Call me a greedy bastard. A heartless capitalist. I don’t care.
All I care about is winning and making money. That’s how it works on Wall Street. And that’s the only way I can get respect from Don Giovanni Fancelli. My father.
I always work alone and it’s always worked for me. Until I had to interview her. That’s when I knew I was in trouble.
Vicky is beautiful and independent, but above all, she’s smart and has the mindset of a hustler. Just like me.
I can't deny the attraction I feel for her, but let’s be honest: she’s an outsider. The family will never accept her. And she’ll probably never accept who I really am.
Meet Enzo and Vicky in this witty, flirty, steamy new adult romance packed with action and suspense. And a bit of humor too.
This boxset contains a dominating alpha male hero, a strong independent heroine and scenes of a sexual nature.
This boxset includes the following books in the series: Kissed by the Don, Touched by the Don, Desired by the Don.
S.K. Lee writes new adult and romantic suspense stories that are real page-turners, full of emotions, suspense, plot twists and steamy interactions between strong characters.
I really liked these books. It was an easy read just enough going on happy to bye book 4 I will say one part caught me by surprise and I fell down laughing for a good ten minutes.
Kissed by the Don: This is the first book my S.K. Lee I have read and it won't be the last. For me the title is a little miss leading. Enzo is not the Don his father is. This is not your typical mafia romance. I can't wait to see where this story line goes.
Touched by the Don: I loved the previous book Kissed by the Don and couldn't wait to start reading this one. I was a little frustrated with this book. I started reading this series because I was in the mood for a Mafia series. I hope this series starts to pick up more. I look forward to see what the next book has to offer.
Desired by the Don: This is the third book in this series and I can see that this is going to go slowly to get to the Mafia story line I hope it will be. How ever I am enjoying this enough that even though it ends in a cliffhanger I will read the next book.
I really enjoyed reading this box set. The characters were great. The characters were great, too. They worked together well. The chemistry was definitely there too. The storyline was written well. The only thing I don't like it ends with a cliffhanger.
Enzo is wall street , and his father is a don. Vicky is trying to get a job on wall street and get a visa to stay in the us . Enzo is looking for an intern and the choice is between Vicky and another male . i enjoyed reading this is a good start start on this series. I enjoyed the chemistry between Enzo and Vicky i am not a fan of cliffhangers .
I enjoy it so much I just got 4 an 5 plus 6 threw 10 I really enjoy reading hot love story.I order some more of her books because she can put like seeing a movie.I guess I will stay up late tonight. If these are good I will order all her books .I need to stay on a house budget :( People would love reading them. They are are affordable an good books to read.Thank you for keeping so affordable. :) keep the good books coming I will keep getting them an tell my friends an family about them too.
This was a quick read. To me, it felt more like a novella than a book. The concept was different because it involved the stock market and how to use your smarts. The story starts off well and then it gets a bit boring as the story progressed. It was nice to get an introduction to Enzo and Vicky, the main characters of the story. I wish the story was longer and that there was no cliffhanger. Also, I hope Book 2 - Touched by the Don is better. Overall, a good start to the series.
Book 2 - Touched by the Don: 3 stars
This was a quick read. Again, I felt like this was a novella more than a book. The book continues right where book 1 ended. This book is about her winning the job and then being trained. The desire to have him is overwhelming at times but Victoria resists and continues training to be a trader. They have a lot of pent-up sexual tension between them. I thought that was the most interesting part of this book. The ending of this book is also a cliffhanger. I think the ending could have been better explained. I hope book 3 is better. Overall, an okay read.
Book 3 - Desired by the Don: 3.5 stars
This was a quick read. Again, I felt like this was a novella more than a book. The book continues right where book 2 ended. This book was about the decision to remain a trader or step in and assume the told of the leader in one of the biggest crime families. While falling for Victoria he has to decide if a long standing promise should be kept. They finally admit their feelings for one another. The ending of this book is also a cliffhanger. I think the ending could have been better explained. I hope that books 4 and onwards get better and more interesting. Overall, an great read.
I purchased this set thinking I would get a complete story and feel deceived by the cliffhanger in book three. While I would have given this four stars, it drops down to two because I detest being misled. I hold off on buying series until they are complete for a reason. The author showed total disrespect for readers by using bundling as a deceptive gimmick for more sales instead of an honest representation of what was being offered and instead of a complete package we get roped into an unfinished project. It's a shame because the author has talent, but I won't buy her books again because I'm so turned off by this glaring lack of consideration for the reader.
I did enjoy these books but don't think I will be buying the rest of them up till yet there are 9 in the series, 3 box sets and the rest single reads. When you have to watch your pennies you have to choose your books wisely and unfortunately I cannot justify approx £2.50 on a book that is only 90 something pages long when I have read just as good books and maybe better with 300/400 pages for 99p. If you can afford to buy them then I would say go for it its a good read.
This book was okay. I felt like there was so much untapped potential in this boxset. I felt each book could have been longer and had more in-depth scenes and more backstory.
There were, it seemed like, a million paragraphs. Most of which only contained one or two sentences. That part was really annoying.
There weren't any spelling or grammatical errors that I noticed, which I really liked.
Loved the storyline, but it was a bit--how do I say this--jerky? Um, discombobulated? Either way, I loved it; however, most paragraphs were cut off before they were done. The longest one was 3 sentences, the shorter (which was 99.9% of them) was 1-2 sentences in length. The author cut off paragraphs and made them into new ideas when they are part of old ideas. Other than that, and some grammatical issues, the story was great.
