Crystals: A Fiona Kendrick Mystery

Rate this book
If Erma Bombeck had collaborated with John Updike to write The Witches of Eastwick , they might have come up with this swift and sexy story. It's about two friends who've had just about enough of a long strain of bad luck. Or has it really been bad luck? Could someone have been jinxing them? When their luck gets even worse they decide to take matters into their own hands. And what comes more naturally to women than a little witchcraft? But is "double, double" worth the "toil and trouble"? Maybe--if it can help them find out who has been fooling around with their karma.

I like a good witchy story. This one was good if you like them too.not what I thought at all especially from the description, I wonder somtimes if that is why some books do poorly, they aren't properly represented. This turned into erotica at the mid point of the book out of nowhere didnt bother me just a heads up for others to know. I find it weird also considering I found it in a children's section of the bookstore .again poorly represented for what it is.but I did like the storyline enough to want to know the outcome and I was pleased with that and could see how it was left open for a part 2. And a saved a 12 year old witch ritual sex

I bought this book years ago and started it, got really sick and never finished it. I always thought I liked it, I love cats, bookstores, The Bay Area, herbs and witches to an extent. Over the years I have kept it and never came across a glowing review for it. I think it was a little over the top for me. That is the only reason I can think of for not liking something that contains so many of my intrests.

I now realize why there aren't any more Fiona Kendrick Books, even though this one looks like it was meant to be the first of a series.

Read this years ago. As I recall, it was pretty silly, but I did finish.
