USURP is a young adult novel based around a girl named Trina and her family. With constant turmoil surrounding her home island of Oahu, Hawaii, she faces challenges she never thought possible.
With the island overrun with mercenaries after a new and valuable fuel source, Trina and her family become slaves in what was once a beautiful place. If it weren't for her best friend and neighbor Eric, she wouldn't be able to handle her day to day life. That is until she has a premonition of a tall, dark and mysterious man and finds him much too hard to resist. She finds herself falling for a man she barely knows, but something is off about him. Curiosity can be a deadly game, but she's willing to play. How far she's willing to go is up to her.

A good read.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were fresh and came together well. It was almost like what I imagine the beginning of Hitler's regime would have been like. I hope book 2 is on the way, I would love to see how thejy bring Sebastian down.
