Mating Wars #6

Marauder Kronos

Rate this book
A brutal alien pirate steals her ship. And her heart.

When Minna makes a huge breakthrough in her research, her boss orders her to travel from Mars to Venus, but ruthless alien pirate--Captain Kronos of the Time’s End--attacks Minna’s ship. The bodyguards she hired don’t have the balls to fight a pirate ship full of brutal aliens, so they dump Minna into the cold of space to save themselves.

Kronos claims Minna for himself. He never thought he’d find a mate, let alone a human one, but one look at Minna and he knows that he’s just stolen the greatest treasure of his pirate career.

Minna finds him...frustrating? No, infuriating. He won’t let her go, not unless she works for him first and pays off her debt--as his cook. But she can’t help but keep her eyes off his bulging muscles and his mischievous, roguish grin.

As soon as she’s scrubbed enough dishes to pay her way off his ship, she’s leaving. Or will Kronos steal her heart and convince her to stay? As something much more than his cook.

Marauder Kronos is the sixth standalone book in the Mating Wars series, it features steamy sex, thrilling battles, and plenty of romance. All books in this rock-hard science fiction series can be read as standalones, there are no cliffhangers, there's no cheating, and happily ever afters are guaranteed!

This book was fun and really put a smile while reading it. When I say fun, it was humorous but not the kind of humor that would make you laugh so much.
The reason I like and enjoy this series, it's for the kind of humor and adventure.
And this one checked all and added it with the heart part. Big heart!
What missed? The female? I am still waiting for the 1st generation Seraph.
Another thing I liked about it was the time frame. No rush. But the end quite a bit? I would have love some more battles;

I snickered my way through this story, it was just so much fun to read, absolutely cute in places, hot and wonderfully exciting in others.
The thing that fascinates me the most about this series is the descriptions of the worlds, and most importantly AM's descriptions of the Marauders, the mental visual I get from them is so conflicting that it shouldn't work but it does, the ear's twitching sound so adorably cute but the rest of these fierce warriors is completely Über Alpha.
As with all of AM's works that I have read so far, she writes a truly, balls of steel heroine, every single one of these ladies are true to themselves, fight even when they don't think they will win, and consistently stand their ground. And that for me deserves no less than 5 stars.

I just finished reading Aya Morningstar's latest installment in the marauder series. Just like all of the others it doesn't disappoint. This one is a bit more tame in the love scenes. My biggest complaint is that it ended too early. I wanted to read more about the characters especially Jerky (or perhaps got more of their back stories).

This was an intriguing book with lots of little loop-de-loops. I love the idea of a space pirate with heart. I had to giggle every time I heard Kronos say that about himself. I love that there are two "romances" going on at the same time although both males are sooooooooo totally clueless! rofl This is a great read with lots of chuckles interspersed with lots of action.

SPACE PIRATES & FIERY ROMANCE

This titillating tale tells about Kronos who is a pirate with a heart and the Captain of Time’s End. The witty banter, crew drama, action, suspense, life-threatening incidents, and fiery sensual romance capture and hold your attention. Kronos also has a secret which he keeps tucked away. There is a happy ever after ending but not before a few hurdles are conquered.

Kronos and his crew of two are after a ship carrying valuable cargo that will bring them a load of money. Minna a beautiful, sassy scientist is aboard the ship that Kronos is after. Their cargo is a powerful human biosuit that Minna has invented and her ship is on its way to Venus. Kronos manages to get Minna who is in the biosuit she calls Jerky onto his ship. He is bewitched by her beauty, offers her a job as their cook and his protection. The ship encounters quite a few dangers. Kronos knows deep in his heart that he wants Minna by his side forever, but protecting the sassy raven-haired beauty is tough since she wants to be a more important part of the crew, not just their cook.

The story is fast paced, wonderfully written and the author immediately hooks you with credible engaging characters and picturesque vivid scene descriptions. Minna is a fabulous character, smart as well as courageous. Kronos does have a heart of gold but still has an alpha persona. Their romance is filled with much devotion and fiery passion. The secondary characters add to the excitement of the story. This is a most entertaining read. If you enjoy sci-fi fantasy this is a fabulous book for your library. {I was gifted this book and this is my honest review}. In the world of fantasy romance, the magic begins with the first thought to paper. Without reservations, I recommend this book.

MARAUDER KRONOS(Mating Wars #6) by Aya Morningstar

Minna is on her way to venus with a huge breakthrough in her research, when the ship she is traveling on is attacked by pirates. When the ruthless Captain and his brutal aliens demand their cargo, they dump Minna to save themselves.

A woman was the last thing Kronos expected when he retrieves the cargo. He can't help but be drawn to her and want to claim her for himself. He never thought he'd find a mate, let alone a human one.

Minna finds the handsome alien frustrating and infuriating. He won't let her go until she has worked off her debt. But she can't help but keep her eyes on his body and mischievous, roguish grin.

As soon as Mina has cooked and scrubbed enough dishes, she's leaving. Or will Kronos steal her heart and convince her to stay as something more than his cook?

Another awesome book, in this amazing series. I loved Kronos and Minna's story. It was exciting and very enjoyable read. It had me gripped from the start. I loved Kronos's cheekiness and Minna's stubbornness, they are a great match and suit each other perfectly. A very entertaining read!

Kronos is the new Captain of the Time's End. He and his crew have decided to be pirates that care! They're going all Robin Hood and will not hurt anyone in the raids they carry out. Minna chose the wrong ship to protect her new human-compatible bio-suit on its way to the Peacekeepers! When Kronos and his crew attack she gets spaced!!! Kronos saves Minna (and the very sentient biosuit she calls Jerky). Kronos makes her sign on as ships cook to pay her way to the nearest safe port once he decides that he'd rather not deal with the very protective Jerky. But will his crew all react the same way or will some of them succumb to their more piratey characteristics!?!?!?

Minna is smart, brave and lusting after Krnos. Kronos has a heart of gold but he still has to feed and pay his crew. Fabulously entertaining story and Jerky just about steals the show!

I was gifted this book and this is my honest review

This Marauder really made me laugh, Kronos is so happy go lucky, not at all like the others.

Minna a human scientist has discovered a new life form and it's a very valuable one cause it's a natural unlike the ones which the Marauders have to make synthetically.. Although it has been outlawed by Harmony, some still rely on it to keep the peace. She is on a secret trip to take Jerky to the Peacekeepers, when she is waylaid.

Kronos is a seraph who juat turned Pirate, or at least a Pirate with a heart. What is a pirate with a heart you may ask, well you'll just have to read this awesome story to find out. In any case Kronos hauls in what he expects to be loot from another ship, but he hauls in more than he bargained for and he may not be doing anymore bargaining after this and who would want to?

I had a great laugh reading this story, very heart warming...Kronos is such a sweetheart!

Could it really be the end for Harmony and if so is there something even worse?

Aya Morningstar is a fantastic writer. I love each story has a different couple, but it is a continuous series. If you haven't read the first ones in this series then I would read them first. This was on the light humorous side. I started reading it just before bedtime which was kind of a bad mistake because here I am in the middle the night write a honest review for it. I could not python it done. I do hope for a epilogue of the early couples would be nice to see how their still doing.

The series just gets better with each book. If you like sci-fi romances, this is for you.

She just wanted to make it from Mars to Venus, but the crew she hired ejected her into space as soon as pirates arrived. Thanks fully the captain calls them pirates with hearts, because he saved her. But nothing goes as planned for anyone after that. A lot of laughs and some scenes with a little heat make it a great romance story.

Marauder Kronos book 6 in the Mating Wars Series.
Pirates with heart, a crew of 3 and raid that goes wrong or maybe it went right.
Minna is trying to get her biosuit to Venus when she is taken by pirates. They want to sell her suit however, Kronos is a pirate with heart and offers her a job on his ship.
I enjoyed the banter between the characters, the love stories going on and the down fall of the super computer.

Excellent story with a action packed storyline. Kronos and Minna set off on a journey that will either lead them to death or a life full of love.

Kronos is a hard edged pirate that captures Minna from her ship. They all want her suit Jerky. Pirates with a heart is what he says. This was a wonderful read

I really loved the book, I really liked Jerky getting all embarrassed, it was so sweet. The plot of the book was really good. When Anna's escorts booted her off their ship so the pirates (with heart) could claim their cargo was wrong, but Kronos wanted to protect her from the moment he set eyes on her. I would recommend the book to others.

ARC review For honest review kronos and his crew of two more are out to pirate but with that heart of gold kronos has he can't help his actions after kidnapping minna for her invention of a bio suit that's alive. Theses characters are cute and just loveable that you can't resist.

Oh how I wanted to love it more... there was some grammatical errors and since it appears to be the last book in the series I had such high hopes for the ending. The others were much more involved, imho. I didn't hate it... just missing the wow factor I had hoped.

Book six in the series. It was good and different from the rest. We meet Kronos, a pirate and Minna, a scientist. The last two books ended at 77/80%, this book ended at 100% like it should. The only downside to this book is the end was once again rushed!!
