Three Rivers Ranch Romance Box Set

Rate this book
This Christian western romance boxed set contains the last three novels in the Three Rivers Ranch Romance series - Fifth Generation Cowboy, The Seventh Sergeant, and Eight Second Ride. And a bonus novella -- Sixth Street Love Affair!

Fifth Generation Cowboy: A Three Rivers Ranch Romance (Book 4): Tom Lovell has watched his friends find their true happiness on Three Rivers Ranch, but everywhere he looks, he only sees friends. Rose Reyes has been bringing her daughter out to the ranch for equine therapy for months, but it doesn't seem to be working. Her challenges with Mari are just as frustrating as ever. Could Tom be exactly what Rose needs? Can he remove his friendship blinders and find love with someone who's been right in front of him all this time?

BONUS: Sixth Street Love Affair: A Three Rivers Ranch Romance Novella: After losing his wife a few years back, Garth Ahlstrom thinks he's ready for a second chance at love. But Juliette Thompson has a secret that could destroy their budding relationship. Can they find the strength, patience, and faith to make things work?

The Seventh Sergeant: A Three Rivers Ranch Romance (Book 5): Life has finally started to settle down for Sergeant Reese Sanders after his devastating injury overseas. Discharged from the Army and now with a good job at Courage Reins, he’s finally found happiness—until a horrific fall puts him right back where he was years ago: Injured and depressed. Carly Watters, Reese's new veteran care coordinator, dislikes small towns almost as much as she loathes cowboys. But she finds herself faced with both when she gets assigned to Reese's case. Do they have the humility and faith to make their relationship more than professional?

Eight Second Ride: A Three Rivers Ranch Romance (Book 6): Ethan Greene loves his work at Three Rivers Ranch, but he can't seem to find the right woman to settle down with. When sassy yet vulnerable Brynn Bowman shows up at the ranch to recruit him back to the rodeo circuit, he takes a different approach with the barrel racing champion. His patience and newfound faith pay off when a friendship--and more--starts with Brynn. But she wants out of the rodeo circuit right when Ethan wants to rejoin. Can they find the path God wants them to take and still stay together?

"Fifth Generation Cowboy" is a novel that struck outside of the norm for this series, at least to me. I felt like this novel by Ms. Isaacson was a step about from the homestead of Three Rivers Ranch, and into the lives that surround the community that makes these books so great. We find Tom and Rose in a new, up and coming friendship; one that's built on both not looking for love. Can they be what the other needs, even with them both fighting it? Will they find that happily ever after?

"Sixth Street Love Affair" is a wonderful story and is actually the first in this series that I was reading for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet and new romance, it had the passion and a little bit of danger to keep readers on their toes and coming back for more. I can honestly say that I never expected this story to have come out of the quiet Garth and Juliette; however, I will not say anything more for I don't want to give anything away.

"The Seventh Sergeant" shows the broken side of a veteran, the physical pain instead of just the mental agony that stays behind after the war. Reese Sanders was Pete's first patient at Courage Reins and has finally began to find his way in the war with his disabilities, that is until an accident might leave him paralyzed permanently. Can Carly Watters help Reese fight his way out of the deep hole of depression? Can there be a love story here?

The box set I read actually contains books 4 through 7 in the Three Rivers Ranch series. I enjoy this series because they are entertaining romances set on an amazing ranch that offers equine therapy for wounded warriors and children with autism. The characters are caring Christians who live out their faith without being preachy. It's better to read the stories in order as you will see characters from earlier books further along in their lives. However, each book can be read as a standalone without missing any of the story.

Fifth:
I really enjoyed this romance and the autism emphasis. The great thing about binging series is that you remember all of the moments with minor characters when it comes time for them to star. Makes it that much better. I love seeing the different ranches and different families. A wonderful and interconnected world.

Sixth:
We see these characters and some of their story in Fifth Generation Cowboy, you might appreciate it all a little more if you read that book first. I anxiously awaited this book to see what happens between these characters. This may only be a novella, but the depth and breadth of it made it feel like a novel. Intense and real. I loved it.

Seventh:
I thoroughly enjoyed this cowboy client romance. Reese has been flirting around the edges of this series for a few books now, originally I wondered if he’d be getting together with Lex, and while I didn’t know too much going into this book, I knew I’d come to love it. How could I not? I loved figuring out where the title came from!

Eight:
This book had a different feel than the previous books in the series, probably because it happens mostly on the circuit instead of the ranch. However, i still really enjoyed it. There were strong characters. The story definitely took a turn that i wasn’t expecting.

Three Rivers Ranch Romance Box Set

Well now I have read every book in this Box Set and each and everyone of them are five star ratings. They could not have been written any better. Your Books you've written about Ranch life and the love of horses and the best romance novels that I have ever read are truly exceptional. I recommend all of you books to your readers and am confident they will find them equally as great as me. I am a 72 year old Rancher raising both cattle and horses for over 30 years. You are truly one of the very best Authors of Western Romance Novels that I have had that I have had the pleasure of reading. I read over a hundred books a year, so I know when a five star rating for a certain book deserves it and all of yours do. Thanks for many hours of pleasure that I have reading such amazing books filled with love and hope.

I liked the characters and the faith found in this clean romance set but having it in a box set format makes it pretty obvious that they are following a bit of a formulaic plot--at least as far as the romance part of it goes. The characters either start at or end up at Three Rivers Ranch. The ranch itself seems like a great haven for those who know it to have. I would read more in this series and more by this author.

I loved it! The combination of cowboys (and girls), clean romance, and ranches with horses, veterans, and children with disabilities, then rodeos was excellent for my interests. Each book kept me wondering who the next book would be about and what would happen. It is a set, but each book could stand on its own also.

I enjoy reading collections.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series of stories about cowboys. Each book is a stand alone but I like to read them in order because you get to see what is going on with previous characters as they make an appearance in future stories.
I do believe that Liz Isaacson is one of my favorite authors.

Series

Very good series. Each book was a stand alone but the same characters crossed over in each book. Good reads with each couple facing and dealing with different problems. Three rivers Ranch was one big happy family. They supported and loved each other. Enjoyed.

I continue to enjoy every story in this great series. Each one expands on the others but they can all be enjoyed individually as well. They’re well worth the time to read.

This a continuation of the Three Rivers Ranch Series! It's nice to see other cowboys and their ladies find their happy endings! They may not be blood related but they are family!
