A Standalone Sci-Fi Alien Warrior Paranormal Romance
Bonus Sci-Fi Alien Warrior Romance included: CRAVING: A Terramates Novel by Lisa Lace!
The Ithilir people of planet Fora are an insular people by nature. Rumor has it that they are as cold as their planet, as coated with ice and unfeeling as the land they live on. That is rumor, but the nature of them as ruthless, strong warriors is fact. Anyone who thinks to invade their cloistered planet is met with fast and furious battle, and ultimately destroyed. For hundreds of years the Ithilir have kept to themselves, but now their gates are opened.
Why? One word. K’varot. A cruel and evil dictator who has declared war on the ice warriors and anyone he sees as weak enough to conquer. Before he moves to take the ice warriors out, he heads for Earth, planning on wiping out the humans there and using their planet as a place to train his armies. Cullen, one of the younger ice warriors is sent with the rest to Earth to warn them of what’s to come and to protect them.
Never before have the Ithilir concerned themselves with other races, but in order to keep K’varot from taking over their planet and many others, they’ll have to change their ways. It was just supposed to be a simple mission, but Cullen doesn’t expect what he finds on Earth, and he certainly doesn’t expect to be saddled with Sadie, a woman he saves from K’varot’s clutches and ends up taking a liking to, despite the urging of his people and the danger looming over them all.

Ashley West was raised in a small Midwest town. She has always been a big fan of all thing science fiction and paranormal. Her all-time favorite movie is the original Star Wars.
She started writing at a young age and has not looked back since. Ashley brings her worlds to life with vivid details and strong character development. On her spare time she enjoys painting , cooking, and curling up to her favorite books.
Very immature. I have to say that this book had less errors than most I've been reading lately; however, this book was not what the high ratings called for. It lacked maturity and action. There was a bonus book at the end, Craving by Lisa Lace, and I enjoyed that more than the headlined book I purchased. Shame, because I have read a couple books of her books already and found that this bonus book to be the better read. Not saying much guys. There seems to be a lot of that going on these days - lack of mature authors and errors.
This is the second installment in this series. Cullen is sent to earth to warn the humans about a threat coming to them. Sadie is one of the humans fighting to survive and the evil aliens starts going after Cullen's people they decide to help the humans and fight back. Cullen is drawn to Sadie and comes to her rescue. Will the be able to help each other safely and without any issues? Can they come out the other side as comrades?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
This is the first full book in the Elemental Warriors series (the first explains the origins of the warriors). I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the rest of the series. Cullen and Sadie are well developed, interesting characters from different worlds. This book moves quickly, has some great twists and turns, and a bit of a surprise ending. I loved it and cant wait for the next book in the series.
Completely lost interest in this one. I felt that the writing was a bit childish and nothing within the book held my attention. Now that I said that, you may like the book. Take a look at all the reviews and authors synopsis to make your decision.
Good sci fi romance. This has danger, drama and the possibility of finally finding love, even if it means with the super hot alien that has come to save Earth!
Sadie is a metal artist. Her friend Jasmine comes to visit just as her boyfriend dumps her and aliens land. Earth never gets a resistance together. Meanwhile Cullen belongs to an isolationist ice planet. His team is sent to earth as his king has discovered Earth is being used as a staging ground for an attack on their planet. Pretty vanilla romance with just a little of learning each other's sculptures. Not a whole ton of drama in the relationships or battles.
Book two. Kia belongs to the royal family, almost. His step father is the King. He is the primary battle commander, but his brother is the Prince. Marriage in their culture is done with a battle where the man proves his ability to defend and protect by proving himself stronger than the woman. If she can fight him off, she is free.
His planet is in a war with Earth. Both planets are being bankrupted by the continued war and life on Earth has become quite grim. When Jennifer trusts the wrong man, she is left destitute. Earth sues for peace and the King decides to cement the deal with a royal marriage, sending Kai to earth to find a bride. Earth sets up recruiting stations paying room, board and a stipend to women to study Kai's people and see if he would choose to marry them. Kia has no intention of getting married. The king has other plans. Jennifer just wants breathing room to get on her feet again. Royalty would NEVER chose her, but when Kai gets a whiff of her, she is his chosen one. What happens when a reluctant Jennifer is tossed into a complex interplanetary political realm? How does Kai win his reluctant bride? Does the peace treaty hold and what of the other planetary players? This was an interesting, complex and nuanced story. I would give it a 5 star rating.
I loved it! I received this book for an honest review.
Ithilirian ice elemental warriors are said to be as cold as their icy and snowy planet Fora... They are elite warriors, and can shape weapons from their own element... Ithilirians are very insular, but the king changes policy with the direct menace of K’varot. The gnarled grey skin frog like dictator is terrorizing the whole galaxy and sets his sights on Fora. For now, Earth is his first starget, doomed to be a strategic base of operation of his army, and Earthlings are vermins to torture and kill.
On Earth, the poor Sadie, an art blacksmith, crosses the path of the sinister jerk and ends starving and thirsty in a cage, for his enjoyment. Ice Warrior Cullen is part of an elite mission on frontline Earth to help and protect Earth.
I could not wait to know what happens to Sadie, Cullen, if K'varot (I love when vilains are real vilains !) conqueers Earth. There is no frustrating cliffhanger but the well thought story leads to the next book... It was a real page-turner and I love the characters. A very good Ashley West, for sure...
Bit a tricky rating here what with the fact that two books were included in what I bought. The main book, Chilled, the one I actually intentionally purchased, was a disappointment. It was abrupt, it well thought out, and self professed to be anti-climactic. When I got to the end I thought there had to be something more than the jumble I had just read as the book was only at 40% and ending in the most ridiculous way. I was surprised that the 'bonus story' was longer than the original. Surprised and deeply pleased.
Craving was excellent fun. It had twists and turns, politics and military tactics, alliances and double crosses, all told around a marriage alliance that was fiery and fun. I really enjoyed reading that book and will be looking up Lisa Lace and hoping for a few other such Terrmates books!
Ithilir is a planet with very cold people their worriers are strong and can wheeled any thing into a cold weapon to protect their people then one day the prince calls the best of the best worriers to go and protect Earth and they are shocked but if they do not go and protect Earth and the people on it the evil K’varot. is declaring war on the people of Ithilir and anyone that stands in his way and he is on Earth now and taking it as he pleases he takes a women as a pet on earth this was a awesome book I could not put it down the very first page was wow and it kept getting better and better you could see this happen on Earth for sure keep it up I go it free for an honest review loved it so much. I received this book in exchange for an honest review I enjoyed the story it was well written fast moving and full of action the chemistry between the hero and heroine was intense. But it did feel like the ending was a bit rushed I would have liked a bit more detail about the final battle. Having said that I really enjoyed this story and would love to have more elemental warriors stories and would definitely recommend this book.
I received this book on an arc, but I find I am coming to like the Alien Romance Genre. Interesting and likeable characters, there is always a little plot twist to keep you interested but not so long you'll get bored.
It's a story that has action, mystery, and steamy romance with awesome characters? This book will not disappoint in any way and can't wait to read the next?
