Lark Adams is the dark urban fantasy author of the Twisted Eventide series, first novel published October 23rd, 2013 titled Snow Covered Moon. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Lark graduated from Polytechnic Institute in 1999, she received two Associates degrees one in computer aided drafting and another in mechanical engineering. But her true passion and love has always been for the written word. She’s currently working on the next book in the Echoes of Time series.
When not designing mechanical systems she enjoys reading a good novel, drinking a good cup of coffee and letting the words on the page take her to new exciting places.
This is the second time I have read books 1-5 and I am sooooo glad I did. LM Adams has a twisted imagination that I absolutely love!
The way she brings her worlds to life makes a reader feel as if they are there. Next, I was going to say her characters, but that is not the way I feel. They are not just characters. They are more. Adams brings them to aching life. I feel as if the worlds and characters are right in front of me in HD. I can see what she describes, smell the copper sent, smell the fear and despair. Feel the whip and hear as it whistles through the air and strikes the flesh. To read these books is to escape into another realm.
I don't like to describe the books in my reviews. I leave that up to the author's synopsis and blurbs. So I won't be telling you what happens within these pages. But I will tell you that if you are a lover of dark books this is a must read series. But be prepared to see the darkness, because you won't just be reading it.
KEEP WRITING!!!!
THIS IS A DARK URBAN FANTASY. Lot's of sex. Lot's of BDSM. These books are not for the faint of heart. If you have a problem with the darker things, don't read. If you revel in them, BUY NOW!!
I truly love these books and do give them an overall 5 stars! However, and as a warning to those like me that hate bad editing; book 1 does need some attention in that area. BUT IT DOES NOT TAKE AWAY FROM THE STORYLINE! Trust me, if it did I would say so. My biggest pet peeve with books is editing. It's like nails on a chalk board to me.
I've read everything written by this woman and I can't stress enough the fact you need to read everything about this series... def don't want to miss a single word!
