StudyWhiz: Grades 4-6

This version of StudyWhiz targets upper elementary students in Grades 4 - 6. The icons and visual space provided for the seven MindFrames are tailored to students in these transition grades.

Students in Grades 4 - 6 are expected to listen selectively, take notes, learn independently from text, compare and contrast ideas, and personally organize and discuss their ideas. StudyWhiz is designed to help students make habitual those learn-to-learn skills that increasingly will become more valuable as their schedules become more departmentalized. It shows how graphic organizers and study briefs can make learning more purposeful and efficient.

The goals of StudyWhiz are to awaken potential and build student confidence. Using this product, students learn the value of mindful thinking.
