It is a light and fun mystery read that I liked even better than "Chicken-Fried Homicide" the 1st book in the series. Even though the murderer was easy to spot it was a very nice read. I love characters and the setting on the chicken farm and can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Exciting Story
This was an ingenious story. While the culprit (murderer) was obvious, the journey to the reveal was quite interesting. I found that I had lots of emotions as the story progressed, a mark of a good writer. While there does need to be a bit of editing done, the story was solid. I love the characters (and I have read all three books of this series now) and I think Chuck is simply hysterical! I hope there will be a lot more to come in this series!

Grumpy old coot & murder
The Cooper sister's have their hands full again, finding their neighbor dead.
With their chickens getting sick too, now they have to solve who gone it
Be for they lose their farm and home. Along with all this a land buyer won't
leave them alone either. Now it's crunch time for the sister's, they have to solve
the murder. Can they do it, read it and find out.

A quick, cute cozy finds readers on a chicken farm in Tennessee run by two 50ish sisters, Jenny and Sissy, who are small town girls with one death and a second possible victim in the hospital. A well written mystery, with excellent characters, a fun location and great descriptions. I look forests to reading book 2.
