I just finished reading The Light by Gail Pate. I loved this book. I loved the character Ben and it being about the beach. I loved that it had not only mystery but also a little romance. A wonderful fast read. Definitely looking forward to the next book Halo.
I don’t usually go for sci fi, and normally I end up getting completely bored but oh my gosh how amazing! Not only was this sci fi, but also mystery and romance. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through and I couldn’t put it down. Recommended to anyone!
I loved the way this story unfolds. What starts out as a familiar tale of teenage angst, is unpredictable with surprising twists and turns. I read it straight through from beginning to end because I just had to see what came next. Now I have to catch up on the sleep I missed because of this thrilling book.
This is a great book I don't read sci-fi but this one got me hook now I started to read the next one I wish this book would be on the best seller list but she on good reads and my library oder her books and hope this will help others like me get hook share fast read very exciting.
A lot about this book bothered me, but mostly the blatant misspellings (same word a couple's of times) and a narrator with a speech pattern that actually slowed my reading and had one reference to its strangeness without explanation of why.
