Who Doesn’t love a sexy cowboy? Now make that sexy cowboy a Master Dominant and give him expert skills with a bull whip and an amazing since of humor and I think we will all fall in love !!
I love that Red decided to tell this part of the Brie series from Master Anderson’s point of view. It was a great change and a chance to fill like we were getting a little closer with this sexy as heck Dom. We get to see what this wonderful man is thinking and feeling and start to realize that even sexy scary Dom’s have insecurities and hurt emotions. I think this book just made me fall a little more in love with one of my favorite Masters. I can’t wait to read the next installment from Tono’s POV !!

Red thrills us once again with another installment in the Brie series, this time with A Cowboy's Heart revolving around one Master Brad Anderson, close friend of Thane Davis and new Headmaster of the Submissive Training Center. This time around, Red brings us the story from Brad's POV, giving us insights for the first time into what makes him tick, what his thoughts and desires are, what he wants out of life.
Brad has a lot going on in this book. He's packing up his house in Colorado and handing over the reins of his Colorado Training Center to his trusted friend Samantha Clark. On his journey to California he makes an overnight stop in Las Vegas and meets a very alluring redhead who reminds him very much of the one woman he loved and lost. His connection to her is deep and it makes him wish for a future with this woman who calls to his soul. But a future isn't possible right? I mean, he's the new Headmaster of the training center which requires him to actively participate in the training of submissives.
He arrives in LA and throws himself headfirst into the training center and trying to move on from Shey but Brad is put to the test when he receives the devastating news that Sir Thane, his closest and dearest friend has been in a terrible plane crash. He does everything he can to be there for Brie, but the deep affection he's always felt for her puts him on notice to keep an emotional distance from her. On top of that, Thane's crazy half sister Lilly is stirring up trouble for Thane and threatening Brie.
Brad is stretched in too many directions and to top it off ends up in an accident of his own. Miserable and feeling helpless he reaches out to the woman he knows he can't have but can't stop thinking about. When Shey surprises him in LA, Brad starts wondering if he can in fact have the woman he wants so desperately?
Red delivers each of these stories with so much emotion that I can't help but become invested in them from beginning to end. I've always felt a soft spot for Brad after he suffered such heartbreak earlier in his life. I've always secretly prayed he would find someone to love but it was going to take a very special woman to capture his heart. I feel like there is still much to learn about young Shey Allen in the coming books.
The beloved Tono Nosaka makes a last minute appearance in this book when Brad calls him in to look after Brie while he's laid up from his accident. It will be interesting to see if Nosaka will be able to be an emotional support for Brie without overstepping the boundaries with Brie. I can't wait to see how his story will play out with his upcoming book, Breathe With Me.

This book, although brought in a new perspective, the one of Master Anderson and not on the one we are used to be the one of Brie, brought it's load of tears and touching moments. I cried many times reading this book and I am sure that you will as well.
I found this book both different and touching to the rest of the series that I am used to. It was just as powerful I think. It was nice to see the viewpoint of another main character while all this craziness is going on.
You will find this book different, but I am convinced that you will adore it just the same. Now, I have no idea what book 12 will offer, but I am convinced that it will bring it's load of surprises and emotional scenes. See you there.

A Cowboy’s Heart is book 11 in Red Phoenix’s Brie’s Submission series and even though Enchant Me left us on a major cliff hanger I absolutely love where she is taking this series. So far the first 10 books have only been told by Brie’s point of view but in A Cowboy’s Heart it is only told from Master Anderson’s point of view. At the beginning of this book it does back track to things in the past from his point of view but quickly catches up to were we were left off in Enchant Me. I can understand where everyone is on pins and needles wanting answers however I believe the way this series is going is absolutely perfect!!! To fully understand where things are going we have to learn more about the other characters and who doesn’t want more of the mysterious cowboy that is Master Anderson!!!

This book is from master Brad Andersen's point of view, and is almost deceiving about being a continuation to Brie's submission but it is and needs to be read after book 10.
If you read the rise of the dominants you met Brad during his college years with Sir Davis and Rystar. Brad has a big heart, and although he hides it even from his friends, he wants to find his soulmate. But he Also does not want to be hurt again. He takes Brie under his wing after Thanes accident, but when he does she is close to rock bottom. Thanes sister Lilly reappears and puts major doubt in Bries heart about the incident in China. Can Brad find his soulmate and can Brie come through her Trials???

I wasn’t sure I would fall in love with Master Anderson, he has always been in the series, but Red has outdone herself this time. The character has so much depth it’s amazing. With Thane in the hospital Brad had taken it upon himself to come to Brie’s aide. He is so dedicated to seeing her through this sad situation with his best friend and Brie. We get to see what his life has been like and the heartache he has suffered. He meets Shey on his way to LA to take over as Head Master of the Academy and she has a real impact on him. I enjoyed this story

I do love Master Brad Anderson and his witty charm with his spark of humor, however his tale just wasn't to my liking. His protection of Brie was heroic when it came to her and Sir's rescue, but to go all the way back from the wedding, i really didn't care too much from that standpoint.
I do like the start of the men's POV. I liked how Red switched up the writing. I do love this series and I am a fan of Red Phoenix's. This book however, just didn't hit home with me. With a series of more than 11 books, surely one or more will not be making the mark.

This book is Master Anderson’s point of view and is yummy!! Master Anderson is packing up his Colorado home and moving back to LA. He is the new headmaster at the Submissive Training Center. When Brie is confronted by Lilly Brad steps in to take care of Brie and protect her. Then he wrecks his truck and gets hurt, and calls Shey. Has he found his true soulmate? Can he let go of the past hurt and truly love her? Since he is unable to protect and help Brie he calls Tono to come take care of her. I love this book and recommend everyone read this series! Thanks Red for sharing your talent. 😍

Absolutely amazing story about master Anderson his strength devotion and huge heart never ceases to amaze me the story is in his POV and I absolutely loved it he's one of my favorites and seeing him look after Brie in her time of need and being the protector well Fein is out of it makes me love him even more he completely deserves his happily ever after I'd love to see more of him he's absolutely one of my favorites he has such a big heart a story grabs your heart and doesn't let go beautifully written wonderful job red phoenix I can't wait to dive into the Nextbook

I hope Brad tells Tono what he said to the neighbor lol, I'm sure he is getting all kinds of weird vibes from her. The universe keeps messing with Brie, not going to stop her tho, she is the badass throughout most of the series. Still pretty naive but handles most things so calm, she needs Tono for sure. Will Shadow and Cayenne get along. Why did he come to her? Probably the only person that might take him. Time to watch Brie kick ass and Thane to wake up. Is it possible that Brad has inadvertently started his own family?

I cannot believe all that is being thrown at the lovely young Brie! The challenge that is posed to Master Anderson as he cares for Brie is heartwarming yet perfectly displays his honor to not only his friend Sir Thane Davis but illustrates his beautiful friendship and respect for Brie.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Master Anderson's surprise guest!!! So glad to see his chance at happiness with someone so well matched for him.

A Cowboys Heart
Lovely story where Brad and Shey find one another and fall in love. Brad starts his new job as headmaster at the training centre with a new intake of subs. He does a scene with Boa (oh my!!) Brad is also looking after Brie while Brie and Thanes story continues with heart felt emotions.
Can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Ok, I first came across this series via audiobooks, therefore besides the plot, it is very necessary for me to listen to an interesting voice that is compatible with the expressed characters, this book was told by Joe Arden who has a wide variety of voices.
What I also like is that it has a male perspective.

These books are so fun to read. I like the connection all the characters have with each other. The love shared with most of the people involved is special among good and very close friends. We all should have a person or more to have true connection with and that will always be there for you. Closeness to others is a great thing to have and feel.

We watch as Brad finally finds the one. We watch as Brie struggles with everything she is gping thru. When Brad is hurt he calls in Tono to help. But he gets help himself. Will Shey be able to win his heart.

Okay this story should be a 4 or 5 if it was a stand alone book. I would have loved to read about Brad's story but not in the middle of Brie's journey! Brad, Tono and the Russian deserve their own novels which I would love to read just not at the expense of this lovely saga.
