Eric Rutherford is a photographer at the top of his game.
Young, handsome, and rich, he burst onto the art scene like a rock star. His black and white portraits sell for massive sums, but Eric wants to take a new direction in his work. He longs to create more intimate art. He wants to photograph the imprints of rope across a woman’s skin, and the red stripes left by a flogger.
And so his search for the perfect model begins, and when blonde Anya walks into his apartment, his only fear is she’ll say no.

Art student Anya Rhinne knows all about Eric Rutherford.
She knows how he’d had every spotlight turned on him, only to fall from grace spectacularly with some kind of breakdown he only described in interviews as his ‘dark days.’
When he offers her the job as his model, and their sessions together grow more intimate, she struggles to divide what is professional from personal.
As his work takes a turn toward obsession, a desire to create perfection at all costs, she has to wonder if she’ll ever mean more to him than just a beautiful image on a photograph.
Will she sacrifice everything for his art?

This is a re-packaging of a previously released book. I prefer the original title of Model Wanted but the book is very readable. Anya is a Fine Arts student, Eric is a photographer, they meet when she responds to his advert for a model. Together they make erotic art and a story is born.
This was well paced and easy to read, I finished it in just a day. There are some very hot and explicit scenes but there is also some emotional depth and the people have more to them than is on the surface. The speed of their falling in love was very fast but then perhaps in this situation it could happen and it fits. There were a couple of editing issues but these didn't really detract from the story. Enjoyable. I recieved a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through arc

Eric was a well know photographer and fine artist. He was looking for his next model for an erotic photo shoot. He interview many women but none wanted to do the shoot until Anya walks in. Anya was exactly what he had been looking for he was just hoping she would take the job.

Anya calls Eric the next day taking the job. Anya was not afraid of being naked or posing for the erotic pictures. Eric couldn't stop thinking about what he could do to her and she was willing to do whatever. Anya and Eric have blurred the lines between work and sex. But, with Eric his work always came first. He like the way the new shots had come out. Eric's friend who own a gallery asked to see his latest work. Eric cleared it with Anya first since she was the subject.

Eric found out that he friend wanted to give him an exhibition at his gallery. Anya finds out about the exhibition and explodes because her father and mother were a renowned art critic. Eric was freaked when he found out that Anya was their daughter because they wanted to use the pictures with Anya's
face. Anya was totally freaking out and tells him to hire another model. Eric told Anya that Logan wanted to meet her. Anya goes to the meeting and when she meets Logan she feels all tingly.

Anya and Eric go to tell her parents about the exhibit and things got heated between Anya, Eric and her father. Anya has conflicting feelings being sad about her father and the love she had for Eric. Eric goes to Anya's father again which made things worse. Eric wanted to take some more photos of Anya and he wanted to include his friend Logan in the photos. Anya knew she loved Eric and didn't understand why she was getting turned on by Logan. The photo shoot begins as Eric is directing them around Anya found it hot and so did Logan.

Eric starts to act strange forgetting to eat go to the gym barely sleeping and a very short temper. It go so bad the only person she could go to was Logan. Anya goes and talks to Logan about Eric. He tells her that he is bipolar and without his medication he becomes manic and then depressed. When Eric realizes that Anya was not there and a plate was smashed with the sandwich all over the floor. He thought he had lost her and didn't remember what he had said to her. Also, his exhibition is in a couple a days so that stressed him out all the more.Twists, turns, betrayal, and Hot Sexy Scenes.
There is also mention of bipolar mental illness.

I thought this book was a huge attention grabber! I haven't read books like it, so I definitely think it was creative! Agreeing to a gorgeous photographer taking erotic pictures of you? Crazy, but bold, especially with the secrets Anya had hidden! Eric had plenty of his own, too!

I'm normally not a fan of the whole BDSM lifestyle, but I did find reading it as being part of Anya's job to be really interesting! It wasn't 100% BDSM, either. There were definitely plenty scenes with more than enough steaminess!

The ending was good! I'm still laughing about what happened to Anya's arch enemy!

Spoiler:

I was really hoping for a love triangle to develop from the Logan / Anya photoshoot, but I suppose at that point in the book, there wouldn't have been a lot of time for much to progress.

I love how this story was sexy and edgy mixed with sweet and wonderful. Marissa really out did herself with this one. It's not just reading a story, its like watching a camera follow Eric and Anya around and really showing you their lives. I've read some of Marissa's darker work, but this one feels so much more powerful (at least for me). I can't believe I really read this. I could swear that it was all really happening in front of me. Such an awesome read.

Sex and art, my favourite things

I loved this book from the start when sassy Anya walked into renowned photographer Eric Rutherford's apartment and makes damn sure she's he's next model.
Eric plans to shoot more erotic photos and Anya is only too happy to be part of his new direction.
The photography scenes are extremely hot and beautifully written, I could visualise every moment.
So sexy! I wish I had one of the photos for real 😍

I received a copy of this book for honest review

I really liked the concept of the story, myself being an artist can understand what the author was doing and talking about.

I loved the characters but I thought Eric was a little to extreme with his emotions. But then again it goes to play with personality.

Anya with her being a fan of his since teen years and her doing anything for him it was almost like insta love.

Don't get me wrong when it's done right insta love works and I think Marissa did a good job.

I liked some of the ideas Eric used for his photos it was unique and interesting. ..Anya was sure brave I'd never do it lol

I read the original books Model Wanted back in 2014 and was so happy that Marissa had finished the story of Eric and Anya. This book is hot, very very hot. Eric Rutherford is looking for a special kind of model, definitely not your normal model. After placing an advert he found Anya Rhinne who knows all about Eric. And the story begins. This book is easy to read and I really enjoyed it and glad it finally has an ending.
I recieved this book as an ARC for an honest review.

When Anya answered an add looking for a model she didn't really know what to expect. The moment Anya stepped into his apartment he knew she was the one, but would she be willing to do it? This super sexy story begs to be read and does not disappoint!

This story take place in New York City, worldwide artist and photographer, is looking for a model for exotic erotica explicitly pictures for his own website and portfolio. The pictures are not for sale. Anya Rhinne college art student, answers the ad. When Eric see Anya for first time, she is perfect for his pictures. They having for feeling for each other, Anya already has feelings for Eric since she was younger. Anya show and tell Eric , he can everything from her. Eric wants Anya ,than he caution to the wind ,having hard heavy explosives sex. Can Eric work with his OCD and relationship with Anya during and after the photoshooting. Can fall into depression if he thinks he failed. Can Anya and Eric work out all obstacles and hurdles in work and their relationship. I recommend this book to everyone

Erotic shots

This book shows you how some people can think tastefully done erotic pictures can be considered born. There is nothing wrong with tastefully done pictures displaying a nude body. Everyone has the right to their opinion, but why do they have to make others feel bad about it?

Good story & hot read!

Sexy and steamy

Storyline was interesting, plot was straight forward if a little unbelievable , needed better proofreading, hard to read when there are obvious typos and incorrect character names in places.

Interesting

I wish that there was more interaction..talk between them. The sexy bits were good and Eric's "dark times" added a layer. But it could have been much better.
