This comic has completely taken over my nighttime routine. It's like... I have to read at least one issue before I go to sleep. Is it good? Don't know yet. Compels me though.
Good God, am I allowed to unsign myself from this? It's been creeping by as a genre I haven't been able to put a name to. And now I think it might be horror. I like this series a lot because it is so hard to label. It's been impossible to relate to the protagonist on any level and the moment I start to, everything changes. And it doesn't even feel out of the story's character. I am very much liking this run, but it also leaves me weird and uncomfortable. Good job O'Malley.
Holy Sh*t, I think Caroline is way creepy than Charlene and Lottie is probably now dealing coolgirl differently. Snotgirl #5 hit the jackpot and the story is getting somewhere than before. I give this 4.3 out of 5 stars.
Disappointing. Maybe these are better read back to back in a graphic novel instead of every month? I keep hoping for deeper meaning (like Bryan's awesome book Seconds) or at least funnier dialogue (like Scott Pilgrim) but it's just not there. Art is still top notch. Hopefully the next arc is better.
