A little about the Story:

This story is a prequel to the Gifted Series. It's a short story that gives you insight on the Team's first mission together.

My Thoughts and Rating:

If you have read Any of the Gifted Series, you will definitely appreciate this prequel. Seeing how the guys were when they first started and how they have grown as a team is exciting to say the least. I believe the Author also dropped a hint that has to do with Robert but then again, that could just be my wishful thinking.

This story doesn't go into a whole lot of detail but that is the whole point. To give you some insight and maybe a little tease. I enjoyed reading it & I believe you would too. As always, I can't wait to read the next installment of this Series & If you haven't started reading them yet, I recommend in doing so.

I give this Story 5 Stars ⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐⭐

A creative glimpse into the Gifted society!

Experiments let's you get a glimpse at how her amazing world started. I loved seeing the guys out on their first mission and seeing if they were ready to handle situations on their own. You learned about their friendships and got to see them before they became ex friends. Char Websters writing was right on point as always and of course had you captivated in her world of gifted characters. If I hadn't already read her series this book would definitely make me want to read them, I might just read them again after reading this!

This is a prequel novella to The Gifted Series. We are introduced to a world of magic and a group of four fun characters, Nick, Robert, Jason and Ryan. Each have their own special abilities and talents, even if some of that entails flirting with girls on a college campus. We follow Nick and his friends on their first assignment in the field and I hope there are many more to come!!!

I love this series. And yes I know it's a novella but I wanted more. More of the guy's background. More about what was discovered. Just more! But it is such a great story.

If you've read Ms Webster's Gifted series, you understand how much the men in this prequel mean to her readers. It is a peek at what the group of guys was like before they became who they were, either close friends or angry ex-friends, in the first two books of the series. These young men were born with their abilities, and they're searching out a lab where scientists are trying to figure out how to genetically enhance regular human beings.

It was fun to see them all working together before their lives were tainted in the ways that changed them preceding the first book in the Gifted series. The story is full of humor and anxiety, along with excitement and danger. The author has a way of combining fantastic ideas with realism that draws you into her imaginary world, one that is not just made up but we can picture being an actual force in our world. If you have't had the chance to read The Gifted Series, this is a great introduction to the male characters who will be a mainstay in the books that follow. I loved it and am looking forward to seeing more of these fun, sexy and charming characters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Read, October 24, 2016
By heljem

This was a thoroughly enjoyable book. It provided information about the boys from the Gifted Society while they were still at the Academy, but ready to go out on a mission supervised. They were each born with special gifts, and now someone is trying to reproduce those gifts illicitly. The camaraderie and playfulness between the young men, when they see the number of females at the university, is a sure sign that boys will be boys no matter where they are reared. If you have not read Char Webster's Gifted Society, this is a wonderful beginning. It leaves you wanting more. Who is trying to reproduce the DNA characteristics? Can they be stopped? I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving an Advanced review copy. I also purchased a copy of the book.

This was a great quick read about the Gifted people. This was like a small portion of the boys that makes you ready to dive in to the main dish, Discovery.

In this book we see the guys on their first mission outside of the Academy. Would someone dare to try to hurt the Gifted? Who is the enemy? Will be guys be prepared for their first time out on their own?

This is not a test. There are no re-dos. This is just the beginning...

Well this was a short and interesting prequel, I didn't understand it much since it was only about some experiments being made but I did stay interested on knowing more about the girl Robert was looking for and I hope she makes an appearance on the other books
