I'm not sure what I expected from this, but it wasn't a glorified glossary and stats for each character. I enjoyed the page or two intro where the author talked about her inspirations, and I enjoyed the last page or two with the scene from Candey's POV. The 100 or so pages in between was a let down.

Unnecessary in my eyes

Don’t know what the purpose of this was. Most was scenes repeated from the first 4 books. The interviews were a nice touch but I could have spent my time and money better!
