hadley for that matter so tries to put his feelings aside.
Hadley unknown to Ravi has been in love with him since she was 16. On her 18th birthday and before going off to college she decides that she wants to loose her virginity.....to Ravi.
So she sets about seducing him. She's detrimined to get what she wants.....the trouble is things don't always go the way you want.
Hadley goes off to college after giving Ravi her virginity. She ends up getting quite the name for herself with the boys...they all know who Hadley Parker is!
Ravi went off to New York with Chase but despite his best efforts can't forget the best night of his life. If only Hadley wasn't Chase's sister!
The fates seem to have a plan and they end up having to live together. Things get a whole lot more complicated!
A totally hot and steamy summer follows but they can't agree on what/where their relationship should go. Hadley wants them to make a go of it but all Ravi can think is that Chase must never find out about what happened.
Hadley is a fabulously fiesty, kick ass woman. Ravi is a seriously hot nerd with a big heart.
Hard To Resist has forbidden love, true friendship, heart soaring romance, stomach dropping angst, panty melting, scorchingly hot sex and laugh out loud moments.
I'm looking forward to more from this series.
Each book can be read as a standalone although it does give the stories a different level of depth if you've read them all.....and let's face it who doesn't want to read about Sexy Nerds!
Congratulations to K M Neuhold on another great book.

I can't seem top get enough of these Sexy Nerd Boys!
The first hing that stood out to me in this volume of the series was that Ms. Neuhold put a different twist on this book. Ravi is not your typical rocket scientist nerd boy like the others, however he is just as smart and sexy. She also took us down a different path with a story of forbidden love. Hadley, her twin brother Chase and Ravi were always best friends growing up. As they got older, Ravi started seeing Hadley in a different way, but could never act on those feelings because Chase had a strict "hands off my sister" rule. Hadley wanted nothing more than to be more than just friends with Ravi, but her well-meaning overprotective brother always seemed to get in the way. When a twist of fate causes Chase to bring them together as roommates, will their feelings for each other be too hard to resist?
I absolutely love Ms. Neuhold's writing. The characters she has created in this series are real people with real feelings and real problems. They are not the over the top characters that are hard to connect to. They could be your friends or neighbors. Each book in this series focuses on a different couple, but the characters overlap and are a part of each book. It makes it seem like their stories never end, because you get to catch up with them later. Although each book can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading this series from the beginning to enhance the experience. This series, especially Hard to Resist, is a fun lighthearted happy read with a hea that will make your heart smile.
I can't wait to read Chase's story in the next Sexy Nerd Boys book.

HARD TO RESIST BY: K.M. NEUHOLD Hard to Resist was full of steamy nerdiness! What I really liked about this addition was that Ravi and Hadley were first and foremost best friends. I love a good friends to more romance story. Sparks were definitely flying when these two got together. I quite enjoyed the sweet moments too, where it really came through just how well they knew each other and how much they thought of one another.

I wasn’t always impressed with how Ravi handled things with Hadley, or most people in his life. I get that he didn’t want to hurt anyone, but by lying and sneaking it was inevitable that someone was going to get hurt. In the end though, I think he hurt himself more than anyone else, so it was hard to stay mad with him. And after he wrote Hadley that sexy story, I was like where can I find my own Ravi?!

I enjoyed the whole dynamic between Hadley, her brother and Ravi. It was sweet how close they all were. I am curious to see more of Chase too. I kept finding myself wondering what he was off doing each time he disappeared. Ohhh and PLEASE tell me there will be a book for Mathew because he is my new favorite! I need for him to find someone super nerdy and awesome too! All in all it was a good addition to the series and I look forward to seeing what comes next!

Hard To Resist (Sexy Nerd Boys #3) by K M Neuhold.

This review is made on behalf of CLiK Book Blog - http://clikbookblog.wix.com/clikbb.

After reading this ARC, I am now even more convinced that K M Neuhold has cemented her place in my top 10 list if must have authors.

This Sexy Nerd Boys Series us brilliant in its simplicity and honesty but each story is woven with the next, creating an entire world that the reader can reside in.

Hard To Resist us the story of Ravi and Hadley.
Ravi is your typical American raised Indian boy. An only child, whose parents have big dreams and high expectations for. Ravi doesn't want to be a doctor, his passion is in writing sci-fi.

Hadley and her twin brother Chase have been inseparable their whole lives, but Ravi is like their brother, taken under Chase's wing when they were just kids. They are an awesome trio, knowing each other as intimately as siblings could but both Hadley and Ravi harbour a desire for one another that Chase has made abundantly clear, will never happen.

Every character in this series is written exquisitely, baring their soul to the reader but I think this story of forbidden love and true friendship is my favourite in the series.

Bravo, Kyleen. Fabulously written and crafted with such love. It's easy to fall hard for not only Ravi, Hadley and Chase , but the whole Sexy Nerd Boys cast of characters.

Oh, man, I hate that I didn't love this one. I adore this series & the previous books. Unfortunately, this one didn't work for me. Hadley & Ravi just really annoyed me. Part of it is because we see them both with multiple other ppl, and that just never works for me. As background, yes - I don't expect the H/h to always only have been with each other. But I don't like reading the details of them with other ppl. It messes with my ability to feel their connection to each other.

I was also not a fan of Chase. His book is next, & it looks like it is also going to have him with someone other than the love interest... sigh. Just not the storyline for me!!

What I DID really like:
We get to see the gang & catch up & I love the direction those couples went. : )
Once Hadley & Ravi get their crap together, I finally felt like they really loved each other, & at that point I was rooting for them & liked thei sweetness toward each other.

So, I can't say this is my favorite in the series, but if you don't have the same issue with other ppl in the story while the H/h get their crap together, then I think you'll enjoy the story more than I did! : )

Hard to Resist by K.M Neuhold is the 3rd novel in the Sexy Nerd Boys Series. This is a series of interconnected standalones.

Ravi, Chase, and Hadley have been best friends for as long as they can remember. They just know their dynamic will never change. Well until it does.

Hadley has known since they were younger that Ravi was no longer the second brother in her life and up until graduation she had never treated him as anything but.

Ravi can't help but notice that Hadley is Definitely a girl, but Chases warning at age 15 sets up and won't leave his mind. But graduation is here and he's about to go to NYU with Chase.

A year later Hadley would never have believed herself to be living in the same apartment as Ravi, but when Ravi's mom got sick Ravi came home. Even though Hadley has had a year to get used to not being with Ravi, every thing comes to a head sooner than either of those two can imagine.

With a couple new characters introduced into the fold I can not wait to see where K.M takes it next because this is a hell of a series!

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

You looking for some seriously hot sexy nerdy fun that will have you giggling AND sighing happily? Then look no further with K.M Nehold's Hard To Resist, the third book in her Sexy Nerd Boys series. Each story gets better and better and Ravi and Hadley just had a chemistry that was beyond sizzling. I loved the fun, the nerdy sexy talk and the passion...my god, the passion is something that will just please any avid romance reader.

K.M. Neuhold won me over with this series from book one. I never imagined I would fall for Nerdy Boys, but with the way Miss Neuhold created them, she made me want my very own Sexy nerdy boy. But to me, these aren't just boys..but outstanding men!

Hard To Resist gets a WICKEDLY NERDY FIVE SHOOTING STARS! From cover to cover, this book will please, delight and the banter will leave you both smiling and giggling. I can hardly wait to see what is next!

If you like sexy nerdy heroes like I do you must give this one a read. I highly recommend this series because I just love every book so far. This book had a added bonus of being a friends to lovers story. Which is my favorite troupe. Hadley and Ravi have strong feelings for one another, but there are a lot of circumstances keeping them a part. Soon fate brings these two back together can they take advantage oft he opportunity or will Ravi let it slip through his fingers once again? I feel for Ravi because he has the expectations of his parents for his future. He feels like he has no control on his life. Boy do Hadley and Ravi generate a ton of heat. There are many fan yourself moments in this one. One of favorite parts/characters in this book is the little orange kitty.

I have loved every single word of the Sexy Nerd series. This book, wasn't as nerdy, but Remy was completely wonderful. He's a man/friend that everyone would be proud to have. I love how KM blends all the books together and you continue to get little snippets of all her previous books and characters. It's what really makes series work for me. I love feeling "close" to the people and KM sure makes characters that people can relate too.

Well...hoo boy *fans self* - Hard to Resist the third book in the Sexy Nerdy Boys series ratcheted up the heat in a major way. Like, seriously - this book is hot. And the sex is plentiful. However, I sometimes felt like it was at the expense of a much deeper storyline. This book was lacking some of the heart that I loved so much about the first two books in the series. I had some trouble connecting to Ravi and Hadley - and their immaturity grated. Is this a personal problem? Likely. I find myself struggling with these books that have a much younger vibe to them lately - I don't have the patience for the conflict that's usually associated with this age group.

That said - there were some things I really did like. I enjoyed catching up with previous couples, and I loved the relationship that Ravi and Hadley wound up forming. The ending was completely satisfying - it's just that the road to that happily ever after sometimes tried my patience. I have loved this series a lot - but I feel like it's lost some of the tight storytelling and smart humor that drew me in at the beginning.

In all - I did enjoy this couple a lot. There's plenty of humor and, as I mentioned, loads of sexy times -- and even some swoons that caused my heart rate to pick up a bit. I'm definitely excited to see where this series goes from here! ~ Shelly, 3 Stars

This is the 3rd book in the Sexy Nerds Series from KM Neuhold.

This 3rd book is the story of Ravi and Hadley characters we have met in the other books in the series.

Ravi and Hadley have been best friends forever, Hadley has always had a crush on him and Ravi has had a crush on Hadley since he realized she is a girl lol, the problem is Hadley is Ravi's best friend's twin so she is off limits.

This book is simple and real and that is what gets me every time with this author's writing. The nerdiness of the book is not as much as in the first books in the series but certainly enough to keep me engaged.

If you are looking for a funny sexy romance then you have found it. Although these books can be read as standalone s it is much better to read the entire series as all the characters are intertwined within the series.

I recommend this to all romance readers who like a little steamy in their books and I look forward to the next one in this series!!

Another great book by KM Neuhold. I have enjoyed reading the Sexy Nerd Boy series. Each book gets better and better and I can't decide which "Nerd" I want more. So I guess I will just have to claim them all. Hadley and Ravi's story didn't disappoint me at all.

Hard to Resist once again was an emotion packed read.

Protective Brother...
Little Sister...
Brother's Hot Best Friend...

This can only leave to one thing...a young loves lust over her brother's friend and a friend who has been warned to stay away. Watching the relationship between Ravi and Hadley form, fall apart and then come back together was not only heart breaking but also heart warming. The relationship between Hadley, Chase and Ravi was a strong one - 3 friends who grew up together and had each other backs. But Hadley and Ravi wanted more...but we're stuck because of Chase.

Definitely pick up your copy of Hard to Resist and find out if Hadley and Ravi have their Happily Ever After!

This is a brother’s best friend romance. It took a bit for me to get into the book because in the beginning I had a hard time connecting with the characters. I think maybe that was very much due to their age. There is a lot of chemistry between Hadley and Ravi and a lot of push and pull between them. It seems everyone is keeping a secret from someone. I really enjoyed Matthew’s role as Hadley’s best friend.
This book is a standalone, but I think if you read it you are going to want to go back and start the series from the beginning to get to know the side characters. Each couple’s book is unique and they are all very good and well written. I will be looking forward to the next book in this series.
