The last person office manager Kingsley Walker expects to slam into is Charlie Batum. If seeing him again weren't painful enough, her sexy ex-boyfriend announces he wants her back in his bed. She's been there, done that-and has the heartbreak to prove it, but that doesn't mean she hasn't noticed Charlie's swagger or the sexual chemistry flaming between them. She agrees to a no-strings relationship, but he's now playing for keeps with a passion that gradually melts her defenses. Will she ever be able to put aside her fear that he'll break her heart again? For a man used to getting what he wants, an occasional fling has always been enough for Charlie Batum-until he crashes into Kingsley's car. It's been thirteen years since he'd last seen her, and yet after one night, the full-figured beauty has the land developer reevaluating everything. Charlie doesn't believe in love. He just wants her for sexual pleasure. So why can't he keep her out of his bed...and out of his heart? ** Please Although the other books in the series are novellas, this is a full-length, 85,000 word novel. Church's seduction game was so strong but his dancing, there wasn't any words for it. But what a man would do for the woman he loves is beyond measure. I am in awe of Kingsley for her strength to overcome the tragic events of her life and still be an encouraging and inspiration to others.
Communication is a major part of any relationship. And it doesn't matter what type of relationship it is. Chuck love him some Kingsley. I really hope she continue with the help she needs to deal with her trust issues. Now what about Eric?
There were a lot of misspelled words and words that were not needed in some sentences. Overall the book was ok. I have read other books by Angie. I would like to hear more about Eric and Val.
What a great love story about second chances. I'm glad they both allowed each other to experience and explore their friendship before taking it to the next level, unfortunately it took a misunderstanding to get them where they needed to be to make the friendship more. Loved It! ReneeG 👍
Enjoyed this story. Touched on a some great topics and issues people face when going through traumatic experiences. The love scenes never disappoint. Great book can't wait until the next one.
I've Read Several of Mrs.Daniel's books and they never disappoint!!! The story lines are always realistic which always draws me in!!! I love this book and I'd give it ten stars if I could!!!
I gave this book 5 stars because is was terrific. Kingsley and Chuck's story was cute. I am so glad they found each other again. Mr. Roberto should be ashamed of himself for how he treated Kingsley. Great job Angie!! Can't wait for your next book.
