Update below:

Well, I saw my sis-in-law knitting as she often does.. this was a little 3D pineapple. Then she showed me the rest of the book that my other sister-in-law had gotten her; as a gift I guess. Ah, British humor.
I get most of it and I actually laugh except the filthy kind. That I’m often lost or just grossed out. Anyway -
They were kinda cute and all the stuff you can make with them is punny. It was shortly after I found out that Dad died so I thought - eh- why not. It made a hard day a bit lighter.

I have learned that she has knit two little ppl. A fairy and an elf. I love the elf’s little ears. Maybe I can secure this little guy as my ornament / gift tag. So far no bits and baubles but hopefully some details w embroidery thread ...,, on the face ….. the face ppl !
There is also some really cool fruit and a mug of hot chocolate.

Have already knitted Bernard and his "prize winning cock", and am working on Barbara and her Fufu at the moment. Brilliantly inventive knitting, but I wish there were more patterns for the other characters, or even background pieces? (A follow up would be fab!)

Hilarious, best thing I ever bought my grandmother. She shocked the church craft group with this one, and now they are all laughing together. Great patterns, gran has made a few already. Bargain. You do need pipe cleaners though, so if it's for a gift, be warned to add these too
