On a cold and wintry night somewhere in New Mexico a hitchhiker stumbles into an all-night diner and a competition to see who has the best story. A Preternatural Delight!
WOW.

I'd seen this book on a couple of occasions, but haven't had the money to pick it up.
Just recently, I decided to try out Kindle Unlimited, and discovered that this was available for free through the program! SCORE!

Paul Martinez is a wonderfully creepy writer. His world intermingles with that of H.P. Lovecraft, and is spooky, gross, weird, horrible, amazing, awesome, and wonderful.

The stories here mesh together perfectly into one tale.
The pace is wonderful, and each story has a beautiful twist of preternatural delight!

I don't want to give anything away, but if you're in the mood for a quick, creepy read, Sliding Along the Watchtower is an EXCELLENT choice!!

This book was a short, wonderful read by a brand new author. It is a novella of short stories, however they all tie together with one central theme centering around a hitchhiker that wanders into a diner. It is imaginative, flows nicely and kept me wanting to know what comes next. It is a great mixture of dark, horror and sic-fi. Excited to see what else Paul Martinez has in store for us!
