When our newborn kitty, Spirit came in 2004, I was intrigued by Donna Eden’s “The Energy Medicine Kit”. I did not dream learning the basics was easy and left it for future study. The pretty box was unopened, until our baby was 16½ and had stomach cancer in January 2021. Cats approach age 30 nowadays.

Spirit & I hurriedly tried the healing nightly, focusing on food and medication daily. The introduction I gained helped him a lot and calmed me. Spirit stayed alert and mobile, which was remarkable. We lacked the complete instructions of Donna’s 1998 book, “Energy Medicine”. I did not know how often or long to use the techniques the kit covered, thus they alleviated instead of cured.

To our sadness, our 11½ year-old Marigold needed a miracle cure too, in May 2021, from early onset kidney disease! What I learned with Spirit helped Marigold even more. I ordered Donna’s full book, knowing with all my being that I was missing additional critical details. Marigold ate independently, sunned outside as usual, jumped as high as she wanted.... In June 2021, it was as if someone vibrant suddenly got shot. A renal blood circulation issue impacted her oxygen and she just died. Four months later, I read in “Energy Medicine” the advanced steps we would have tried.

To honour what Spirit, Marigold, & I learned: I urge reading “Energy Medicine” from cover to cover. Afterwards, the kit supplements it greatly with instruction cards, a tutorial CD, and a DVD with an inspiring demonstration of Donna’s methods at work. Marigold would have turned 12 this January 7, 2022. Our first year without Spirit is January 14, 2022. We promised them we will continue all there is to learn, for the health of the rest of us and everyone we love.

To be honest, I really thought it'd be one of those silly eye roll things that reek of scam or is simply so basic and unimaginative, you wonder why you got it. I saw one video with her before delving any further in Eden's work and thought, "oh boy. She's kind of intense and crazy." But, I'm really interested in subtle energy and her name kept coming up again and again. I had to see for myself and quit making the rapid-fire snap judgment. Yeah, I admit, I was being very judgmental.

I was totally wrong. She is worth the hype, and you need to read her work to prime you for seeing her videos, which are very helpful. I highly recommend her works if you have interest in the subject at all; I feel like no matter where you are in energy studies, beginner to quantum physics expert, her work can only help.

There tends to be a certain connotation to people who enjoy learning about this field. If you're on the fence about picking this up because you're not so sure about the topic, what you're getting into, I would first recommend Richard Gerber's "Vibrational Medicine." It's densely scientific (I mean it! Scientific.) and helps ease one in to accepting learning about this field. That's if you're really skeptical. If you want to get straight into trying things and seeing if they work without NEEDING the dense scientific explanation, this gets the job done fine. It does explain, don't get me wrong, but if you're extremely skeptical I can see a skeptic not being satisfied despite her overwhelming success stories, recognition and background with her bits of explanation.

I always feel the need to be defensive when it comes to openly admitting interest in energy work. Sigh. Point: it's a great kit.

I like to approach things open-mindedly, and am interested in energy healing, since I would like for there to be things beyond the things I can see. So, since nothing this kit suggested seemed harmful, I figured I would give it a shot and see what I experienced. What I experienced, though, was nothing. While the author is very likable in the videos, the book feels like bragging, and the exercises just did not work for me. I suppose I will have a glass crystal I can put in my window for my trouble.

Great kit but I recommend further research for full benefits. I have exterminated a cold within a day and also got instant relief from tension headache. I am now a believer of Donna's method. I also have quite a few videos from the Energy Medicine program but have not yet tried to read the book. Currently trying to get into a discipline to perform the 5 minute energy routine and also to give up a habit by reprogramming behavior technique. I will update my review on the results

I've read the book. It was good. I've looked through the cards and watched part of the DVD. I really liked the DVD. It helped so much to see Donna Eden as her own self. She's delightful! And the things she shared were so unassuming and grounded. I still need to finish watching the DVD and then listen to the CD as well. All in all, this is a wonderful kit.

Introductory DVD and materials for those interested in energy medicine. Some of it I use, some of it I don't. It's time to revisit it for a refresher.

This is one of the coolest "toys" I ever bought myself. I use the "three thumps" daily. We like using the crystal for chakra balancing. Wonderful information everyone should know.
