The Package Deal 2: Hard Lessons

Eyes rolled so hard my head hurt.
Honestly... this book made me angry, so angry that I am not even sure wtf to rate it honestly.
I don't like Raynard.. like not even a little bit and I know that this next book is supposed to be out 2017 but I don't know if he can do much to redeem himself honestly.
Like I don't even get him being mad at all... and I am so glad that his wife finally bossed up. I mean really she was like a fucking doormat in a sense... I promise it felt like "If she doesn't get over it oh well" Im all about doing the right thing but seriously this dude just ugh. I just blah
I am going to be bed
I guess this author gets 4 starts if she pulled this much anger out of me this late at night.
Some unicorns and glitter is needed badly.

I am going to say that by the middle of this book it had me all in my feelings super upset and going off talking to the book... I still do not like the constant switch between 1st and 3 rd person because it stops the flow of the book a lot... And with this book there was no change in font or anything to let you even know it was a change so I had to stop and figure that out... So this was definitely a big distraction and pulled away from the storyline... And this book stopped at 90%... Why... But the storyline did pull me in a little bit more and now I want to see how this will all end...
Raynard had me super heated... I can't stand how he is trying to act like he is such a great guy... Man the insecurities that your wife has is because of YOU... I mean you may be doing good now BUT let's not forget that you were about to slip back into your old ways and so easily... So do not sit here and be this upset and talk to your wife this way when this is all because of YOU... I mean why is he so stupid to the things that Tamika is doing... He has an amazing wife and he is putting his whole family on the line for Tamika... REALLY... This young woman that is throwing tantrums like a child and playing childish games... Tthis is what you want Raynard when you have a whole grown woman at home... I hope your wife divorces you this time and finds her a great man that will treat her the way she deserves and you have to be miserable and sit on the sidelines and watch... See I can go on and on about this stupid man because he really made me mad... But let me talk about these other characters...
Well Tamika is another one that has me super heated... This stupid young girl does not deserve these kids AT ALL... I can't believe half of the things that she does or is willing to do to get the attention of a man that does not want her... Well I mean he does keep saying one thing but his actions always say some else so I guess she is getting mixed signals from him... But still... Why do these kids have to suffer... She really need to grow up and fast...
I feel so bad for everything that Kintessa has been dealing with... She has put up with soooo much from Raynard... She has done all that she could do for him to make things smooth for him... So he can spend time with HIS daughter... He has been doing what he said he wouldn't do... And that was putting THEM before his family... But this last time... Oh to the no... This is definitely the last straw... He doing things like this and handling her like this over Tamika and her lies...
OKAY... you got that Raynard... You can just stay your happy tail right on over there where you want to be so much anyway... Because honey... I hope that Kintessa really walks away now... And there is no apology that can help this marriage any longer... And oh don't come back realizing what you did now... Nope.. Walk away Kintessa... Please for the sake of your sanity and for your children... He is not worth it... You are a strong black woman with a great head on her shoulders... You do not deserve this and he surely does not deserve you...
Ugh... Now I am heated... I need to get into part 3 to find out how this will all play out when it is said and done... I hope everything finally catches up with Tamika...

Loving This Series
This is an extremely well told story of a married man who has an outside child due to a relationship he had before he got married. Desperately changing his ways and 'manning up', he wants nothing more than to keep his family in tact and have a relationship with his outside daughter. But 'baby mama' is doing the most, and wants him despite the fact that he's married. Wife is the stronghold, but how much can a woman take? Can't wait to see how this ends. I can barely get anything else done, this is such an engaging story.

Good Read
Wow this series get better and better. Raynard is beginning to make me mad with the way he is treating Kitt. Tamika I just want her to go away and never return who hurts a baby just to be with a man that no longer wants you. Good series author K Sherrie

A Hard Head Makes A Soft Behind
I must say that K. Sherrie's writing gets better with each story she tells. I could envision the entire story as it unfolded. I liked the fact that you couldn't necessarily see what was coming next. I had been anxiously awaiting the sequel to The Package Deal and I must say I wasn't disappointed. Well, a little since I wasn't expecting it to end in a cliffhanger. This was definitely a well written story with a plausible storyline. It wasn't over the top and all I can say is Kudos to one of my new favorite authors. #DC APPROVED!

Tamika & Raynard really worked my nerves in this book! Tamika is one of the most devious, trifling females I've read about in a while...I thought Kitt tolerated more than enough of Raynard's mess. Storyline continued to flow well as all types of my emotions surfaced. Looking forward to the next part.
