Alison Ryan brings you ODIN, a full-length billionaire romance thriller and the second book in the Billionaire Titans Series. This book is a full story with no cliffhanger and a guaranteed HEA.
Odin Titan is just your typical billionaire heir.
Except his brother, ex-Navy SEAL Atlas, has brought trouble to his doorstep. Odin’s life of fast cars and faster women has come to a screeching halt in the time it takes to squeeze a trigger.
Now Odin’s life and future are in the hands of widowed doctor Clara O’Grady, who has lived a solitary life dedicated to her patients since the violent loss of her husband six years ago.
Can Clara heal Odin and teach him what truly matters in life? Can Odin help Clara shed her past and learn to live, and to love, again?
The enigmatic QB terrorized the Titan family in Atlas, book one of the Billionaire Titans series, and he’s not finished yet.
Two brothers, side by side with the strong women in their lives, take on a villain who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
Odin is a tale of twists, turns, revenge, love, and loss, with plenty of steam and a guaranteed HEA. Every loose end from Atlas gets tied up in this one. Enjoy!
Update: Reread 1/21/23. It had been almost 5 years so I really didn’t remember any of it. However, once read, the review was accurate. I enjoyed the suspenseful nature of the story the best and it wasn’t told in a traditional POV, which I really enjoyed. I never read past this book in the series, so now I’m ready. Following was the original review:
Odin was the second book in the Billionaire Titans series by Alison Ryan. It was not a traditional storyline and I enjoyed it as a result.
We met Odin through his interactions with his brother, Atlas in book one. This was the first time we actually got to see him in person and it was a surprise opening. Clara was a Doctor that the Titan’s hired for one on one care. It was written with a dual POV with guest POV’s as appropriate. Odin’s perspective was unique and unexpected.
I enjoyed the suspenseful plot. It picked up where the last book left off and Odin was now in hiding. It took us through the book with the conflict that began in the beginning of the series finally coming to a conclusion. There were several editing errors as well as a few loose ends that weren’t fully explained; otherwise, it was enjoyable and entertaining.
Canaan is the last brother to fall but first Nolan Weston and Camilla Hunt in book three, Nolan.
Alison Ryan has done it again! She gives readers what they want and so much more. From the very beginning, Ms Ryan grabs hold of you and keeps you captivated until you're read the final page and even then you want a little bit more. The story-line was great and the cast of characters were well-developed. Odin has a good mix on suspense, heartache, mystery, action, lots of unexpected twists and turns, overwhelming emotions, loss, family, love, and incredible sex.
An ARC was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
The is a fantastic read. My advice is please do not read unless you have read Atlas first. Alison Ryan has delivered 2 excellent stories that intertwine with The Mentor & The Mogul.
This story carries on the Titan series and focuses on Odin and Clara although Piper and Atlas are very much primary characters.
Odin is picking up his brother and pregnant girlfriend from the airport when they are ambushed. Odin is shot three times and rushed to the A&E where we meet ER Doctor Clara. She is the one that initially saves his life. Atlas makes Clara an offer not to be refused. Odin and Clara are moved to a safe house where she continues to care for him while he is in a coma.
As she is caring for him on a daily basis she starts to develop strong romantic feelings for Odin. Odin may be in a coma but little do those around him he can hear everything that is going on. It's just that he is trapped and frustrated. He recognizes Clara's pain even though he is in another state of being. He falls in love with her. His soul recognizes its mate.
The Titan's do get the retribution that they deserve but not without continued tragedy to the family, there are twists and turns with unexpected events. All loose ends are tied up in this book but I am hoping for more from the Titan's. Wonderful read with a perfect HEA.
If Atlas was fantastic, Odin’s story instead is superlative. This wonderful book is the sequel of the previous book so if you want to read it, you must read Atlas first. Odin is Atlas’ brother who gets shot seriously and unfortunately this accident puts him into coma. He will be cured by Clara, a beautiful and caring doctor that will madly fall in love with Odin. Actually the entire story is mainly focused on Odin’s recovery and on this growing passion between him and Clara who will become his guardian angel. I highly recommend this book, it is a demonstration of how love can overcome even the fear of death.
The book starts out with Odin picking up his brother and sister-in-law Atlas & Piper at the airport. A relatively easy thing to do without incident, unless your last name is Titan. On the way back from the airport, they are ambushed and Odin is shot several times almost ending his life. Atlas is furious that this has happened to them and he knows this is because of his past. Odin is rushed to the hospital where Dr. Clara O'Grady saves his life. But Atlas knows this isn't over by a long shot and he has to get them to a safe house before it is too late. Atlas offers Dr. O'Grady one million dollars to come with them and care for Odin; he can't risk having too many people know what has happened so he needs her to make a quick decision.
Clara is a widow and has nothing keeping her at the hospital; one million dollars will change her life. But what she doesn't expect is that it will be Odin who will change her life and not the money. Clara finds herself drawn to Odin even though he is in a coma. She talks, reads, sings to him all the while caring and tending to his every need. She doesn't have a lot of experience with patients in a coma but she believes they can hear everything happening around them. She tries to make Odin feel safe and to let him know he is surrounded by family who love him very much.
Slowly Odin starts to hear, smell and feel things around him. He finds himself waiting to hear Clara's voice when she enters his room and smell her scent when she is so close to him while shaving and washing him. He wants so bad to see her face and reach out and touch her but his body won't do what he wants it to and then one day it does......
I don't want to give the rest away but you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to read a sexy book with some mystery and intrigue all rolled into one great storyline with fantastic characters. This story will leave you breathless and your heart pounding for Odin & Clara's HEA. Another must read by Alison Ryan!!! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and originally posted this on another website on October 2, 2016.
This was a pretty good book. Not only do we continue the story of Piper and Atlas and their fight with the psychopath QB, we meet the second oldest Titan brother, Odin. He's unfortunately caught up in the cross fire between Atlas and his enemies and is severely injured. With these enemies hot on their trail, Odin is forced to recover from his coma in hiding. It is then that we meet Dr. Clara O'Grady. She's like Odin's very own Florence Nightingale. The action and suspense in this book was interesting, even if the walk down memory lane with Odin and another character was less than enjoyable. I sort of skimmed over those parts. But I really did like Odin and Clara together. **The ending: I've read this book twice, I've also read Barrett's story (Covet) and still cannot understand why Atlas chose Barrett as his best man, rather than his brother, Odin. I figured it was the least he could do since Odin almost died trying to get them to safety.
This book was different he was a retired Navy seal billionaire. His father asked him to watch over his stepsister that he hadn't seen since she was 12 years old. She had gotten herself into an abusive relationship with somebody that was high up in government and also an ex-Navy seal and she needed a bodyguard. He promised himself that he would never have love but he did fall in love with her and it's kind of a different story so it's OK it's another so so book and it didn't end with this book you have to go to another book to get the end which I really really hate. 😡
This book really is the ending of the first one Atlas- the action and drama was page turning.
However, I didn’t really connect to Odin & Clara - in the way I did with Atlas & Piper - it could be because even though they were the focus of the story they didn’t seem to stay stage center so to speak. Also, didn’t seem like I got to know Odin since he was in a coma for much of the book - even though his mind was alert - it really didn’t tell me much about him as a person.
Overall good story and everything was nicely tied up at the ending - maybe to nicely.
A flawless continuation of "Atlas" book 1. Odin is a story of thrilling suspense, love, romance and loss. A powerful madman, is methodically trying to kill all members of the Titan family. After a shooting, Atlas Titan has his brother, Odin Titan, moved to a safe house to be cared for by personal physician Dr. Clara O'Grady. The budding romance of Odin & Clara is a pleasure to read. I highly recommend this book. Note: No cliffhanger.
I loved Odin's story as much as I did Atlas. The never ending twists and turns. The on the edge of your seat anticipation. And, of course, the steamy romance of the characters.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. OMG Alison Ryan has written yet another FANTASTIC book!
I did not want to put this book down from the first page, it pulled me in and held me captive until the last page (and beyond) I so enjoyed the way Alison wrote characters from Mentor and Mogel into this story and made it so that they appear to be friends that are almost family.
Odin Titan gets a bit careless when he picks up Atlas and Piper at the airport and an assassin hits him with 3 shots.
Claire O'Grady is the ER Doctor on duty and is a widow, who initially saves Odin's life but then Atlas makes her a million dollar offer to leave the hospital and be his full time round the clock Physician, Nurse and Caregiver which she accepts.
As Claire nurses Odin and cares for him on a daily as well as sometimes nightly basis she begins to feel a strong connection to him and a romantic pull. Little does she know that Odin can hear everything she says to him and although he is trapped in a body that won't move or talk he is developing a strong romantic attraction to Claire.
QB has once again attacked the Titan family but eventually, with the help of a long time friend of Odin's they are able to track him down after it is discovered that another of the Titan men, Achilles has been found and is dead at QB's hands.
Atlas pulls together a team and heads out of country to mount an attack on QB but they have not been as careful as they had thought and QB has attacked the Titan's in the hideaway house in Las Vegas where Odin, Claire, Piper and Atlas' newborn daughter thought they were safe. Little does QB know that not only is he up against a weakened Odin but 2 very strong women who do not give up easily and are quick to think on their feet.
This book is filled with mystery, murder, twists, turns, romance and family. I have enjoyed this, yet another AH MA ZING book by Alison Ryan and look forward to the next one she rights which I'm hoping will be written around another Titan sibling.
I highly recommend this book and author. I rated this book 5 stars simply because 10 is not a choice.
Thank you for allowing me to read yet another of your mind creations, Alison
LOOOOOOOOOOVED IT. Odin was amazing. Clara was amazing. Atlas and Piper once again were amazing. Loved how it continued on and concluded the way it did.
Absolutely loved this book. Loved the romance between Odin & Clara. Loved the loose ends getting tied up from the 1st book Atlas. Cannot wait to read Canaan's story.
I would have thought that tying up all the entities involved in this series would have been impossible, but not for Alison Ryan! Clara and Odin's story is so heartwarming. The connection they make without one word spoken between them is strong. This story has so much death and heartbreak but all of that makes it a well-written novel. Thank you Alison for once again making a rainy day a great day of reading!
Odin is the second book in the Titan's series and it continues where we left off in Atlas. It is fast paced and full of action, suspense. The characters old and new were great. The author ties up all the loose ends to the question you may have. I can't wait to read more of the family.
I love the Titan family and the other casting characters around this series. All the lose ends have been tied up neatly and the Wrath of QB is over! Odin and Clara make a swoon worthy couple. Definitely recommend all the books surrounding this storyline. Received an ARC for an honest review.
Odin is the second book in the Billionaire Titans series by author Alison Ryan. This book picks up where Atlas left off. While this book focuses on Odin, it does heavily integrate Atlas and Pipers situation into this book.
Odin had picked up Atlas and Piper when they landed. Their flight was rerouted to Las Vegas instead of heading to where their father and brother were holed up. They were all still in danger from QB and were in hiding. Others on QBs shortlist were starting to perish but some were escaping which was making him angry.
Odin was shot three times after getting Atlas and Piper. He was rushed to the hospital where Dr. Clara O’Grady was able to stabilize him and save his life, despite him being in a coma. Atlas offers Clara a million dollars to become Odins personal doctor and to move in and care for him. She accepts and is at the ranch later that evening when he’s moved there.
She takes care of him like any doctor would. She keeps him a live but she spends a lot of her time with him. She talks to him, reads to him and even sings some. She’s quickly falling for him through her dreams she has and by being around him so much. She does some research and finds a device that might help him.
Enter Raven Conway. Raven is a long time friend from back when he was in an elite school. He was a hacker trying to impress a girl when Raven popped up and stopped him in his tracks. He was a good hacker but Raven was better. He mentioned Raven to his father and she’s been in debt to him since even though they don’t look at it that way. She steals the device and research to the device.
Clara uses the device and it pulls Odin out of his coma. He recovers very quickly, which is good. Atlas found QB. Actually Piper spied him in a box above a soccer stadium while Clara had the game on. Atlas started forming a plan which included inducing labor for Piper so he could meet his little girl first. And like that Achillea is born, named to honor the youngest Titan brother Achilles who was killed.
Things get very bad. Very, very bad before things start to look up. But in this kind of world, can anything truly look up? We’ll just have to wait and see when the next Billionaire Titan book comes out.
I like this book better than the first. We get backstory with both Clara and Odin. We learn not only how Odin used to be a hacker but how Raven became part of the family, so to speak. We learn about Claras husband who died while at work. We learn more about these two characters and so far, I’m liking all the characters. The bad guys might be bad but Alison Ryan’s writing makes it more believable. I honestly can’t wait to get more books written by her.
Finally the Titan's get their retribution but they had too pay a hefty price. I liked how throughout the Titan's story with their power and wealth they did not loose their humanity even though their enemies had no humanity. We feel the pain and loss for Odin and the other Titan's. A powerful part of the story how Odin recognized Clara's pain even when he was in another state of being. I do not want to give a spoiler alert lol. This was a sensual read, it touched the mind and body, and Odin & Clara have their HEA. Read this book, you will be glad you did!!!
This one was a little less spy stuff, but brought in characters from other books. If you haven't read Atlas, read it first. Well, read all her books because their good. The story moved quickly, was action packed and you never knew what was coming next.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Those Titan men sure do know how to keep things interesting! I love the aspect of love developing from what started as a professional relationship. Also, how can you NOT love it when a baby is born? Another home run!
The perfect follow-up to Atlas, Odin finished the story perfectly. It wasn't as "steamy" as atlas, but it makes perfect sense why not due to the continuing storyline.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
