Robin Tamblyn is an English author, primarily of gay fiction. Robin was born in Watford, Hertfordshire and attended Liverpool John Moores University as a Screen Studies student from 1995-98. She currently resides in Exeter, Devon and is employed by the Rural Payments Agency as an administrative worker. Tamblyn has Asperger's Syndrome and self-identifies as a heteroromantic asexual. She was recently included in a Civil Service guide of “Inspiring LGB* Role Models."

Tamblyn is currently working on a follow up to "Looking Closer," provisionally titled "Dark Muse: Kevin Spacey, Fan Faction, and the Weinstein Effect." This will discuss the recent allegations of sexual harassment that have been made against Spacey as well as exploring how he inspired various characters in her works of fiction.
