This is a real mix of Science Fiction and horror.

This is a complex / well developed story with good characters.

It did take me a while to get into the story but it is certainly worth the effort.

An alien world with mystery and excitement looming all over the place.

Once I was in their world, I found it hard to break free. I stayed on, and I loved every enchanting moment of it. From the moons, colored skies, avian predators, the clans, E.V.A.IN.E. ghosts, ceremonial rituals, Green Woman Falls, to brave characters like White Star, Grey Fox, and New Moon.

However, the most beautiful to me is Full Swan's and E.V.A.IN.E.'s bond as a tribal leader and ghost guide. Since the time they bonded, they have faced many challenges, but they have grown together through them. It wasn't a surprise when they developed strong feelings for each other. In Full Swan's words, "You must know now I would rather die than be without you". E.V.A.IN.E.'s response was to empower him and extend his living years…loving him.

You will miss a lot not reading this one.

A sci-fi masterpiece from an extremely intelligent, creative, and innovative author.

How the author created E.V.A.IN.E. is beyond me. The narrative is almost poetry – almost too beautiful, but you get to experience it for real in dumbfounding words and phrases. Imagine having to enjoy all that throughout the book, and it becomes magical. It made me think the author is a super being himself with an undeniable ability to create a new world out of his imagination.

I bet you can tell how impressed I am right now, but as you will encounter this extended virtual artificial intelligence entity, you will fall in love. And speaking of love, witness E.V.A.IN.E.'s evolution from a pre-programmed ancestral guide to an entity capable of emotional bonding. It is inspiring!

Looking for a compelling, exciting Sci-Fi? Look no further! E.VAIN.E was everything I was hoping for. Om excited this is a series because I didn’t want this story to end.

I found the plot really unique. I’m not sure I’ve read anything quite like it. It was paced really well and I flew through the book. The world building was awesome and I really felt like I was there. The characters were intriguing and realistic feeling as well.

Over all, I really enjoyed this book! A really fantastic Sci-Fi that deserves 5 stars.

I liked the diversity and originality of this novel. You think that you are going to know what you're getting, but Jackson Burrows really manages to surprise his readers.

It's a nice blend of genres. Some Horror and Sci-Fi with a touch of Romance.

I really enjoyed the pacing and how it was steady throughout. It is fast paced and doesn't let up and didn't have moments that dragged. It made for a fast and furious read.
