"Where are you?" Harold called, searching desperately through the forest. The footprints had disappeared, wind blowing snow in little eddies around his head. He felt dizzy for a moment, wondering if the elves had cast a spell. Maeve was not dressed for the cold--she would die if he didn't find her soon...Between the birth of their baby girl and Maeve’s obsession with the faery known as the ‘love talker’ lie many twisted paths. When the elven queen becomes part of the equation it takes more than love to reweave what’s been unraveled. A Fae civil war brings Harold’s alter ego, King Kenneth MacAlpin, to the fore, possibly ruining Maeve and Harold’s relationship forever. Danger abounds, bringing with it hard decisions and possibly death.

I graduated with a BA in art and English from Sonoma State University in California. I've been an avid reader since I first learned how and a writer from my early teenage years on. I've had several art related businesses, including greeting cards and more recently a silk painting business. When I began to write in earnest I put aside the art, concentrating only on the writing.

I've traveled a lot over the years, finding inspiration wherever I go. Scotland holds a special place in my heart, hence the setting for "The Moonstone". I had to make a 4th trip there to do research as I was putting the book together!

A Wonderful and Creative Flight of the Imagination!

This story had every element a good story should have. An exciting plot, attention to detail, but best of all fleshed out, well-written and well-rounded character development. There’s an abundance of well illustrated scenes that really make you feel like you are right there in the story, and that's something I really look for in a good book.

This captivating and commendable work had me immersed from the beginning. The story flows from scene to scene with ease, and the author shows exceptional ability when it comes to storytelling. There are twists and turns in this page turner that will take the reader on a gripping journey!

It’s one of those stories that come along once in awhile that makes you want to read it non-stop until you get to the end. I’m giving nothing further away here. And this, I hope, will only add to the mystery and enjoyment for the reader!

This is definitely a recommended read. It’s an impressive fantasy tale that’s a great and easy trilogy to follow. I’ll certainly be looking forward to reading more from Nikki Broadwell in the future!

Great Read

Easy most of her books this story was great! I loved the ending. The only few complaints I had would be that Mauve had seen more action in the end and more details of how she got her powers back and the revenge sought out upon the Slaugh. Other than that it was a great read.

Having read several other books from Nikki Broadwell I was very excited to see that Book 4 of the Wolfmoon series had been released. This book continues the story of Maeve etcetera from the first three books, and was a really satisfying read, as the first three books in the series have been. I love the writing style of the author and find her books to be really interesting in terms of plot and character development. I found that great attention to detail had been given to plot development and you really feel like you are a part of the story when you are reading, as the descriptive writing really brings the story to life. The story has elements of love, action, fantasy, intrigue and drama, and it follows a really fast pace, so it keeps you interested to the end. I recommend this book, and series, to anyone looking for a compelling story which is written and edited well, offering plenty of fantasy and action.

If you are looking for an exciting, fun series to read then I recommend the Wolfmoon series, of which this is the fourth book. I definitely recommend that you read the first three books in the series so you know what has happened in the plot prior to the story in this book, and I assure you that you will not regret the cost of buying the full series. The series is a fun, interesting and exciting read, and it has lots of fantasy elements weaved into a broader plot which deals with love, intrigue, inner strength, and danger. The characters and the storyline are really believable and well written and I love the natural writing style of the author, who does a great job of making the story, characters and settings jump off the page. I absolutely love the artwork on the covers of the series. This book is highly recommended (the whole series is recommended), and lovers of fantasy will not be disappointed with this book.
