Well, you should be able to tell from the name of this one what IT'S about. It's about SUMMER and how the baby animals grow up. And you know what? It's all pictures, and I really really think that Mama should do a book like this one. She takes great pictures.
The best picture of all was of the big deer [caribou] walking in the grass with the mountains behind him, because you know what? The mountains had SNOW on them. In the summer! It didn't even melt! That's even colder than Vermont.
I liked the smiling yellow bird, too.
I'll take any books that are pretty with pictures of animals and mountains and snow, and this one had all three, so it's a good one!

Someday, I will visit the Alaskan wilderness for myself and get to see all the beautiful tundras, forests, etc.
