Enrico Fermi: Pioneer of the Atomic Age, a nontechnical biography, is recommended for teenaged science or history students. It is also simple introduction for adults who wish to know more about modern science and the beginning of the nuclear age.

I plan to post a full review on my blog in a month or so and will add that link here.
