Hisae Iwaoka (岩岡ヒサエ , Iwaoka Hisae) is a Japanese manga artist.
Her work includes the one-shot manga Hana Boro (Flower Cookies) and Shiroi Kumo (White Clouds), Yume no Soko,Hoshigahara Aomanjuu no Mori, as well as the series Saturn Apartments, published by Ikki Comics and licensed in English by Viz Media.

The last and final part of Aomanjuskogen, and it left me feeling quite torn. I would really want the story to continue, to grow over decades and decades and continue to bring light into my life. But on the other hand, did this book feel like a proper and natural end to the story. Sometimes stories are meant to be finished. The ending, without giving too much away, dealt with the most inner and also the most common shared emotions of humans. Loneliness. It hits hard, and is a sickness sometimes hard to cure. Sometimes you need help from others, that cannot see that you are lonely. Aomanjuskogen beautifully handled these emotions with care and love. The book inspires me to be a better version of myself and in all honesty, isn't that the best a book can give you?

Eh ben voilà, c'est la fin... Je vous avoue avoir versé ma petite larme sur le dernier chapitre.

Ce cinquième tome conclu en beauté l'histoire de Sōichi, de Brise et de la forêt Aomanju. Une fin heureuse et poétique, exactement ce qu'il fallait.

Je suis contente que les nombreux thèmes abordés dans la série trouvent chacun une résolution ou une réponse satisfaisante. Écologie, enfance, héritage, identité et solitude, sont autant de sujets qui trouvent un écho dans ce manga.

Et est-ce qu'on peut parler de l'esthétique s'il vous plaît ?? Ce trait fin, ces détails d'arrière-plan, ces expressions du visage, ce vent, ces feuilles... de l'art. Juste de l'art.

Une pépite à découvrir et re-découvrir sans attendre !

Qué manga tan bonito y qué cierre tan maravilloso ha tenido. La verdad es que vivimos tiempos tan atropellados, tan crueles y tan pesimistas que leer algo así ha sido como tomar una comida caliente en un día frío. Me han sorprendido para bien como todas esas historias en apariencia «dulces» se han ido entremezclando hasta acabar en este tomo donde la historia se vuelve más cruda, pero que da paso a la esperanza. Esta historia sería el perfecto «hopepunk» del que hablan los amantes de las etiquetas, una trama donde la esperanza, la bondad y la comunidad son las herramientas necesarias para que todo se recomponga. En estos tiempos interesantes y llenos de guerras, odio y destrucción masiva de los recursos naturales, es un auténtico placer leer algo que nos dé un poco de aire fresco para respirar.

A bittersweet ending to this wholesome manga series. I enjoyed the enthesis on loneliness, family, frienship, hardships, finding your purpose. also so happy that gulliz found their mom , i do recommend for people to read this if they want an epic adventure about life in general and fantastic

Je suis totalement client de ce genre d'histoire pleine de poésie, de douceur, d'émotions, de fantaisie. Le dessin est très beau. Il y a des planches incroyables (comme à chaque tome).
