2 1/2 "Very Tricky" Stars!
Well, This wasn't terribly bad or anything, just not terribly good either. Not much to it other than some pretty "magical" sex scenes; and a bit of awkward phrasing. I'm rounding up to 3 stars for the cover alone. Nice, very nice...

Sexy fun and magical tale of a rebellious bad boy warlock and a naughty witch getting tangled up in their desirous schemes only to find true love. 4 stars!

Willow, a young chosen witch was to mate with a promising warlock to bring about new birth(s) in the witch/warlock realm but before she followed her destiny, hard-headed Willow planned to use forbidden witchcraft on a unsuspecting human name Austin who just so happened to be anything but human. Magic backfired and cute Austin was actually the great warlock's Azrael banished and wilful rakish son, Damien DeWinter and gets them both in a world of magical sexual trouble.
This was a great quick read because there was so much going on in this story that left me saying clever move!

Oh this was a fun story: witches and warlocks, magical potions and energies flowing everywhere and a master manipulation of the two who dared to defy convention and engage in some seriously steamy sex that will even leave readers breathless.
Novitiate witch Willow is days away from her initiation into the coven, able to cast any spell she chooses and away from the restraints imposed on one in her position. The handsome barista at her favorite coffee shop has stirred her not inconsiderable lust, and she determines to ensnare him and have her way.
"Austin" is not all he seems, however, and the little witch has met her match in a warlock that is infamous for his disregard for convention. What the two share besides and amazing sexual chemistry that steamed up my ereader screen is a fearless belief in their magical powers, and a willingness to experiment with and get lost in the sensations.
So lost, in fact, that the appearance of the Grand Wizard was slightly more than anticlimactic, much to his great distress and the reader's hilarity. Again, Sabrina York has created a short novella that doesn't skimp on the characters or intrigue even as it manages to create some seriously intriguing sexual cravings. Yes, this is a short, but it is a fun short with lots of action and twists that make it all the more fun to read.

I was lucky enough to get an advanced peek at TRICKERY before it ever sold and it was the book that I continued to bug Sabrina about, asking for updates and if she'd heard back from her editor yet. For whatever reason, this story stuck with me.
A young witch, learning the ways of her coven, is tempted to seek out the pleasures of the flesh with a mortal. Just once before she's married off in something of an arranged marriage. Little does she know that she's not the one with a bit of magic and a hidden agenda.

A fun, magical story, starring Willow the witch , who breaks the rules by using magic to seduce Austin. But who is caught under whose spell, for unbeknown to her Austin is a very powerful warlock. The plot thickens with some nice surprises. A lovely feel-good quickie.

Willow is just days away from being able to cast any spell she pleases without the pesky restraints set upon her by the coven. She has her sites set on putting a spell on the local hottie that whips up her fav latte at the coffee shop. But not all things are as they appear, and Willow may be the recipient of a form of magical trickery.
Sabrina York packs this quick paranormal read full of hawt smexxiness, as well as her signature snark! Highly recommended!

I received this from the author and I must say I did really enjoy it. The story was well done but man the world was crazy. I enjoyed it but it does push the limits for me. Be prepared its not your classic romance story.

This was a magically erotic, and highly charged little story!
Willow is a novice witch on the cusp of taking a warlock to be her mate, so that she can conceive a child. However, she’s got her eye on a mortal, Austin, and she wants him enough to illegally use her magic powers to ensnare him.
Unfortunately, there’s more to Austin than meets the eye! He is actually an exiled warlock, who has been scheming to make Willow his and using his own powers to ensnare her, as an act of rebellion against his powerful father.
“In a gushing tug like the undertow before a massive tsunami, everything – her soul, her mind, her breath, her power – was sucked from her body until she was nothing but an empty shell. But before she could cry out…everything washed back in….And in the raging tide, in the flood of emotions and thoughts and power and enchantment rushing back into her, there was a piece of him.”
Desire and emotions run high. I loved the writing. It was a simple plot with a satisfying little twist! Loved it!

This is a short story about witches, warlocks and the ceremony of making a baby; and what happens when the "universe" is conspiring to bring two people together.
Ok, that was the romanticized review. In all honesty, just get the book because it is a steaming, smutty book, with some humour involved and also because it is a short 1 hour read. If you need a short smutty pick me up, this is it right here. But i especially loved how Damien was the rebel, and didn't want anyone seeing Willow even when they were on the altar.
It was my first book by Sabrina York, i would definitely love to read more from her.

Trickery by Sabrina York is a fast and fun read. This book is 5 alarm fire hot, so if you don't like the sexy stuff, this might not be for you. It's Adults Only. Willow and Damien's story is loaded with quirky characters, humor, drama and magic. Trickery is a fairly short read, perfect for those with limited time for reading. Witches and warlocks are not my usual choice in reading material, but I have a feeling Sabrina York could make the back of a cereal box fun to read. I enjoyed Trickery and look forward to my next book by Sabrina York. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Love to read the enchanting story about a young witch named Willow and how she became entranced with Warlock named Damien. As Willow was being trained, she was to be the next witch to be impregnated by a warlock to give birth to the next great witch. Yet she met Damien, and fell for his human form. He led her to his room and seduced her. Willow and Damien are hot together and the sex is other worldly. Thank you Sabrina for another incredible read.

Magically hot story! I loved the twists. Willow thinks she is seducing Damien, who is calling himself Austin. Damien thinks he is seducing Willow in order to go against his father's wishes. Both are headstrong, into bucking the rules, and enjoy having fun. I thoroughly enjoyed this novella and recommend it.

Love how they both think they are manipulating the other when in truth, they are being manipulated by fate and their elders. Action packed from beginning to end.

Magic knows no boundaries
I was taken on a magical journey with fiery passion. The quickest way to get two people to do something is to forbid it. The witches have a lot riding on this match of a witch just discovering herself and a warlock that some have written off......so he thinks. I recommend you read this book and a take a journey into the hot passions of magic

Loved this great fun read! A super sexy warlock and a seductive
witch, make for one fantastic story. I loved Willow and Damien,
and really enjoyed their story. I wish it had been longer because
I would have liked to learn more of their world. Definitely recommend.
