1 main idea. Which is established at the very beginning of the book.
5 stars rating - for the lots of interesting insights and logic examples.

For example:
We don't want to fight but by Jingo if we do,
We've got the ships, we've got the men, we've got the money too.
- Nineteenth-century British music hall song

Or ideas alike:
The more laws, the less justice.
Hasty climbers have sudden falls.
The brightest blades grow dim with rust.
The way to be safe is never to feel secure.
He that serves everybody is paid by nobody.
Buying on trust is the way to pay double.
Tall trees catch much wind.
He who has the worst cause makes the most noise.
He that seeks to have many friends never has any.
Money lent to a friend must be recovered from an enemy.
What is bought is cheaper than a gift.
Trees do not grow to the sky.
Failure teaches success.
All sunshine makes the desert.
He that finds faults wants to buy.
A flatterer is a secret enemy.
The best time to buy is when the blood is running in the streets.

Also it changed my views, for example on a mortgage market. And USA & Britain today.

Tough to read. Great ideas. Even if the concept is clear from the start, there are brilliant thoughts all over the book.

The specifics are no longer relevant, but the general principles (what to think about) are still relevant.
