Meggie is a psychic who has denied her ability for years and never realized just how good she was at tapping into her inner self. When confronted by strangers at a café, she is dragged into a situation where she must dig deep into the depths of her abilities to help Jim and Kyle battle a sexual demon. What unfolds is a triangle of sexuality and fear, as the trio must share their desires for each other to save Jim’s life—if the demon doesn’t kill Meggie first.
Demon’s Bond is the first book by Lola White that I have read; it’s the first book in a trilogy; I can pretty much guarantee that I’ll be adding the other two books to my reading queue in the very near future. It’s not very often I say this about a writer but this book displays an incredible talent for the written word. Lola White is an exceptional author who paints vivid scenes of sex and peril, and creates believable worlds and instantly likeable characters. Her descriptive voice is a joy to read, and Demon’s Bond runs easily with a well-woven plot.
Not all is perfect, however, as I found some scenes tended to drag a little and slow pace, and sometimes left me wishing the story could kick on a little so I could get to the erotic action and human drama, but this is just the quibble of one reader and may not be the case with everyone. It didn’t detract from the story, or my desire to finish the book. Danger is simmering in the background for most of the novel, until the final fight when Meggie must join sexually with Jim and Kyle to battle the demon, but the threat is always there and dramatic moments occur making this, for the most part, an exciting and engaging read.
Demon’s Bond is not an erotica novel with touches of the paranormal—it’s a paranormal novel with delicious touches of erotica, and I could not recommend it highly enough for readers who enjoy both genres.

I liked this story but it went in directions I wasn't really expecting (not in a good way) and some of the imagery dragged for me. The story jumps right in with emotions high and a flurry of psychic activity.
The sex scenes were frequent, detailed, and their necessity to the core story line was established fairly early on. I did have trouble reconciling that the main character was a powerful psychic who has managed to erect powerful shields her whole life, but is now continuously unable to control her powers.
I feel like the lore could have gone a little further before the main battle, but I get that the point was that information was limited. It just felt incomplete. The climax was left open and thus not a particularly satisfying ending. I assume there will be a follow up story on these characters.

Meggie´s always had a sixth sense, it made her childhood troublesome so she managed to block it off. Suppressing this gift makes for episodes where she sees and tells things without her wanting to, and one of these premonitions happened when she met Kyle and Jim.
Her prediction did come through, and now Jim, Kyle and their flatmate Peter, need help. And they´re ready to guilt her into this.
Horror, suspense, smutty fluff and threesome in a quick read.
It mixed the horror and the smut so I´m just a little bit stand off-ish. Oh, and the ending made you wonder if there´s a #2 coming =).
