Sometimes, we need help to untie all the knots... Everett Millhouse is dead. Hannah Robbe is missing. The Prima Domme of Club Imperial is the Prime Suspect. Cece's worst nightmares are coming true. She can't run and she can't hide from the angry wrath of her peers. Cece and Killian find themselves being torn apart as they try to figure out why she is being framed. They'll need a little help from their friends--the ones they know and the ones they never knew they had--to untangle the web of clues. Clues that lead them through the once pristine upper class, the dark underworld of BDSM, and make them face a dangerous fact: Pittsburgh has a serial killer. *Content Warning: This book contains adult language and sexual situations, including BDSM. Armed with her Bachelors of English, Literature from Montclair State University and a pen name, Katherine Rhodes has set her mind to writing adult romances which are kinky, dirty, and fun. A lackadaisical laundry goddess, expert in the profundities of bad movies, terrible music, and awful literature, she resides in Philadelphia with her husband and two cats.
I bought this book to continue the story of Club Imperial. Killian and Paul both have claims on Cece, who has been charged with the murder of her friend Everett Milhouse. This is a love story suspense because of the horrible killing happening with no suspect besides Cece. These are strong characters but Cece has just been pushed too far and she falls apart emotionally. Will she recover ? Will Paul desert her now ? Who is doing this ?
I bought this as an ebook, all 4 were in the same digital form. Great books, great story but one issue and it's not the fault of the author, but I'm not sure who to inform. Towards the end of the last book, who ever was in charge of digitizing the books switched from her name being Saundra, which is was, to Sara. NO idea how that happens nor how it got past if anyone proof read it. I went back a few pages, thinking I missed another character but I hadn't.
This book was full of drama, suspense and a few surprises. If you read my review of Knots I told you I had some suspicions as to who was behind the killings, I was right. I usually declare it early in the book, I didn't this time because I was not sure. Katherine Rhodes does a good job of hiding things and keeps you guessing. There was a couple of other things I was right about also. Katherine Rhodes kept me turning the pages. I loved Killian and Cece they are fun. They have their issues of secrets but once that is done, love prevails. In my opinion Katherine Rhodes made the relationship and the lifestyle believable to me. The sex is hot, rough and raw. My only complaint is it takes to long for Katherine Rhodes to write the next book. If you have read the other Club Imperial Series in my opinion this is worth reading.
"Untied" (Club Imperial Book 4) by Katherine Rhodes is a fantastic read. Oh my! I loved this story! This book picks up where Knots left off. This story has passion, drama, twists and turns, suspense, interesting and entertaining characters, and so much more! I enjoyed reading more about Cece, Killian, Emmy, Nathaniel, Franz, Victor, Morgan, Nick, and all the other interesting characters we've met so far in this amazing series. This is an excellent addition to the Club Imperial Series. I can't wait to see what happens next! Highly recommend to all fans of erotic romance.
Best series I have read ever! Great story,I usually know the killer is third of book, not till almost the end.
I D Robb is the only one besides you! The sex scenes were amazing, some of the best ever. Your writing is something to be very proud off!! Thank you!! I hope this is not the last of Club Imperial!!!!!!!
