In the epic conclusion of The War Chronicles, Lirak must fulfill the Kul-Wi prophecy. If he fails, the Faceless One will send an army of sentinels to erase all trace of humanity from the world, and begin another blood-soaked Age. What the gods don't know is that Lirak plans to end their savage game forever. But to succeed he'll first have to overcome his own guilt and fear.
I hated this book. This book literally focuses on his whining and the only cure is ridiculous. This book completely ruins the story which could have been good if not for the incessant whining.
Also one of the central characters of this book is so empty. I can only think of two defining characteristics to describe her, she is a healer, and she has some lustful connection with the main character.
I read all three of the War Chronicles, and found the second and third to be the strongest of the series. This last installment, Warlord, really wrapped things up nicely. One of the best fantasy series I've read in a while.
