A charming counting book to read to your kids or grandkids. The cute, colorful illustrations are full of character. The lizards are very lizardy and the “four grey hippos” have some interesting guests sitting on their backs. Children can learn to count from one to twenty and enjoy the fun scenery along the way. It’s the kind of picture book kids want to read again and again. A couple of my favorite pages: “seven anteaters wearing yellow bowties” and “eleven crabs holding large red balloons” as they float up into the blue sky.

A colorful and delightful book for young children. This book is an entertaining way for children to learn to count from one to twenty, learn how to read, and a fun introduction to different animals. A must for young children. Well done!
