Joe and his people in Tazewell have survived everything together. From the first days of the apocalypse to the recent breach in the wall, they have managed to survive it all. Ten years of the undead couldn't stop them from keeping the town safe and secure. Unfortunately, all the loose ends over the last decade are prepared to catch up with him in a big way. The enemies are at the gates, both human and undead, and they won't stop until the town is destroyed and all those within its sanctuary are dead.
Just an average Joe with an overactive imagination and a penchant for all things undead. Author of the Six Feet From Hell series as well as future works in progress.
They all die! Stuck with this series to finish the story. Well, it is over and I am still not invested in the characters and the fact they all died was more a thought that this was lazy story telling. A no win situation with no cheat to survive? You and I watched different Star Treks because Captain Kirk rigged the game. Months of advance notice of coming attacks and Joe did not come up with a cheat? The story does have the typical bad guy elements, good people just trying to make it, some original ideas , and fighting for family (at the beginning.) It ultimately was something to read just not at the top of my list. Others may enjoy the story more than I did. I was just disappointed in the turn the story took and the ending.
I know zombie apocalypse books are inherently about death and loss but the end of this was just too, too much. I won’t be reading any more installments.
