Photographer Emberly uses her talents to take pictures of women to build up their self esteem. She doesn't have time for an uptight businessman who thinks her work is a joke. Seth needs a picture taken to be on display for a dedication he has to attend. His coworker knows Emberly & convinces Seth to let her take the picture so it's not the same old picture everyone has. Emberly can't stand him putting down her work but they reach a compromise. He will let her take the picture & be her plus one at a wedding if she attends the dedication with him.
Great writing! I love that the characters feel attraction but actually don't seem to like each other at the beginning. They had to spend time together. The characters were well developed & seemed to fir well into the Dare to Love world. The sarcastic wit they shared as they fought the attraction was great!! The snarky factor was high!! I totally enjoyed this book & think everyone else will too!

on't underestimate this short read. Regardless of it's length, the author does a great job outlying the story and developing the characters.
Both were sweet but had a feisty side. I really enjoyed the verbal sparing these two had.
I'm a fan of was this author and was happy to read a new book from her. I was also provided a copy for a honest review

Really enjoyed this!! Emberly and Seth were amazing together with their humor and banter not to mention the over the top chemistry between the two. This is a quick entertaining read that kept me chuckling and awwing all the way through. I would definitely recommend this one.

Emberly is a ball of fire wrapped up in sarcasm and hilarity. The stuff that comes out of this woman's mouth will either completely offend you or have you laughing out loud. I'm guilty of the latter. She likes to call things as she sees them and she has absolutely no filter.
"I'll have you know, I'm a great roomie in a hotel. I won't make a peep if you slap the salami after catching a glimpse of my side boob."
Seth was interested in Emberly the moment he saw her, but once he discovers her profession he'll form his own bias opinions and in doing so he'll reap her wrath for them, especially when he needs her to put those skills to work for him.
"His life had gone from, head down, nose to the grindstone simple to three-hundred pound, seventy-year-old drag queen, giving a lap dance, in short-shorts, with his old, wrinkled balls falling out the leg hole wrong."
A Daring Proposition is a laugh out loud fun and entertaining read. It puts two unlikely people together, throws in a proposition neither can resist, and tops it off with a sizzling and intense romance. Of course there's the drama that will put a little snag in their romance, but good story doesn't have drama. At least the intentions come from a good place...and it's not his wallet.

This is my first book by this author and it won't be my last. I loved her writing style and even more the story of Em and Seth. What an unlikely couple and proof that opposites do attract. A wittiy, outspoken boudior photographer and an uptight IT genius. Well they do say that opposites attract. They meet when Seth comes to her for a photograph shoot for a picture he needs for an event in his honor. The chemistry is immediate and they Em makes him a proposition that she will attend the event with him if he will be her plus one for a wedding. Agreed and they are hot and heavy, until... No spoiler here. They were so snappy back and forth with each other and it was fun to read their interactions. a well written book with a cute plot and entertaining characters.

Another great read from Casey Hagen. From the very beginning the pace was fast and it didn't slow down. I loved the "snarky" commentary from Emberly and the reception it got from Seth. This was hilarious, witty, sexy and dynamic. I loved it.
I can't wait for the next instalment in the Dare to Love series.

This was my first book by Casey Hagen and I enjoyed it. Wouldn't we all like to find a Seth for ourselves and also be as sure as ourselves as Emberly (Em) is. At least she tries to be. This is not a real long book so it is a fun fast read with a HEA. I will be looking for more books by Casey.

I voluntarily read the arc copy of this book. I really enjoyed reading this one. Absolutely love the smart-ass Emberley. Lots of funny parts that made me giggle, yet the chemistry between Seth and Emberly was amazing. Great book!

This was a quick read. This book was my first book by this author. It was well written and very enjoyable. I really enjoyed not only the storyline but loved the sassy characters. Very glad I read!

The one thing he knows is that Emberly is a very sexy, provocative woman with a sarcastic tongue, and he wants to get to know her better. Emberly needs a plus one for the wedding of her best friend and Seth needs a date for the dedication. It's a win win situation, until feelings for each other start to surface. The feelings they are starting to develop for each other scare the living daylights out of Emberly. They both have scars from their personal family demons that must be faced. Will they be able to find true love or allow the past to rule them.
This was a fabulous novella. I can't wait to read more from this author.

A Daring Proposition is my first book by Casey Hagen and I am glad that I read it.
Em is a boudoir photographer. She is good at her job and is very passionate at what she does. Her main goal is to make women feel good about themselves not matter their size, color, etc. She is also has a crude sense of humor and is very forward. She is hired by a client to help her friend, Seth, in getting some above standard photos for a dedication at his former school. There is an instant attraction between Em and Seth, but they won't admit that they are drawn to each other. Instead, they trade some rather humorous barbs back and forth.
Em offers Seth a proposition or trade off to accompany each other to a couple of upcoming events. Not one to back down, Seth accepts and begins a battle of wits with Em. How will Seth and Em react once they follow through with their promises? Will they act on their feelings after they meet their obligations?
A Daring Proposition is a good quick read. Seth and Em are hot. I LOVED Em's sassy attitude. The banter between Seth and Em was hilarious and made the book so much better. A hot, yet fun read.

Once you read a Casey Hagen story, it's hard to forget. She writes about real life issues that are not always pretty by giving them her special touch of empathy with a hint of comic relief. That keeps the story grounded in humanity. Her editions to Kindle Worlds prove how much of a chameleon she really is. She blends in with her ability to conquer a setting and add her voice to an already popular series and get herself heard. Seth and Emberly are different on the surface but share similarities underneath. Both have struggled with feelings of insecurity. Emberly has chosen to face hers head on by helping others with self esteem issues. Seth inside still feels like that scared little boy who wasn't good enough despite the success he has. A Daring Proposition is a feast for the senses with it's sensuality and emotional overload. A powerful message in a tiny package delivers the best kind of surprise.

Dear light of heaven! It may not be a long book but it packs one heck of a punch. It so smoothly transitions from snarky to sexy, funny to poignant, that as a reader, you're never quite sure what's coming around the next page turn. With a light hand and a deft touch, this book tackles some pretty heavy family drama and a couple of overlooked social issues: abandonment, addiction, expectations, look-ism, and bullying just to name the biggest of the bunch. It's all so seamlessly blended in to who Em and Seth are and what they do that these really big issues don't overwhelm the story. I loved the chemistry between Seth and Em. Her take-no-prisoners attitude sparked some fascinating sparing matches with this geek-done-good. I hope to see them make cameo appearances in future works because they've worked their way into my heart and memory.

I really enjoyed this book by Casey Hagen. It is a novella so be aware it is not to long but for me the perfect length to enjoy right before relaxing and going to sleep. I really got into this book so quickly.
Emberly Blair is a photographer who does mainly Boudoir style photos. She is hired, not by choice to do the photo of a past nerd or geek Seth. He is super hot now but as a past nerd you know what that means or if you don't you will once you read the book. Emberly has such a quirky, snarky personality in this book that I just want to meet her in person and have her take pictures of me for my hubs.
This is a great novella and one I highly recommend. Now i want to read more from this Kindle World and see if rest of the world matches up to Casey Hagen's.

Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this book. I liked the characteristics of Em and Seth, but Em's crassness became too much. I can't understand why any guy or woman would want that from a significant other. I didn't feel the connection build between the characters. When Em said she was his, for life for the first time, I was confused. They had barely spent time together and no information was given to the reader that they had gotten to know one another. What was up with the interrupted wedding? It had a lot of lead up and drama and then just breezed through so quickly without explanation. I did not like the ending at all. Em and Seth's relationship should be better and mean more than a public massacre.

I loved Emberly and Seth! They had such a great chemistry. She is a photographer noted for her boudoir sessions and he is a security systems guru. Em does a photo shoot for Seth to try and capture the successful, confident man he has become not the insecure chubby nerd he was in high school. The sparks start flying and before they know it...they have agreed to spend weekends together "helping" each other out with social obligations. It is pretty predictable as far as stories go but still so worth the read if for nothing else than to enjoy the snarky conversations. Thank you NK Blog tours for the ARC.

His staff knows of Emberly's work & suggests he goes to her, but he feels her work's nothing more than smoke and mirrors. At first they can\t stand each other, but they develop a friendship & decide to help each other out by being their +1's. This leads to some hot steamy scenes & they believe life can't get better, that's until Seth does something....Will Emberly be able to forgive him? will they get an HEA? I really enjoyed this book.

Emberly was an extremely talented, crazy creative bedroom photographer. She brought the steamy, sizzle, and heat to her photos. Seth was this wealthy genius, philanthropist that felt Em's work was nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Each wanting to prove to be more and go beyond their first impressions offer something in trade. These things escalate to so much more than either was ready for. Of course someone makes a mess up and the good they they had changes. I enjoyed this read. I do want more from Casey. She set the page on fire with Em and Seth.

A Daring Proposition by Casey Hagen....Wow, another great book from one of my favorite authors. I know when I pick up a book by her, I will be lost in Casey Hagen world and what a great place to go and escape the real world. I loved the characters Emberly and Seth they were very well written and I enjoyed seeing their stories unfold. This is a must read, so make sure you buy this one. I was given a complimentary book for an honest review.

This was my first book I read by Casey Hagen and it won't be my last. I loved the characters in this book, especially Emberly. I loved her sense of humor and that she is a strong female character. She held her own with millionaire Seth. This book kept me hooked from start to finish. I'm looking forward to my next read from Casey Hagen.

Loved it!
Emberly is sassy and snarky and so much fun to read. Seth is the perfect match for her. At first he comes off uptight but he actually can be quite witty. I devoured this book. The only thing I hated was that it wasn't longer!

Seth and em are like two sides of the same magnet trying to occupy the same space. Having two people with the same attitude just doesn't work but when they both start to talk a little more their banter might just turn into more than a little fun
