This book may not give you a spiritual insight (or maybe, who knows?) This is a book about the science of mindfulness: what is mindfulness? why do we need it? what are the benefits? and how do we practice it? This book, and mindfulness itself, is not just about meditation, but also about eating, yoga, exercises and daily routines. Not in details, but in general, and bite-size, easy-to-digest chapters.
Very informative and I will take some the advice in it. It teaches how to balance our lives and live in the present moment. It also alerts to the danger of bad habits and the impact in our lives. It gives some sound advice of how to lead a productive life in order to attain mental stability.
