You've heard of the Weeknd and PartyNextDoor, but the man who took the industry by storm is none other than...The Regal.
When he was coming up, in the game, nobody wanted to give him a fair shot at the title so he made his own path. Now, at the tender age of 22, Destine Prince Rogers or his preferred name, The Regal, took the crown, thrown, and the game by force. There's nothing the music industry does, without including him. With all his garnered success, something is still missing. All the sex in the world doesn't compare to love and The Regal trips and falls into an ocean of deep feelings, after meeting Miss Golden Blake.
Golden goes to school, blends in with the crowd and never oversteps her boundaries. After a wild night of drinking and partying with Hollywood's most notable bachelor, she unknowingly manages to steal his heart, capture his soul, and becomes forever his. Not used to the hoopla, surrounding The Regal's coveted lifestyle. Will the newfound attention drive her away or further into the arms of the music industry's synthesizing R&B King?
Families will turn against each other and rifts will be broken. Coming from two sides of the track to fall for one another. Through it all, will love prevail?
This book was great, I love the main characters. Love she put what's going on in the real world about fathers leaving and forgetting they have kids. I recommend this book
I loved this story I love me some Golden and Destine. I like how they feel in love without knowing they feel in love. Golden was so timid but at least she kept it real. I'm glad he found out about what his punk daddy did and lied to not just him and his brothers but his sisters to. I really hope hat wasn't the end. I wanna know who told Wendy that so called "tea". What happened with Cocoa and their father. Read it in one day and it was all that. A page turner
This was a different kinda book. It was not your normal "thug" type book, so it was a nice change. I liked the characters and storyline. It was a little slow at times, but it managed to pull me back in. I didn't really like the ending, but I will read more from this author because I like her writing style. Good job on your 1st book.
I'm hoping there will be at part 2! I have so many unanswered questions! Golden 's relationship with her parents, her sister, the babies in the media etcetera. The book just ends with no clear ending.
