Kadın Bedeninin Spiritüel Gücü

Rate this book

Truly my new favorite book. so beautifully sums up my values and core beliefs of womanhood, service, and connection to the earth and the body. Will be a touchstone for me throughout my life I imagine.

I think this book has a lot to offer anyone interested in the female spiritual path. Hilary Hart articulates a forgotten feminine experience of spirituality, reclaiming women’s distinct spiritual powers and duties. Her call for the veneration of women’s innate, embodied experience was a joy to read.
There were moments when the prose felt unpolished, and some of the ideas aren’t for everyone. But overall the writing flows easily and I was engaged enough to finish in good time. The author presents a refreshing approach to feminine spirituality and its impact on the world.

4 stars for a fun read, with plenty to ponder afterwards.

I was 20% in, but got frustrated that the only thing the author seemed to get back to was the ability to have children and become mothers. How often can you make the exact same point in a book? DNF.

This book affirmed so many of my own struggles and desires. It made me feel perfectly normal and solidfied the path that I believe I'm on. It gave me ownership over my path and dysfunctional responses to things (i.e. materialism [shopping] is a desperate attempt to reconnect with earth's elements) and many suggestions as to how I can much more healthfully meet my needs. There were so many sentences that I had to stop and think about and write down.
Overall it was a little long and dry but I was able to finish in 2.5 weeks which allowed me plenty of time to digest the content.

It can provide inspiration to aknowledge and work with your divine feminine but some parts are repetitive. Without the exercises at the end I would have given it even a lower score.

I loved this book and was deeply inspired. It was wonderful to feel the support for women and their value as well as the recognition that women have been oppressed/suppressed for so long it is hard to process how to move forward.

Interesting book, but I had a hard time staying interested in wanting to read it as it was presented very dryly - didn't pull me in though the topic is one I'm very interested in.
