5 Dragon’s Soul Stars

Ahhh I am so happy I listened to this book, I wanted book 2 soooo badly. It took me a bit to get into the first book but no time at all to get into this one.

I am rooting for Killian and Serena. But there is always someone in the wings plotting and scheming!!

Katia…Killian’s wife, not by choice… I want to hurt her like really badly. I am terrible but she is EVIL!! Why didn’t she just marry Killian’s father if she wanted power I swear.

I love that Serena schemes for good to get Killian out of this situation. Killian is kind of losing himself. And something needs to be done…

I need book Three like NOW!!

I LOVED the narration, again its perfect and the accents are fantastic. I can’t even.. I need more.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

If you loved Dragons Heart by Michelle Rabe, you will love Dragon's Soul even more. She has carefully crafted another book full of intrigue and fantasy. The writing is excellent and you really feel you are standing in the shadows watching the story unfold right before your eyes. It's one you will not be able to put down because you will need to know what happens next. Well done and happy reading!

Serena is learning the ways of her people, doing what she can to be the queen they deserve. Leaving her heart in Killian's care, she tries to focus on her duties as a princess. Not an easy task, as Serena is not only fighting against a hidden past, but also those who are against her hiding in her ranks.
Killian is trying to find a way to fulfill his duties as the prince, without breaking Serena's heart - or his own. Unfortunately for Killian, dark forces are working against him in ways which he is not even aware. Those loyal to him do what they can, but secret deals and dark magic make Killian alone and vulnerable.
While trying to protect Serena, Killian pushes her away. Serena, not one to whither away from a challenge, engages her own plan in making things right. She knows just how far to push, allowing Killian to fight his own battles while letting him know that she is there for him and with him always.

Michelle Rabe continues the Dragon Fey Saga with more. More of what? More of everything! The first book drew me in with a strong female lead, great supporting characters, and a story like I had never read before. The second does not disappoint, bringing readers back with a running start. The ending, once again, leaves me wanting more. I cannot wait to find out what happens next.

I received this book for free for an honest review

Where to start to be quite honest I really didn't think I would get in to the first book as it sounded quite confusing with all the different breeds of people but once I caught the hang of it I could put the book down and quite frankly same happens in this book what a start I love how Michelle gives you a quick encounter of what's already happened to refresh your memory if you like me and have read tons of books between this book and the next only down fall is now is I have to wait for the next book so if you like to read the whole set after one another then I would wait but the wait is worth it between each book
Another captivating book by a captivating author well written :)

Even better than book 1! Evil, scheming dark fae, true love thwarted at every turn, and dastardly politics abound in this story of intrigue and plotting. My only regret is that book three isn't immediately available for me to devour!

Dragon's Soul is the second book in The Dragon Fey series and it continues where Dragon's Heart left off. In this one we see Serena fulfilling her role as Dragon Fey Queen, against all odds. It's not just those of different courts who don't want to see her rule. Killian has his hands full still with Katia and his father, although that took a darker twist!

The scene has already been set in book one so reading this was like settling down with a comfy blanket and just being able to relax and enjoy the story as it unfolded before my eyes. The characters remain true to themselves, doing the best they can in difficult situations.

This is a great addition to the series, carrying with it all the intrigue and betrayal as seen in Dragon's Heart. Thoroughly enjoyed by me and I look forward to book three.

I enjoyed the second book more than the first one. The story continues with dragonfade, Darkfade and humans. With love, schemes and plots the tale twist and weaves.
The tale is a lovely story.

Michelle Rabe tells a fairly clean story with very little sex scenes in it. Only lightly describe. No corse language. There is some violence. I’m looking forward to the next story.

Narration by Karen-Eileen Gordon , I had to speed up a little to 1.25. Otherwise her performance was good. Giving gaps between chapters showing clearly where new chapters began.
Again she brings life to the story. Her accent adds a little something to the story and the characters are all have distinct voices. It is recommended that you listen to the demo.

This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher free of charge for a honest, unbiased review.

Audiobook review: Dragon’s Soul is a nice edition to the series. Jillian and Serena are back and their longing for one another is as strong as ever despite royal marriage meant to keep them apart. The story is entertaining and the characters were interesting and likable. The narrator did a great job! I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I’m still not feeling it with these characters. They are ok but I’ve just not bonded to them like I usually do. Karen gives a great performance so I’m a little puzzled over why I’m not feeling it. The storyline is good and it’s written well.

I have been waiting for this book - the second in The Dragon Fey Saga. I pre-ordered at the first opportunity. Even so it was a very pleasant surprise when it popped up on my Kindle.

Michelle Rabe is not a prolific writer. No three books a year following the same formula. Every word she wtites has been given due consideration to ensure it is right; that it adds to the story being told.

The Dragon Fey Saga has romance, love, lust, beautiful scenes where your own imagination has to tell the story...but Michelle Rabe sets them up so well that you should finish them, as I did, with a racing heart and a contented sigh.

The book has all the two faced, back stabbing jealousy of two royal courts. Good luck working out the goodies from the baddies and the just couldn't care less.

There are duels, competitions, sneaky raids and all out fights.

Best of all...there be Dragons...

Five stars well earned.

Well well, what can I say but the once again Michelle has done it again. This book picks right up where the first started and once again immerses you into the heart of the story. I found myself wanting to cry, laugh, scream and throw a tantrum at all the twists and turns in this book. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book so I can see what happens next. All in all a very very satisfying read.

Michelle Rabe did it again!
I fell in love with Serena and Killian in Dragon's Heart and their story left me frustrated, aching, and wanting more.
If you like a book with villians you love to hate, then you definitely want to read this series! Katia makes me want to strangle her!
There is love, intrigue, and DRAGONS!
Seriously, this is a wonderful follow up to its predecessor and I'm greatly looking forward to the next in the series!
