Complete 5 book series! Contains the first five books of the City Shifters: the Pride series. Follow the five lion shifter Chase brothers on the hunt for true love, as they discover five independent, feisty heroines, evil villains, mysterious pasts, underground fights, family, friends, and happily ever after (times five)!
Thrill of the Chase -- Feisty chef Natalia holds her own against corrupt restaurant managers and loan sharks until alpha Logan Chase purchases her restaurant and saves her life. When she learns Logan is actually a lion shifter, Nat is ready to run for the hills. Will their love affair sizzle, or are they a recipe for disaster?
Chasing Trouble -- Half-medusa Eloise Deacon has two days to rescue a hyena princess or pay back ten grand in ransom money, with no idea how to do either until Benedict Chase bails her out of jail. He even sticks around after she steals his wallet, his clothes, and his heart. But her half-medusa magic could end up freezing them both if Eloise can't figure out who wants her dead.
Storm Chaser -- Leopard shifter Sophia will go round for round with anyone in the illegal underground fights, even Atticus Chase. The only problem is, she doesn't know she's a shifter. Unless she learns to control her leopard, her life is forfeit. With Atticus barely able to control his lion at the thought of losing her, they might not survive to find out what else is hidden in Sophia's mysterious past...
Cut to the Chase -- Wolf alpha Ruby O'Shea fends off the advances of most male shifters, but finds her match in Carter Chase, the quiet lion shifter. She's in charge of her pack, her bar, and her life, but when Carter finally gets her in bed, Ruby's only too willing to give up a little control...
Chasing the Dream -- Isobel survived years of experimentation in a medical lab and losing her mate young, never dreaming that happily ever after was in her cards -- until Edgar Chase rescues her from an auction and helps her dream again.
five separate novels, five separate tales of five brothers who are lion shifters trying to establish their pride and find their mates.
I have to say each one is very different as to how they find their mates and who they actually are!
Each one can be read as a stand alone but strongly re commended to read them in a series. especially the stories of Atticus and Sophia , and Edgar and Ivy as those two have a connection.
not too heavy to read so perfect for winding down times or beach reads.
im a wolf shifter lover thru and thru but the thought of making a guy rumble with a purr is intriguing!!!!! hahaaa!!!!! worth picking up!!
If you're into paranormal romances- this is a Must Read!
OMG! This was so good! I laughed, I cried, and I was so sorry it ended! There was a bit of a cliffhanger ending so I was thrilled to find out that I had one of the three holiday Pride stories so I could keep the story going and find out if my questions were answered. You just HAVE to get this series but be prepared- the fourth book is definitely a 'three tissue' story at the least but remember, it's a romance so there is a very happy ending. I'm definitely looking into more of Layla Nash's City Shifters series. Happy reading.
Fell in love with is series from the start of the first book in it, so much was happening and so much love for the five brothers that they each had one another, could not wait for each brother to find their mate and what Mayes they are, never a dull moment with these ladies around not going to tell you what each of their mates are but you will be surprised and love them to.. I just got the 6 book in the series and can't wait to start it, just know it will be a 10 star book also
I have never read a book on Lion shifters and was fascinated at these stories. Totally loved the main characters and their significant mates. I couldn't put the book down to see what was coming next and was so disappointed when it finished lol. It's my first book from this author and will definitely look for more. I highly recommend this book, so go on a fantastical journey and enjoy.
I fell in love with this series with book one and happily followed (stalked) the author for more. I am not always in the mood for a shifter romance but when you find a good one you treasure the author that brought it to life, and that is one of the good ones.
Thrill of the Chase Chasing Trouble Strom Chaser Cut to the Chase Chasing the Dream Bonus review of additional stores for the Pride A Chase Christmas A Mother’s Pride
Thrill of the Chase is the first book and is the oldest and alpha’s book Logan Chase. He is the alpha of one of the few lion prides in the world and his brothers and himself aren’t getting any younger. They meet up at a restaurant to discuss plans to find mates as soon as possible to increase the pride. When Logan sends his perfectly prepared stake back for the 3rd time. Chef Natalia Spencer has had the big it and the ensuing argument is a delight to read. Logan is troubled that he can’t get the chef out of his mind and comes up with what he thinks are some clever ways to catch her again. Little does he know that she is in danger that he has taken on as well because she is his mate, he just has to figure out how to tell her he’s a lion shifter. This book introduces the other Chase brothers, one of the two wolf packs in the city, and some seedy loan sharks. The cast of characters is so interesting that you want to know their stories right away.
Chasing Trouble follows the third brother Benedict Chase the family’s and corporations lawyer as he bails out his younger brother and finds himself drawn to a troublemaker Eloise. Eloise is in trouble her best friend is missing the money she was supposed to drop off for the kidnapping scheme they ran is gone and she is in deep with the local hyena pack. Benedict wants nothing more than to help her but she can’t trust that, no one helps anyone that’s the rule of the streets. Oh did I mention that she is half Medusa? Benedict’s brothers so enjoy rescuing him when Eloise leaves him naked and without his wallet on a few occasions but he wouldn’t have her any other way but his.
Storm Chaser picks up with Atticus’s penchant for underground fighting. The fourth brother finds himself needing to fight to control his lion half, itching for another fight for the night he is talked into fighting a girl Sophia Frazier. Sophia is a fighter in more ways than she can even understand. An orphan and alone she teaches women self-defense and fights for money in underground rings. When their fight gets interrupted Atticus chases after her to find that she is a snow leopard shifter, sadly she has no idea and doesn’t know how to think in her leopard form. Atticus finding her sets political measures in place and a ticking clock. Sophia has to learn to merge her halves or she will be deemed too dangerous to survive by the newly formed Council. Looking into Sophia’s past also brings in the Private Investigator the Chase’s use and a new problem lurking for the shifter world.
Cut to the Chase follows the youngest brother Carter Chase and his long time crush on Ruby O’Shea, Natalia’s friend from book 1 and an alpha of one of the two wolf packs in the city. Ruby shares her alpha status with her twin brother and they are in constant struggles with the other wolf pack in the city. How does Ruby find a mate that won’t try to take over and push her out of her alpha status. Carter doesn’t want to run her pack he just wants a chance with her. It’s the quiet ones you have to watch out for they are often the kinkiest of the lot.
Chasing the Dream cut me to pieces. Edgar Chase the 2nd oldest brother and their security chief has watched all his brothers find love, knowing that he will never find his mate because he already lost her in a tragic car accident years ago. He agrees to check out on the Auction for the Council. The Auction is supposed to be a place where shifter families with single children can meet and hopefully mate up. But there is a steadier underbelly and Edgar is on the lookout for them. With the help of the Alpha of the bear pack in the city, they find a room where unwilling women are being sold. Ivy Perterson is on the auction block drugged and abused when Edgar finds her fighting spirit call to his own. The connections in this book will tug at your heartstrings.
Bonus Reviews A Chase Christmas Natalia and Logan are expecting their first baby as the holidays roll around. Logan and his brothers go out to find the perfect tree for the holidays when they find three little wolf shifter cubs in the snow. Bringing them home they ask Ruby for her help and Natalia gets to try out her mother skills while also learning that her soon to be Mother-in-law is coming for the holidays and her kitchen is in remodel from when Logan broke the marble island and threw it into her ovens. All the warm and fuzzy holiday feels. A perfect read for Bookmas
A Mother’s Pride As Natalia’s due date approaches, Logan worries that she won’t survive the birth of shifter babies, and when complications start it might be best to sedate Logan. Eloise is worrying that she hasn’t gotten with child, but has been keeping her worries from Benedict. When he catches on he comes up with a way to show her that there are different types of mothers. Ivy is called on to make the hardest choice that might put her out of the family she has just found and leave the man who has made her whole.
Heartbreaking and heartmending, the Chase men find their mates and correct the wrong things that hurt those women.
These stories are way better than the usual shifter tales, deeper and with a stronger sense of world building and history. They make you want to meet them all, and wish that that was possible, because these are strong people, not just characters in a series of books.
I can't decide who I love more in this set. All the alpha males and the women who completes them are too loveable. Logan with his frustrations, Edgar with his quiet pain, Benedict with his sense of humor, Atticus with his control issues, and Carter with his zen makes this series one of the best I've read. Don't pass this one up!!!
A great set of books. Each had it's own unique story to be told. Had laughter in them as well as some obstacles to overcome. Edgar and Ivys story was particularly heartbreaking. Thank you so much for the pleasure of reading them. Going to read ' A Chase Christmas.' Thx.
The Chase brothers are wonderful! I love each story of them meeting their mates! I do not think I have a favorite couple they are all special and different in their own way! If you like shifter books, these are a must read!
This is really unique, emotional and entertaining series of shifter romances. I enjoyed reading all of them but I liked Edgar and Isobel's tale the best. I recommend this series for all shifter romances fans.
Each brother got his HEA. Lots of sexy times but there are unfinished subplots from every book. Since the series continues I am hopeful they are solved so I can be happy.
What a wonderful way to pass my time with these brothers and their mates. Each story is so unique and different from each other. If you love 💘 reading about shifters pick this series.
I fell in love with the characters in this book. This is a complete series of books in one box set. You will fall in love with Logan, Natalia, and all the rest. There's a lot of strong characters in here. Romance, drama, love, and family in this book.
Don't usually give shifter tales a 5, but this series is worth it! There are sex scenes but it works into the plot line! And that is an exciting plot! Most of the books can be stand alone stories, but definitely better read together! Great read!
Just finished the first 5 books in this series and purchased the 6th. You have a nice blend of romance and action as each of the 5 Chase brothers find then have protect and win their mates.
Join the Chase brothers as they find mates and futures. Let their stories remind you, if you live in the past you are letting it still hurt and control you. Thank you for Kindle Unlimited.
Truly enjoyed this series! Loved the characters and their stories! And, each book gave updates on the couples from the previous stories. Truly gives the reader the sense of family and community that I so enjoy when reading a series!
So enjoyed this Pride complete set. Loved following all of the characters and brothers throughout the series. A great read I am not usually a paranormal reader but did enjoy this. Narration was awesome too.
Five separate books all detailing the lives of the lion shifter brothers. Each book is an amazing telling of love and strength. They are great reminders that help and new love can be just around the corner if you keep moving forward.
This series is so amazing! Angst, love, heroism and sacrifice and so much more! Anyone who is a romantic or who lives the supernatural would regret missing this read.
This is the kind of series that I love; a series in which the family members, extended family or friends find their mates &/or the loves of their lives.
Book 1 - Thrill of the Chase - when Logan Chase the oldest brother not only meets his match but also finds a mate within her.
Book 2 - Chasing Trouble - when Benedict the lawyer in the family meets his mate & she trouble because you don't want to see her or look at her when she's mad.
Book 3 - Storm Chaser - is about the bad boy fighter of the family who meets his mate & match in a fight match & she beats him.
Book 4 - Cut to the Chase - is about Carter (the youngest one & boy do you need to watch out for those quiet & calm ones) & Ruby (the local Alpha of one of the wolf packs & Natalia's BFF); especially when. Ruby finds out how long Carter's been in love with her & never said anything.
Book 5 - Chasing the Dream - Edgar who lost his mate when they were young & didn't e ever think that he would get a 2nd chance at love.
All the heroines are strong women who have had tough times in their lives.
All I can say is this was an excellent series & that I will definitely be reading more of this author.
Five stars for each and every book and five stars for the whole
This is my first time reading any of Layla Nash and as soon as I finished the first book in this I sent her a fan letter. Yeah, I did the whole fangirling thing in an email.
So a review. Each book is amazing, definitely better if read in order because there are some character development on previous books that makes the character development in the current book all the better. I loved following the Chases and the women they love. The women are all just feisty fun characters. I think my favorite is Eloise, with Nat a close second.
The world development leaves room for so many more books and I am looking forward to reading the Den books next.
One request I would make as a reader: give Miles a book!!! I LOVE him, but I love asshole men, so there's that. Give him a book! Please please please!!!
I'm a fan for life and will one click this author forever.
