From New York Times Bestselling author Tracy Wolff and International Bestselling author Katie Graykowski comes a sizzling tale of heartbreak, Harley-Davidsons and high heels …
Harmony Wright is a bad girl living a good girl’s life. From the time she was born, she’s always been the good twin. The ladylike twin. The twin her high society (or at least as high society as you can get in San Angelo, TX) mom likes to parade in front of all her garden club friends. She’s gone along with it, too—wearing pearls and Chanel when ripped jeans and motorcycle boots are more her speed. But when Harmony takes off for an extended visit with her twin sister, Lyric, she leaves her good girl persona in the dust …
Dalton Mane knows what it is to be bad and he’s more than ready for the peace that comes with living the good life. Once the crown prince of a powerful biker gang, Bastards of Hell, he walked away from it all when tragedy struck. Now the general manager of the Fort Worth Wranglers, he spends his time wheeling and dealing in the sports world and all while keeping an entire team of football players in line. When Harmony crashes into Dalton, his tidy little life is over. Will he give up everything to keep Harmony out of trouble?

harmony-and-high-heels I really loved the first part in this series and it’s the same with book 2. What a fun read! I love how strong Harmony is. But deep inside she’s insecure too. The chemistry between Harmony and Dalton was great. I also loved the humor in this book. It was also more realistic then book 1 but I did love that too in book 1.
Harmony is Lyric’s twin sister and we already met her in book 1. To the outside she seems to be the good, decent sister but who knows who she really is. She wants the world to know that she’s a bad-ass baker instead of the good girl her mother thinks her to be. Dalton finds out soon enough how she really is but he loves every thing about Five-Alarm Harm.
I’m giving this second fun book in the series 4 stars too. What I missed (again) is an epilogue especially since it took so long for them to get their HEA.
I haven’t read many MM books yet but I would love to read Tre’s story.

4 "...every man had his breaking point." Stars
Another fun book from this author duo. The Fort Worth Wranglers series delves into romantic comedy effortlessly. It's so easy to get folded into the pages of Harmony in High Heels thanks to "five alarm Harm's" antics and the man who adores the hi jinx. With Lyric and Heath returning from book one in big ways, Harmony's story flows that much better. We see another side of these zany twin sisters and the two men accompanying them.
Dalton Mane has his life under control and succinct. He's a little bored yet likes it. That is until he finds Harmony Wright wielding a pool stick in a mini skirt whilst facing danger. From there on he jumps on board Harmony's crazy train quest to prove to her debutante mother that she's not the prim and proper Southern girl baker everyone thinks she is in order to secure to her own contemporary, television baking show. Destruction is the name of Harmony's game and she's all in to win. With crazy plans to prove she's a bad girl, diabolical pranks to prove to Dalton she's untouchable, and Dalton's sweet acceptance this bad girl baker is a force to be reckoned with even as she drags her twin sister down with her. The plot is chaotic, full of humor, and seamlessly written by Wolff and Graykowski making it easy for me to read in one evening. The characters are truly lovable and loads of fun. Seeing the Wright sisters in action with cameos from some old and new friends the book will just make you smile.
If you're a romantic comedy book lover this is a series for you. The writing is good. The stories funny, zany, and sweet. And the characters great fun. Harmony in High Heels is a little edgier than Lyric and Lingerie's more geekier side which is in total agreement with the Wright twin sisters. The flow of their lives and how they mesh as sisters, friends, and cohorts fits perfectly with the men they fall in love with. Enjoy this book and smile - it's worth the ride. If there's any plans for future installments from Fort Worth I'll be all in again with the next set of fun-loving characters.

REVIEW: 3.5 stars-- HARMONY AND HIGH HEELS is the second instalment in Tracy Wolff and Katie Graykowski’s contemporary, adult FORT WORTH WRANGLERS erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Fort Worth Wranglers professional football team. This is Fort Worth Wranglers general manager and former biker Dalton Mane, and bakery owner Harmony Wright's story line. HARMONY AND HIGH HEELS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty although I recommend reading the series in order for cohesion and backstory. Harmony is the twin sister to Lyric Wright whom we met in Lyric and Lingerie.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Dalton and Harmony) HARMONY AND HIGH HEELS follows the building relationship between the Fort Worth Wranglers general manager Dalton Mane, and baker Harmony Wright. Dalton Mane is friends with Fort Worth Wranglers former quarterback Heath Montgomery (Lyric and Lingerie #1), and Heath's sister in law is Harmony Wright. Harmony is a bit of an enigma-reality star, bake-off champion, and tattooed bad girl hiding behind Chanel suits and a string of pearls. When Harmony is offered an opportunity to star in her own Food Network baking show, she sets out to destroy her good girl reputation when her mother refuses to sign off on the use of their co-owned bakery. What ensues is a series of outrageous and not well though out events that focuses on Harmony's attempts to damage her lady like image, and Dalton's pursuit of Harmony Wright. The $ex scenes are erotic, seductive and graphic using whipped cream and tequila as part of the sexual imagery.
Heath and Lyric Montgomery play secondary and supporting roles as well as the return of flight attendant Tre (Lyric and Lingerie) who is a little flamboyant in the fashion design department-Tre's emergency go to fashion item is Duct Tape. Lyric and Harmony's mother Livinia Angleton Wright is the requisite evil akin to the 'wicked witch' and 'evil incarnate' as it pertains to her daughter's choices in life.
The world building continues to focus on family and friendship but there is little to no 'football' or sporting reference as it is the off season, and our hero is going about his business on a day to day basis. There are plenty of outrageous antics and shenanigans as Harmony sets out to ravage her good girl persona but as an identical twin nothing goes according to plan.
HARMONY AND HIGH HEELS is a fast paced, romantic comedy with plenty of erotic and provocative sexual imagery. The over the top absurdity of Harmony Wright is questionable under the circumstances as her actions affect more than her own reputation and life-I think a lawyer or PR consultant would have been the better option. The premise is entertaining and humorous; the characters are colourful, impassioned and eccentric; the romance is captivating and passionate.
The Fort Worth Wranglers series is just- so - *gah* - Wonderful! Thinking about this series makes me smile. I felt the exact same things reading this (Harmony and Heals ) as I did when reading link: Lyric and Lingerie - giddy and completely enamored with the characters. Tracy and Katie delivered another great read in the crazy world of the Wright sisters.
When we met Lyric and her twin Harmony it was apparent that the multi-faceted Harmony needed her own book. She's so much more then I initially thought. I didn't initially pick up on the Five-Alarm Harm aspect and boy this one is one stubborn, sassy & smart women. She's is most excellently matched with Dalton Mane, the GM of the Wranglers. There are couples where their chemistry seeps from the pages. Well these two have an unabashed sexual charge that is simply gushes. With this chemistry and with Harmony being who she is, the story is fast paced and an all too quick read.
While Harmony and Dalton struggle to find their groove, Harmony does pull off a few shenanigans that left me scratching my head. She's impetuous and why it doesn't dawn on her that what she does in public MIGHT be misconstrued. She's gets her twin into more trouble as Lyric has recently been cast as a celebrity in the world of sports superstars ( this comes being married to ex-QB Heath Montgomery). But a character like Harmony makes for a freaking great read.
I was a little more on edge with this book as Harmony really has a hard time being settled. She's one of those characters where it just seems she's not comfortable in her own skin yet. Dalton on the other hand, well his diverse background makes him the perfect match for Harmony. He presents all kinds of challenges for Harmony with her need to be in control and be right all of the time. She pulls some pretty petty moves to get back at him for various infractions. At times it's funny but it also exposes just how alone she feels and we are reminded that the Wright sisters did not win the superbowl with their mother. She remains a piece of work.
The writing is simply stellar and huge kudos's to Tracy and Katie as they present a seamless story line with witty banter an uber sexy moments. Another 4.5 Star read and a recommendation in the romantic comedy genre.
Harmony & High Heels is absolutely hilarious with a female lead that is completely outrageous. Harmony is basically leading a double life trying to please her mother for her entire life while trying to keep her bad girl persona on the down low. She does the occasional Bad Ass cupcake baking -mixed martial arts contest to blow of steam and to keep her skills (both the black belt and the baking) sharpened. But when an opportunity of a lifetime is denied to her simply because her mother disagrees then its time to blow the good girl facade to smithereens. She needs her twin sister's help but her brother in law is simply obstructing ever good idea. Doesn't help that Harmony finds herself very much attracted to Dalton, who happens to be her brother in law's boss! He's an alpha and she's definitely an alpha and two of them in a relationship is bad news. But then she just needs to scratch her itch and she'll be good to go. Dalton is also leading a double life. The bad biker past is definitely left behind and its the reliable manager of a football team is who in control. But Harmony is seductive enough to lead him to the dark side or kill him while trying to lead him there. But she definitely pulls the right strings, its the one where his past is starting to converge with his present that's the problem. In the meantime, the tug of war between him and Harmony is getting more interesting by the minute. Now its every man or woman for himself and who wins is anybody's guess!
Again, readers will be laughing at every ridiculous idea that Harmony gets while at the same time fanning themselves with all that hot, steamy scenes! A sexy romantic comedy of the year!
This review was originally posted on Bookish Things & More 5 Reasons to read Harmony and High Heels I was a huge fan of Lyric. She is totally me in all her clumsy ways. But Harmony is a riot. She's me in completely insane and awkward situations.
If you want a book that will have laughing so hard you can't breathe, this is the book for you. I got some crazy looks from people around me when I would bust out laughing.
What a fantastic book! Was laughing with tears in my eyes!
Again a perfect pairing of two AMAZING authors! This is the second book to another hilarious book, Lyric and Lingerie. I loved this book just as much! The chemistry and story of Harmony and Dalton is hilarious and red hot!
Harmony Wright was bored, the last time she’d been bored, there had been a fire … a tremendous one. She’d say it was accidental, but that would be a lie. She never lied to herself. The rest of the world was a different story. She’d spent most of her thirty years making sure everyone believed exactly what she wanted them to believe.
Her mother is autocratic and domineering member of San Angelo society...she was a good daughter because she co-owned the bakery with her mother and despite numerous opportunities, had yet to smother the woman or slip rat poison into her morning Southern Comfort coffee. For that she figured she deserved Daughter of the Year Award. Maybe even a Nobel Prize. Did they make those for children who survived impossible mothers? In the very least she deserved hazard pay.
Her brother-in-law Heath, is opposed to his wife, her twin Lyric accompanying her to go BASE jumping considering her twin sister is accident prone. It would be fair to say she’s a danger to herself.
She’s insistent she needs this holiday and Heath Montgomery is not going to push them around. Pretending to be her mother’s younger clone was in itself a challenge, with only the occasional trip to the next county over to be herself—she desperately needed time away for good behaviour. She counted on these trips to reclaim herself, to validate that she hadn’t gotten lost despite the years she’d spent kissing Livinia Angleton Wright’s pasty, white, upper-class ass. “We just need to pick a different spot, someplace where there’s a much lower chance of me dying.” “Your chance of dying is just as great at home, or have you forgotten about the planetarium bouncy house disaster?” Her sister had almost suffocated when a blow-up planetarium had collapsed at her neighbor’s kid’s birthday party. Harmony was never getting married. Marriage seemed to be a license for men to push women around.
In her mother’s mind, she was the sole owner of their bakery, although it was Harmony’s brainchild and her mother invested in the venture, Harmony was the one showing up each morning at 3:00 a.m. to do the actual baking—and created all of the recipes and did all of the work. Just the idea of her youngest daughter showing up on a TV show in leather hot pants, all tatted up, and with attitude to spare, would be enough to send her mother spiraling straight to the bottom of her bottle of Southern Comfort. Not to mention, the world’s Xanax supply would take a huge hit. With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, Xanax was the one thing keeping in-laws around the country from serious bodily harm.
Dealing with her mother was like handing nitroglycerine, unstable and explosive. This must have been how Custer felt when he realised he wasn’t getting out alive. “Badass Baker?” Her mother choked on the words. Or maybe she was choking on her too-large sip of Southern Comfort. It was hard to tell, what with all of her pacing and drinking and coming as close to ranting as her ladylike Southern drawl would let her. “That’s not acceptable, Harmony. That’s just not acceptable. And where would they even get the idea that you would be interested in a show like that?” She made it sound like Harmony would be smoking crack and screwing johns on camera. Her fingers went to twisting at the pearls around her neck, a sure sign of her agitation. And the glazed, somewhat frantic look in her mother’s eye said it was real agitation, not the fake stuff she manufactured on a regular basis to keep her husband and her oldest daughter towing the company line. “There’s nothing badass about you, Harmony Marie Wright. A fact for which I am eternally grateful.”
“I want this”. “You don’t know what you want, Harmony.” Her mother turned away and poured another two fingers of Southern Comfort. It wasn’t ladylike to swig directly from the bottle. “If you’re seriously considering parading around a television set in leather and high heels, you definitely don’t know what’s good for you. Or for this family.” Harmony wanted to scream. Or to beat her head against the wall. Or to grab her mother by the throat and beat her head against the wall. Was an overbearing parent why Lizzie Borden had picked up her axe and gone on a chopping spree.
Dalton couldn’t help thinking that fifteen years ago, he’d been a rough-around-the-edges business major with a questionable background and zero experience. He’d also been full of ambition, football knowledge, and the ability to deal swiftly and capably with rooms filled with testosterone-fueled giants. All of which had led him to where he was right now—namely, sitting behind the general manager’s desk in the offices of the reigning Super Bowl champions.
The last time she took Lyric skiing, my wife broke her leg … in two places. Like hell am I letting her jump out of anything, much less a helicopter onto a mountain.” Heath propped his left ankle onto his right knee. “Here’s the thing, Lyric is kind of … uncoordinated. And by kind of, I mean, if there’s even slightly uneven ground, she’s going to fall and probably take someone down with her. And there’s a good chance she’ll end up naked on the way down. Don’t get me wrong. I love my wife more than anything, but the poor thing not only trips over her own two feet on a regular basis, but anything else that might be in the way too. It’s a miracle she’s lived this long but she has, and I’ll be damned if she hurts herself on my watch.”
Lyric suggests Harmony a tattooed, skin-tight wearing black leather, nipple pierced, genital piercing sister, remain in Fort Worth and see what ruination she can do, if she’s bada*s enough, she can make the news, tarnishing the reputation her mother is so proud of... “That’s not half bad.” The only downside Harm could think of was that she wouldn’t be in San Angelo to see her mother’s face when her perfect daughter turned to the dark side. “That’s downright diabolical.” Harmony nodded. “I like that about you.” “I have my moments.” Her head was spinning, but at least she had an idea of how to get her mother in line. Lyric saluted her twin. “Let’s figure out how to lose your reputation in ten days or less.” Harmony pulled out her phone to take notes. “Momma won’t even know what hit her.” Three hours later, the two of them were dressed to kill as Harmony pushed open the door to Dead Shot, the worst biker bar she could find on the Internet.
Harmony’s thoughts on Dalton::: Geez. This guy was harder to get rid of than chlamydia.
‘Dalton didn’t know Commissioner Goodell’s stance on women, but he was pretty sure that a pissed-off Harmony could have turned Gloria Steinem against her own kind’.
He’d handcuffed her in his office. She diabolically raised everyone’s salary, destroyed his office, disabled his computer, reset his password, as he typed in a new password and made a mental note to add it to the password list in his phone as opposed to the sticky note under his desk. He had no doubt he’d do something to irritate Harmony again soon, and he was a man who learned from his mistakes.
Harm had given everyone except the players, coaches, and cheerleaders a five-thousand-dollar-a-year raise. With a few keystrokes, she’d added six hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars to his annual budget. How exactly did he revoke an almost company-wide raise without angering his employees? Yes, he could send out another email explaining the situation, but people were funny about their money. They wouldn’t care that it had all been a joke. It looked like he’d be spending the rest of the afternoon finding a way to squeeze an additional six hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars out of the budget—which was not at all what he’d had planned. Then again, nothing had gone as he’d planned since Five-Alarm Harm had walked into his life. The woman was a force of nature, and trying to control her was proving was futile.
She decides to advertise for a date to thwart Dalton and headed to her room to dress for Operation Quick Date. Or undress. Thirty minutes later, she was out in the front yard wearing her favorite gold-lamé bikini and holding a sign that read, “I NEED A DATE for dinner tonight, are you in?” She’d dragged one of the chaise lounges and a side table from around the pool to the front yard so she could be comfortable while she panhandled for a date. Stupid gated golf course community. Maybe if she walked around and strutted her stuff a little the neighbors would call all of their single friends and she’d be set. Figuring it couldn’t hurt to test the plan out, Harm stood on her six-inch Christian Louboutin gold spiked platforms and took a lap around the front yard. As she did, she twirled her white poster board like she was standing on the corner of a busy highway holding a furniture store going-out-of-business sign. At this point, subtlety wasn’t an option. About two minutes later, a pimply-faced teenaged boy rolled up on a dark-blue Schwinn. “You really need a date?” “Depends.” Maybe she should have put a minimum age on her sign. “Are you legal?” “Had my bar mitzvah last week. My dad says I’m a man now.” He pulled out his smartphone and snapped several pictures of her. Harmony didn’t want to know what he planned on doing with them. “I don’t think the cops accept Jewish law as proof of age.” She shook her head. “Move along, I’m on a tight schedule”.
Harmony grabbed the black Sharpie she’d used to make the sign from the table and added an asterisk at the bottom of her sign, along with, “Must be over twenty-one.” Five minutes later, a golf cart pulled up in front of the house. The man driving the golf cart waved. “Still need a date?” Slowly, he turned around and pulled a walker out of the backseat. It took him three tries, but he finally stood and climbed out of the golf cart. Then he shuffled up the sidewalk toward her at a rate of one millimeter per minute. He looked like a sweet old guy and she didn’t want him to trip on the curb and break something, so she went to him. “I’m Elroy McTavish. The pharmacy just delivered my new prescription,” his furry eyebrows waggled up and down, “if you know what I mean. Which means, if you give me an hour, I can rock your world, Cutie Pie. Only—if we’re going out, you have to drive. I lost my license on account of that liquor store I accidentally drove through.”
She added another asterisk to her sign, along with, “Must be under fifty and healthy.” Seconds later, a fairly new model black Mustang screeched to a stop in the middle of the road. Which was a problem, considering the red Mazda behind it hadn’t anticipated the stop and ended up plowing into the Mustang’s rear bumper. The whole back of it crumbled, and a hubcap popped off and rolled down the street, barely missing another kid on a bicycle. Rush hour had obviously started. The driver of the Mustang stepped out of the car, smoothed down his stringy black hair, and headed her way without so much as a glance at the semi-totaled Mazda behind him. Or even his own crumpled bumper. “I’m Max and I’m your date.” His black pencil mustache didn’t go with his full hipster hillbilly beard, but she had to admit she admired his confidence. “What the hell?” An angry man in a gray business suit jumped out of the Mazda. “You stopped in the middle of the damn street for no reason.” He started to stay more, but then he caught sight of Harmony and read her sign. Seconds later, he was straightening his tie and smiling directly at her. If he hadn’t been missing some pretty important front teeth, it might have been a fairly good smile. “I’m Chester and I’m your date.” “Man, I was here first.” Max glared at Chester. “You wrecked my damn car.” Chester’s eyes turned mean. “Accident, bro. You’re the one who crashed into me.” Max pulled out his wallet, retrieved a card, and flicked it in Chester’s direction. “Here’s my contact info. I have full coverage with USAA. Call me later. You can go.” “I’m not going anywhere.” Chester reared back a fist and landed a decent right hook to Max’s jaw. Chester pulled his punches, so Max should have seen it coming—God knew she had—but now didn’t seem like the best time to point that out. Max shook his head as he recovered, then tackled Chester with a roar. Harmony stepped back to give them a little more room as they rolled around on the lawn. This so wasn’t turning out how she’d thought it would. Seconds later, a blue Dodge truck pulled up and the passenger’s-side window rolled down. The driver called, “I’m here about the hot girl who needs a date.” A white Ford truck pulled in right behind him, followed by a dark-green Chevy. The Chevy’s driver laid on the horn and looked around like he was trying to figure out why all the vehicles were stopped. At least until he caught sight of Harmony and her sign—then his eyes nearly dropped out of his head. He was out of the truck and making his way to her before the other guys had even turned off their ignitions. Yeah, she really hadn’t thought this one through.
Thirty minutes later, the front yard looked like a war zone. Bloody men dotted the lawn, some of the bushes had been crushed by flying bodies, and the police were questioning witnesses. Harmony, who’d put on a swimsuit cover-up, much to the dismay of the two police officers who’d questioned her, sat on the front steps next to Lyric. “I’m willing to admit that this wasn’t my best plan.” She put her head on her sister’s shoulder. “Sorry about the mess.” “No problem.” Lyric patted her leg. “Don’t feel bad. This isn’t nearly as bad as the time I posted an ad on Craigslist for a conference I was giving on self-pubbing research papers. Spell-check changed it to self-rubbing … freakin’ spell-check. Every pervert within a two-hundred-mile radius showed up to my conference.” “Damn, I bet that was fun. Sorry I missed it.” Heath stepped out the front door with a heaping bowl of popcorn. He sat down on the other side of Lyric. “Eat up, darlin’. Dalton’s going to be late. Apparently SWAT has locked down the neighborhood and won’t let anyone in or out. Some inmate saw Harm on social media, escaped from the county jail, and is headed here. Good news is he was in for a white-collar crime—no history of violence.” “Damn social media. I bet it was that kid who snapped all those pictures of me.” She should have confiscated his damn phone. Heath held out the bowl of popcorn to her. “Butter makes everything better.” “Words to live by.” Lyric wrapped a comforting arm around her shoulders. Harmony let herself sink into her twin’s hug for just a minute.
He ran the reigning Super Bowl champion football team and negotiated multimillion-dollar deals for breakfast. He could handle one adrenaline-junkie baker with a short fuse, no matter what she decided to throw at him. It wasn’t like he didn’t deal with spoiled athletes every day of his life. He’d just have to accept the fact that he wasn’t going to be able to control her. She was too unpredictable. Of course, that was one of the things he loved most about her.
Dalton offers to cook for EXCEPT he cannot cook. He sniffed the air. Something was burning. He didn’t cook. Well, besides microwave popcorn and the occasional egg. He thought it was manly to prepare food for his woman, especially if he was going to ease around to a define-the-relationship discussion, he now realised it was one of the worst ideas he’d ever had. One more shot to steady his nerves—he wasn’t driving. The kitchen filled with smoke. And that was when it hit him. The oven, the turkey. He’d wanted to do something special for Harmony, something to show her that he really cared. As if to prove his point, when he yanked the oven door open, flames shot out. He grabbed the fire extinguisher from under the sink and doused the turkey in white foam. Was blackened turkey the same as charred turkey? He couldn’t serve this. His whole place smelled like Five-Alarm Harm had already tried to burn it to the ground. He took stock of what he had left for dinner. There was the cornbread dressing … He slouched against the cabinets next to the kitchen sink. It had been baking on the rack under the turkey, so that was out. There were French-cut green beans on the stove. He lifted their lid. They looked like black dried-out worms. He glanced at the chicken stock he’d been about to add to them when the turkey had broken out in flames. Too late now. Green beans were off the list. He lifted the lid on the macaroni and cheese. Because it was a special occasion, he’d bought the deluxe box kind instead of just the plain old mac and cheese. Just to make sure the noodles were cooked through, he’d let them boil for almost an hour. Turned out that wasn’t a great plan, since they’d fallen apart as soon as he added the cheese sauce. Now they kinda looked like bright-orange oatmeal. The mashed potatoes didn’t look that bad—he was kind of proud of them. As he didn’t have a potato masher or a hand mixer, he’d ended up using a hammer to beat them into submission. Sure, they were kinda lumpy and—he peered closer—a little rust filled. But rust was okay, right? A little oxidized metal never hurt anyone. Or at least, had never killed anyone. Shoulders slumped in defeat, he turned to look at the gravy. He lifted that lid and the smell was so bad it nearly knocked him over, so he slammed the lid back down.
He opened the front door, and in a moment the penthouse elevator door rolled open. And there stood Harmony, wearing nothing but killer black high heels, tiny black lace panties, a black leather motorcycle jacket, and a sinful smile. His brain shut down and all he could do was stare. He ran his hand across his mouth checking for drool. No drool. “I’ll take your slack-jawed expression as a sign that you like my new underwear.” She tossed a black dress over her shoulder and strutted out of the elevator. If he thought the front view was nice, the back was even better. An itty-bitty string disappeared between her perfectly round ass cheeks. “I hope you were wearing the dress when you walked through the lobby, or my doorman probably had a heart attack and is dead on the front sidewalk.” He closed the door and leaned against it, just taking her in. Every square inch of her was perfect. Lucky, lucky him. What a wonderful feeling it was to be in love with the person he was also lusting over.
Minor miscommunication...this is one of my favourite books.

I would give this book 3.5 stars. Harmony is so different from her twin Lyric. Turns out that she is practically leading a double life. She grew up protecting Lyric from their mother that she began emulating her with the way she dressed. Underneath the clothes and pearls, she had tattoos and piercings that her parents didn't know about. When she has a chance to have her own baking show that shows her true self, she has to come up with a way to get her mom on board. She takes off to visit Lyric and come up with a way to ruin her reputation. When Dalton meets her, he's intrigued. She is unlike anyone he has ever met. There's one debacle after another while she is trying to ruin her rep. I liked the ending but I just wish there had been an epilogue because I felt like there is more to their story .
3.5/5 While Harmony and High Heels does contain a whirlwind, steamy romance it isn't the main focus of the plot. Instead the narrative concentrates on the theme of identity (we all know how much I love delving into what makes a character and the experiences that have shaped them).
Focusing on Harmony (Lyric from Lyric and Lingerie 's twin sister) it is painfully obvious that Harmony is stuck in a bit of an identity crisis, having had to divide herself in order to shield Lyric from their monstrous mother while at the same time unleashing her true personality in the strangest of situations. On of those strange situations leads to the opportunity of a lifetime for Harmony, if only she can reconcile both sides of her personality. Something that proves a lot harder to do than anticipated; Harmony struggles to find the middle ground between the two drastically different personalities she has cultivated over the years, leading to some unfortunate yet hilarious situations.
Can I just say I would totally watch cookery shows by the names used within Harmony and High Heels. Plus I want those cannoli ;)
Dalton is the Business Manager of the football team Heath (Lyric and Lingerie) is a part of. His sleek suits hides his alpha control orientated personality born of an extremely unusual upbringing. His past and present collide when he first meets Harmony. While Dalton's upbringing is touched upon I did feel as if it could have been developed further in order to understand him a little better. A strong case of insta-lust ensues following their first encounter with Dalton and Harmony battling for dominance in such fun ways. While their relationship progresses quickly, Harmony's unexplored insecurities create turmoil between Harmony and Dalton exasperated by wardrobe malfunctions.
Lyric and Heath play a large role within Harmony and High Heels, I loved seeing the strengthening of their relationship alongside Harmony's story. I especially liked the exploration of the bond between twins and the differences in their personalities and how they viewed each other, with traits they each envied.
There is a surprise appearance of a colourful character from Lyric and Lingerie that added an extra dimension of fun to the story as a whole.
Harmony and High Heels is a whirlwind of activity and fun with a side order of heat. I am looking forward to seeing where the rest of the series goes from here.
Book given by the authors for an honest review. http://thesecretworldofbooklovers.blo... This is the second book in the Forth Worth Wranglers series so we have already met most of the characters and I have to say I was really excited to read about Harmony, she seemed like a really interesting and peculiar character from what we could see about her in the previous book and she didn't disappoint.
She has a lot of problems based on the fact that she is not truly being herself, and the worst of it is that she is not really sure who that is.
She has spent all of her life being two different persons, one that is what her mother wanted here to be and the other one is the complete opposite. But she is not sure that rebellious crazy person is really her either. She is fighting to find the middle ground between the two.
Then comes in Dalton, he was sure he knew what he wanted out of this life, until he sees her, she is definitely bad news and he can't get enough of it.
Loving her the way she is might just be the best thing Dalton can do for her, but she is not in a place to see it for what it is. She is scared and insecure, how can she accept someone loving her for who she really is when she doesn't even know who that is herself.
The sex scenes between them are so good, they burn up with a crazy intensity that can't be compared to anything either of them had experienced and that scares both of them.
It was a really entertaining story, reading about all of the crazy stuns she pulled was the best part of it, I've never known someone who could get into so much trouble is such a short amount of time, just priceless.
These ladies have scored BIG with their second book in the sexy, charming, and sweet Fort Worth Wranglers series! This one is Harmony’s story and what a story she has to tell! I was under the mistaken impression she was the good girl who lived up to her mother’s strict rules of being the perfect southern lady. Harmony is one bad-$$$ woman underneath all that southern charm. Too bad she has to hide her piercings and tattoos under her high society clothes. The only time she can let loose is in the next county over or one of her vacations. She is also very successful…owning almost half of her bakery with her mother. She is given an incredible opportunity to show off her baking skills and be who she wants to be, but her mother wants no part of it. This dilemma is only half of the story. The other half comes into play when she meets her brother-in-law’s boss. What an unforgettable first meeting!!! The sparks fly! Dalton is attracted to this wild woman, but he gave wild women up a long time ago when he left his past. As they say, nothing can stop what the heart wants, and what Dalton and Harmony’s hearts want is each other!
Again, these two writers know how to develop their characters. They’re all quirky and have a wonderful sense of humor, even the minor secondary characters. Holy cow, I fell in love with the “coffee club” of men who all served in Vietnam who are regulars in Harmony’s bakery! They all make me want to move to their small Texas town. Back to the two main characters…Dalton and Harmony. I don’t think I’ve come across two characters more perfect for one another. Both like to live life on a bit of the wild side, even though Dalton would never admit it. It’s that crazy side of Harmony that he loves. And Harmony, I will remember her FOREVER! She is one of those characters that just jumps off the pages! She brings color to everything as much as she brings adventure and chaos. She has heart and loyalty, and I wanted so badly for her mother to see it! I hated that she felt like she was trapped between two worlds, living the predictable life her mother wanted for her and the wild life she felt she had to live. Dalton brought some balance to that and helped her figure out who she really was and how she really wanted to live her life.
If you love romance that has spice, sweetness, lots of laughs, and characters you won’t soon forget, I HIGHLY recommend this series. It’s a perfect way to escape life for just a bit. Once you get to know these two twin sisters, Lyric and Harmony, you will always be anticipating when you can go back!

Tracy Wolff and Katie Graykowski have such a fun, sexy time with this series. This second book is about Lyric's twin sister, Harmony Wright. While Harmony has always carried herself as the prim and proper southern daughter sister, she really is just a fun, wild child hiding her real self! Underneath her proper clothes are many tattoos that she keeps hidden from the public. All Harmony wishes for is that she could just be herself.
After winning the Cupcake Cage Match challenge in Las Vegas, Harmony is approached with having her own TV show, Badass Baker. While Harmony would love to be herself and take this position, she is not sure her mom would agree since her mother has no idea about Harmony's "real" lifestyle. Of course things do not go well with dear old mom so Harmony decides to take matters into her own hand and let the world see the real Harmony Wright. The problem is every time she tries, the public thinks it's Lyric! These situations were hysterical and laugh out loud funny....but it also brings Harmony to meeting Dalton Mane.
Dalton Mane is the general manager for the Wrangler's football team and gives the impression of being proper and serious...but what people don't know is that he had a wild past....so he can fully understand Harmony's desire to be her real self. These two brought out such a great and fun side of each other. I loved these two together...so full of spunk!
The path these two go on to be truly themselves was wonderful! I really enjoyed Harmony and Dalton. Great fun story!
I don't know about you, but I enjoy a book that makes me laugh so hard tears fall from my eyes...if you do as well this book (well really the whole series) will do that for you. Harmony was hysterical, her theatrics to sully her good girl reputation were so off the charts out there that you couldn't help but laugh at all the mayhem she caused. Lyric and Harmony are identical twins but it stops in the looks department because these two women couldn't me more opposite than black and white, while Lyric is the smart astrophysicist whose a bit quirky Harmony is the prim and proper baker that totes the good girl image but what no one really knows is that underneath the channel suits and pearls lays a tatted and pierced body just dying to be seen. Dalton and Harmony seem like the oddest match but really once you find out more about Dalton you realize just how perfect he is for Harmony.....and the nickname he gives her is absolutely perfect!
I cannot get enough of this series an I look forward to more of it, because everyone enjoys a good laugh and that is exactly what you get with men of the Fort Worth Wranglers and their quirky, crazy, out of this world women. **I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book given to me by the author, this is a completely honest and non-incentivized review**

Harmony Wright is a bad girl living a good girl’s life. From the time she was born, she’s always been the good twin. The ladylike twin. But when Harmony takes off for an extended visit with her twin sister, Lyric, she leaves her good girl persona in the dust …

Now the general manager of the Fort Worth Wranglers, he spends his time wheeling and dealing in the sports world and all while keeping an entire team of football players in line. When Harmony crashes into Dalton, his tidy little life is over. Will he give up everything to keep Harmony out of trouble? Add to Goodreads Buy on Amazon
About the Authors Tracy Wolff Tracy Wolff collects books, English degrees and lipsticks and has been known to forget where—and sometimes who—she is when immersed in a great novel. At six she wrote her first short story—something with a rainbow and a prince—and at seven she forayed into the wonderful world of girls lit with her first Judy Blume novel. By ten she’d read everything in the young adult and classics sections of her local bookstore, so in desperation her mom started her on romance novels. And from the first page of the first book, Tracy knew she’d found her life-long love. Now an English professor at her local community college, she writes romances that run the gamut from contemporary to paranormal to erotic suspense.
And for all of those who want the unedited version: Tracy Wolff lives with four men, teaches writing to local college students and spends as much time as she can manage immersed in worlds of her own creation. Married to the alpha hero of her dreams for twelve years, she is the mother of three young sons who spend most of their time trying to make her as crazy as possible.
Katie Graykowski I write romantic comedy with lots of heart. I like scuba diving, Mexican food, chocolate cream cheese frosting, movies where lots of stuff gets blown up, and sparkly things. I have a husband, a daughter, and three K-9 kids. I'd love to hear from you. Shoot me an email at katiegraykowski@me.com
As one of my friends would say, the book is "awesomely good".
I'm a huge fan of Tracy Wolff's and love her creativity and writing style. This book, being a collaboration, offers the same great storytelling, but adds in a new flavour from Katie.
Without giving away spoilers, this book has great elements, combined together in a spellbinding way: motorcycles, bad guys who aren't all that bad, action and sizzling chemistry. I love how these authors manage to give depth to the characters. They don't deal with cliches, but rather give every person real dimensions and emotions. The authors pull me into their characters' lives and live each heart-wrenching and heart-warming moment with them.
Normally I'm pretty hesitant about trying new authors but the first book was free and I devoured it and had to get this one too! Read it in a couple hours. Couldn't put it down. The only thing I didn't like was there were a couple loose ends with sub plots but the main story was worth it.
I love this author's style of writing and storytelling and this book was once again one of her best. The characters were exceptionally well-written and were entertaining and the romance between them sizzles off of the pages. This is one of my favorite series and I hope there are many more stories like these. Definitely a five-star rating.
The story was too rushed. I loved it all but they needed to pad it out properly. The last third just abruptly ended with all story lines shut down in a chapter. It took the book down from awesome to ok.
I did find Harmony and High Heels amusing and fun until Harmony started sending emails from’ Dalton’s computer. The ramifications were too great and she didn’t think it through, which is when I decided to stop reading the book.
I loved Harmony and Dalton! Their love story was an awesome read. Harmony was the best! I kept turning pages just to see what she’d do next! And I was so happy that Tre appeared again. That man’s a hot sketch!
Lyric & Harmony are treasures. two of the funniest romances i have enjoyed in a while but i would so love to see Tre get a story. great writing, fun stories, wonderful characters. loved them
I'm not going what I was expecting but this book fell a bit short for me. Maybe its because I didn't read Lyrics story but I really wanted to like it it was just ok for me.
The first book was so off the wall funny that I was excited to read this one. It was not funny, not a good read and I feel like I wasted my time by reading it.
Harmony Wright plays the good girl on the outside, and is a total bad girl on the inside. She plays her good girl part in order to keep her twin sister safe from their overbearing mother. So Harmony has become the pearl wearing, ladylike daughter that her mother can parade around society, on the outside. The only time she gets to let loose, is when she hangs with her twin when they do their annual vacation. There's a problem this year though, because her sister's husband doesn't want them to go to place they planned, so Harmony is leaving her good girl persona behind, and will change his mind. Dalton Mane grew up in an MC, so he knows how to do bad. Now days, he likes a calm and ordered life, as he's working hard to realize his goals of becoming the NFL Commissioner. But for now, he's the general manager of the Fort Worth Wranglers, who are fresh off a Super Bowl win season. However, when he sees Harmony for the first time, he is drawn to the firecracker, but he's still trying to stay away, as he has to be in control. Of course, is isn't working, and he realizes that he can't stay away from her, but will he give everything up to keep her out of trouble?
Harmony and High Heels is a rip roaring good time that I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED big time! Harmony is my newest girl crush, as I couldn't look up to any trouble maker more. The character development is fantastic, with a highly colorful cast of secondaries that were perfect. The flammable chemistry had sparks shooting out of my kindle, and finally EXPLODED into panty disintegrating, SIZZLING HOT sexy scene goodness that going commando works best. Now that I've typed up some highlights, it's time to touch on the well placed humor! There was so much hysterical moments in this story, that I got over taking sips of my drink until the end, as I couldn't keep from spitting it out when I belly laughed so hard. I mean like hard to catch your breath, snorting laughter that has my stomach and sides in big pain now. The stuff that Harmony came up with was brilliant and diabolical, and made this story highly original! These two authors talented writing style's shined through, as I would have never been able to tell that there were two different writers, if I had not already known that fact. This series is my newest addiction, and I can only pray that there is more in the very near future! Bottom line, I can't HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND it enough, so do yourselves a huge solid, and read this amazing goodness that is Harmony and High Heels!
This is a sequel to the Book, Lyric and Lingerie. The romance in this book involves Harmony, the twin sister of the heroine of the first book. Harmony lives a rather confused life. She pretends to be the good daughter that her mother demands. She dresses conservatively and bakes delicacies in the bakery that she and her mother co-own. But deep down, she prides herself on being a bad girl. She hides tattoos and body piercings and her participation in a combo baker/cage-match TV show. And now the producers of that show want her to star in her own TV show, Bad-Ass Baker.
In her desire to change her reputation as a good girl, she drags her twin sister to a biker bar where they get in a fight and are rescued by her brother-in-law, a retired quarterback, and Dalton, the GM of the Super Bowl winners, the Fort Worth Wranglers. Dalton is immediately attracted to Harmony and likes her for her bad-girl vibe.
There are cute moments in the book, but the whole set-up is just too unbelievable. We’re supposed to believe that Harmony wants to change her reputation, yet every time she does something the slightest bit shocking, people think it’s her astrophysicist twin sister. The woman is sporting a torso full of tattoos and she can’t think of a way to distinguish herself from her sister?
The book starts out with her throwing a rather immature fit because Lyric, the twin, cannot go BASE skiing with her in South America because her husband worries that his wife’s klutziness would endanger her. Harmony screeches up and down about how her sister is letting her husband dictate her life, but she knows that her sister is a klutz; why would she want her sister to take on a dangerous sport when she’s not experienced at it. Harmony just comes off as an immature and insecure harridan. I liked Dalton a lot but Harmony just got on my nerves.
But if you don’t mind suspending disbelief about the plot and character, the book was funny and there were some cute scenes. I would have liked more on Dalton’s job as GM of a football team. It just seemed like he was given that job title and a few events to go to, but he could just as easily have had any sort of business job. What’s the point of having a sports romance if there isn’t any sports in it?
Thank you to the authors for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.
If I thought “Lyric And Lingerie” was a laughing riot, “Harmony And High Heels” kicks it up notch as Lyric’s twin sister Harmony Wright turns every normal act into a humorous mess of consequences, annoys and frustrates the once bad boy Dalton Mane, and talk about opposites being attracted, and these two are made for each other.
The good girl personal is left far behind as Harmony visits her twin, and her bad girl persona, bikes and boots, bars and fights seem to attract her to no end giving the tabloids plenty of gossip and a tinge of intrigue whether there is one or two Wright sisters.
Dalton had no idea the hurricane that hits him when he comes face to face with Harmony is going to create wonderful chaos to his tidy and organized life. Once the leader of a bike gang and now the respectable manager of the Forth Worth Wranglers, getting involved with Harmony is just going to erase the harmony of his life.
Co-written by Tracy Wolff and Katie Graykowski, the second book in the Ft. Worth Wranglers Series is just one of the best romantic comedies I’ve read in a long time. This is one of those rare books that has the right amount of humor, down to earth characters, the precarious situations that can happen to anyone and mostly the dynamics of a family, and the strong bond between Harmony and Lyric even as they are as different as night and day.
And I loved Tracy and Katie for keeping the story so very strong in narration, the bond between Heath, Lyric and Harmony is family perfect, the witty banter and the chemistry between Harmony and Dalton is just ultra charming, adorable and totally sexy. And they are just perfect! And Tre is icing on the cake!!!
Harmony And High Heels gets more than five stars from me and it’s a reader’s pleasure Received an ARC from the authors for an honest review and as part of the blog tour.
I was provided a copy of the book by the author for an honest review.
I just finish reading this book and I love it, I felt in love with the first book ( Lyric and Lingerie) but I have to say that I love this one way more. This book had me laughing I couldn't put the book down I am going to make this short since I don't want to give anything away. If you read the first book than you met Harmony, Lyric Identical Twin Sister this is her story
Harmony had always play the good daughter and the good sister her entire life, the only time that she could act her true self was when she left town. Now she has being offer the job of her dream to have her own food network show, and the job have come knocking at her door they had offer her a show call Badass Baker which is what she is. But their is one problem her mother don't believe that she is anything like that... That's why she find herself at her twin house coming up with a plan to ruin her reputation. That's how she find herself at a Bikers Bar getting into trouble until Dalton shows up with Heath her brother in law. When Dalton seen her for the first time he couldn't denied the attraction that he felt for her and he knew that he needed to have her will he make her fall for him.
I really love how Dalton and Harmony are with each other, I love it how Dalton is always making her angry, love it how she always do something just to get back to him for what ever he does, love the chemistry that they have for each other and the Sex Scene are Hoottt...
I really love and enjoy reading this book love the characters and how the book turn out to be. Author Tracy Wolff THANK YOU for letting me read and review another great awesome book of yours love it.
Harmony “Harm” Wright is not happy with her life. Then a chance comes along where she can shine. But if you know these authors at all you will know that nothing is easy. I loved how the Food Network sneaks in to the story. It’s one of my go to channels and I could totally picture watching a show with Harmony in it. Dalton Mane is a man who shows that dreams can come true. His life might have seemed sane but that was before a certain woman entered his life.
Harmony and her sister, Lyric, are total opposites. Both Lyric and her husband make an appearance here. It shows that their story isn’t over yet. But if you haven’t read Lyric and Lingerie, after finishing this book you may want to go back and check it out. There are several other characters that have continued into this story. One such character is Cherry Cherry. She is an experience that I was glad to see again. For a character that doesn’t speak, she knows how to steal a scene. Was also very happy to see the whirlwind that is known as Tre – he’s an experience that you will enjoy.
I couldn’t think of a way to best describe Harmony but you’ll come upon a scene where Dalton comes up with the perfect description. Our Authors know just the right combination to get their readers to laugh. My mother always taught me that you don’t laugh at people’s situations but she’d never come across Harmony and Lyric. And just like Harmony, the ending is unique and I look forward to seeing what this duo will create next.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
This is a great book; this is the second book in the Fort Worth Wranglers series written by Katie Graykowski and Tracy Wolff. I love this series, the books keep getting better and better. This book can be read as a standalone, but if you want the best story for each character then I would read them in order. Harmony Wright is a bad girl living a good girl’s life. From the time she was born, she’s always been the good twin. She has been hiding her true self from her mother and the rest of the people in her small town. When she gets a once in a life offer to have her own baking show called “Badass Baker” sets off to ruin her perfect appearance. The problem is everything she does in public to ruin her appearance her twin sister Lyric, gets blamed for. Dalton Mane is the general manager of the Fort Worth Wranglers and has left his past behind him including bad girls with tattoos. The more he is around Harmony, he can’t resist her. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
What a great book this was. Book one was amazing and I did not know how they were going to top the first one, but man was I pleasantly surprised with this book. It is so well written and in depth. And oh so dam funny to.
This book is about Harmony Lyrics twin sister or as heath refers to her as he evil twin. Harm is a baker and has some of the most unusual items in her bakery my fave is her take the gun eat the cannoli. Actual cannoli shaped like guns. Man I want some of those. When Harm meets Dalton it is a full on event. That evolves bikers, pool sticks and Krav Maga. To put it best she is the Bad Ass meets Betty Crocker. He is in love at first site. Only as Lyrics twin, she keeps getting mistaken for her. When Dalton cuffs her to his desk he is in so much trouble. The things she dose to get even are truly brilliant.
Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too.
