Olivia Murphy thought she’d managed to get a handle on her life.
Robbed of her strength and confidence at school by a group of bullies, she fought back. She made a new life for herself. A new name. After losing her soon to be fiancé in a car accident she sought out the armour she developed in school and refused to have anything more in her stolen.
Until she comes face to face with one of her tormentors. The one she trusted most of all. Who not only broke her psyche, but her heart too. Fintan Kelly.
Olivia decides that for once she’s going to steal something back, revenge. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth and his heart for her heart.
Will her quest to avenge the wrongs from her past give her the closure she hopes? Or will she find that no matter how much of yourself, or your past, you try to change some wounds are so deep you don’t even realise you’re keeping them open.
Lies and misunderstandings from a mutually troubled past will either bring this couple together or rob them both of everything important.
I am freaking impressed that this is a debut novel! Wow! I loved it! C.L. Sayers gives us a little bit of everything in this second chance romance! I laughed, I cried and I did some MAJOR swooning!
C.L. Sayers had me entranced from the beginning of the story. That prologue. WHOA. I needed to know what was going to happen with the characters! I was very intrigued! The sexy times between Fintan and Livvy were off the charts steamy! And I enjoyed the banter between them. They kept me grinning from ear to ear!
Robbed definitely had some emotional moments. The pain that both of these characters experienced in their past was so heart breaking. Events that are very real and any one of us can relate to. I felt my heart squeezing and breaking on more than one occasion. I felt all of the emotions one could possibly feel while traveling this journey with Livvy and Fintan. I felt their pain. I felt their happiness. I felt their heart ache. I felt all of it! It takes a great writer to achieve that and Sayers did it with eloquence.
I enjoyed this book very much and can't wait to read more from C.L. Sayers! If you're looking for a fun, yet emotional romance that will have you cheering to give love a second chance, then you need to get Robbed! See what I did there?
C.L. Sayers is a new author to me, and I feel so privileged that I was given the opportunity to read this book before it's release. I find it so hard to believe that this is her first novel, it was written so well! The eloquent language used was a breath of fresh air.
I was drawn in right from the very first chapter. The torment the main character had to deal with during her school years is just heartbreaking. I, myself, have not had the pain of having to deal with bullies firsthand, but I have been witness to the effects it has had on others close to me, and I know how much they were hurting. This author has captured the emotions perfectly. All I wanted was to pull her into my arms and cradle her, protect her from the horrid girls who tortured her every day. She was a shell of a girl, hiding away from prying eyes, trying not to be noticed.
And then we get to see her years later, a successful published author and lecturer. A woman who has worked hard to get to where she is, in both her work and herself. With new friends and a semblance of confidence, she has moved on with her life.
I loved seeing her grow in confidence as the story went on. Seeing her realise that she is beautiful and worthy of happiness. I loved watching the relationship blossom between her and the one who broke her heart all those years ago. Seeing them open up to each other, and somehow re-establish that trust and love that had been lost.
Something I really appreciated was that the main character was a curvy girl who had struggled with her weight. I was able to relate to that feeling of dread when someone touches your stomach for the first time and you can't help but suck in, hoping that they won't notice the extra layers, or the stretch marks or jiggly bits. I think every girl has had that feeling at some point in their lives - that they're not quite up to standard. I love the way this author tackled it, making it so that she forgot about her insecurities. She was happy in her own skin.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from this author.
Blurb Can two wrongs make a Mr. Right?

Gaawwddddd this story tore me up...just gutted me. I FLOVED every minute of it. You can only feel what Livvy feels while reading about her story. I mean it's real life issues that people deal with everyday. This is a great story of a strong girl who takes the lemon's life gave her and turned them into lemonade...sort of. I mean she still has some issues but she is making the most of life. Fin...so much I can say about him, but with out giving to much of the story away I can't...LOL Just lets say, he is sexy, built, kind, and caring, and just what Livvy needs. Ohhhhh Ohhhh also the sex scenes are HOT as F!!!!!!!
Robbed is the debut novel by CL Sayers and was a quick and easy read for me. I found the story-line to be fun and entertaining. I enjoyed the fast pace and the idea of the story. Even though this story is fast paced and an overall short read, it hits all the marks. This story pulled me in from the very beginning and had me wanting to know more. I enjoyed the characters and found them easy to connect with. I think the author did an excellent job with the issues that Olivia went through. She made it easy to understand where Olivia came from and why her actions were the way that they were.
As I previously stated, Robbed is fast paced, but it has just the right balance of sexy times, drama and romance. I am really impressed by how well written this book is for a debut novel. I think this author has a lot of great potential and I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

Words to describe a large chunk of Elizabeth McKeen's life. Her only saving grace was her best friend, Fin, until he became part of the problem.
Years later Livvy, yes Livvy, has changed more than her name. She is a successful woman with a tragic loss. It only takes one look to realize the man standing next to her bestie is also the one who broke her heart.
Do you try and reconcile or do you exact revenge? Which will make you feel better?
It's a cute story and slightly indicating for those of us under the talons of Stepford b!tches growing up. That speech was awesome.
Robbed
is the debut novel of CL Sayers, one romantic story about second chances, true love, true friendship and becoming a better person. I loved CL’s writing, it’s well paced, fluent and very descriptive. Her development of the storyline and characters was awesome and she delivered a beautiful story with an even more beautiful ending.
Robbed
is the story of Livvy, a young woman who rose above. She was reborn from the ashes like the Phoenix, and she did it flawlessly. After being bullied during high school for five long years, she moved away and started over. She reinvented herself, changed names, got the best friend a person could have and fell in love with a rugby player who loved her back, respected her and made her happy.
Sadly, just like she lost the first love of her life when she was sixteen, she lost it again at the age of twentysix after the death of her boyfriend in deadly car accident. She was heartbroken, devastated, and she close herself off. She protected her life, her heart and everything around her, but by living safely, she wasn’t enjoying her life, at all.
One night she was out with her friends and she found face to face with her lost love, Fintan Kelly, but he didn’t recognize her—
after all, she has changed so much in twelve years.
This surprise reunion was not taken very well by Livvy, she had a little breakdown because Fin represented all the good and the bad things from high school, he used to be her guardian angel until he wasn’t anymore and she was left all alone. So, one of her friends had the great idea of take advantage of Fin not recognizing Livvy to get back at him and do exactly what he did to her: Make him fall in love with her and then kick him in the balls!
And this is how this romantic, sexy and beautiful story started. But things didn’t happened as Livvy planned them, because she ended up falling in love with him, even harder than when she was a teenager, because Fin was the most perfect, caring and awesome guy in the world. But… There was that little thing about her that he doesn’t know… So she was screwed.
You’ll have to read this book to find out how their story ends. I assure you’ll love it as much as I did. There was a particular chapter I re-read about five times, because I was so devastated, I couldn’t understand what was happening, so I needed to understand, and also because I loved Livvy’s strength in that chapter. The moment she started spending time with Fin, she got a little back of Elizabeth, but she also understood the awesomeness in the new person she created when she became Livvy, and she showed it all to Fin in that chapter. I am sure if I was a character in the book, I would have applauded her for her words, make an ovation to her because that moment was decisive in her life, for her as a person, as a powerful woman and most of all, as the person who deserves to beloved and respected.
The last thing I have left to say is THANK YOU, CL SAYERS! For writing such amazing book, with not only a new book boyfriend for me, but also a book girlfriend. I can relate with her in so many levels, and I love her for the decisions she made, especially in the end.
If you've ever been bullied then this book will strike such a chord with you, it will bring memories back giving you all those feelings again. Elizabeth spent a lot of her life feeling inferior, insecure and scared but her best friend Fin was the one person that helped her get through it until he doesn't he becomes part of the pain. I don't if the author has had experience of being bullied but she managed to convey all the feelings of despair and self loathing. My heart broke for her, I just wanted to give her a hug and show her some compassion. Years later she's a different woman, she's now Lizzie a successful author she's confident and has good friends. She meets Fin again but he doesn't recognise her and the opportunity for revenge is too hard to resist. Will she go through with her plans? What will happen when Fin discovers her secrets?
This is the story of Olivia who is rebuilding her life after the death of her fiance. She meets up with a boy from her past that was her best friend and protected her from bullies and then wasn't. He doesn't remember her because she's lost some weight and she decides to get her revenge. This was a cute very short story. There were some holes ie once the plan is concocted by her and her friends it isnt really mentioned too much. Also his mom is an alcoholic and he spends the week or so that he is mad at her at the bottom of a whiskey bottle which should probably be setting off some alarms but all in all enjoyable. 3.5 to 4 stars.
I really liked this book! I loved Mark not guna lie. I know your supposed to love the main guy but meh. I loved Fin he's all romantic and a gentleman but Mark made me laugh. He's totally the guy to be friends with!! Over all though I really enjoyed Fin and Livys story!
This was the first book from C. L. Sayer for me. I found it to be very good. Great story line and interesting characters. I completely enjoyed it and would recommend Robbed if you are looking for a book with a bit of humor, some drama and hot sex.
I really enjoyed this story. I don't like bullies one bit and to read this story about someone who has had to put up with years of being bullied was so emotional. The author had the words to show just how much being bullied can affect someone, not only whilst it is happening but for years after. A really good read that I would definitely recommend.
OH MY GOODNESS THIS AUTHOR IS AMAZING. FOR A DEBUT BOOK THIS BOOK HAD EVERYTHING HUMOUR,DRAMA AND MORE. I HAVE TO SAY I REALLY ENJOYED IT. BOTH CHARACTERS FACED ISSUES AND FOUGHT THERE WAY THROUGH LIFE. CAN'T WAIT TO READ MORE FROM THIS AUTHOR.
Robbed is C.L. Sayers debut book. It was quite an impressive debut. This is second chance romance definitely hits you on an emotional level. It grabbed my attention from the very beginning. My heart ached for Livvy. I honestly couldn't imagine having to endure that kind of abuse from fellow classmates. C.L. Sayers definitely takes you on an emotional journey. From a bullied teen, all the way up to the successful and confident woman that Livvy becomes.
I especially loved the easy Fintan and Livvy's relationship slowly builds. It shows that each of them have emotional bridges that need to be built and then crossed, all at the same time. Fintan broke Livvy's heart so dramatically all those years ago and initially she has a hard time letting him in because of it. It took her a long time, with the support of great friends to get to where she is today.
It's hard to believe what started out as seeking revenge and retribution could turn into quite the opposite. I love Fin and Livvy together, he was amazing. In many ways he helped boost her self confidence to new heights. And any man that can do that is a hero in my eyes.
The other thing that had my motor running while reading this book, was just imagining Fin's accent!! I seriously love me an Irish accent!
There were a couple of things that I did wonder about though. Foe example, considering what her initial motives were, seeking revenge, I would have like to see a bit more of angst in that regard. Possibly a little more cat and mouse?!
The other thing I was a little disappointed with, was that we don't get to see Fiona get what was coming to her! I honestly would have LOVED to have seen that!
I really enjoyed this debut book of C.L. Sayers and I can't wait to read more of her work... especially if I get to imagine a man with a velvety Irish accent!

Robbed is the debut novel from CL Sayers and is a second chance love story, which is one of my favorite tropes. This was a little different as our hero didn’t recognize our heroine initially, so it was almost more of a second chance revenge/love story. The pace of the book flowed well and overall it was a quick read. There are some heavy moments here-dealing with bullying, parental manipulations and substance abuse. But there are also sexy moments to relieve some of the tension, and some sweet moments that made me smile. I did find it a bit confusing a first that our heroine has several different names, but once I figured out which name was associated with which part of her life I was fine. My heart broke for the bullying that Olivia (then Lizzy) endured in high school and I cheered for her chance at getting some slight revenge with her former best friend, Fin, but I didn’t think it’d go as far as it did without him realizing who she was. Fin was fun and sweet. He had his own baggage, but when he was trying to woo Olivia I felt just as wooed as she did. I did want to slap him at one point, but even he acknowledges he had it coming. I liked the concept of the book, I liked the flow. There were a couple of things that felt glossed over to me but overall I liked the book as a whole. I would enjoy seeing a continuation of this book with the secondary characters taking a starring role-Olivia’s friends were definitely a fun part of the book.
Robbed is the debut book from author CL Sayers but it doesn’t feel like that. The writing is captivating from the beginning and pulls you straight in…
Livvy is a university professor and has changed a lot since the hell she suffered in high school. Her only friend was Finn, the boy who had her heart and the boy who turned his back on her overnight. Finn is back in Dublin as a journalist and photographer, who attends a party where he meets Livvy.
This storyline is the well known concept of a second chance romance, but it is still fresh in its writing. Especially the flash back scenes are so fantastic that you actually feel the pain she goes through. This is a very great start to a writing career, but I have to say, I wasn’t a fan of the abrupt ending. I felt like the storyline was a little incomplete at that point. I would have liked to see a more well rounded ending, but when it is taken into consideration that it is a debut book, I will rate this book a solid 3.5 stars since there is still room for some improvement…
This is the authors debut book and it totally delivered.
This book is a second chance love story that is full of some real life issues we all deal with. Yes there are some parts that of the story that hit me hard as I could relate to them with Livvy.
There are fun and loving parts that had my cherries popping.
This was a fast read and a great book to read if you are looking for a good emotional book with angsty humor.

What a fantastic debut book! I cannot believe this is the author's first book, I was so impressed with not only the writing but also the humour and emotional aspect of the story.
I was hooked from the prologue and could not put the book down until I had finished it. I adore Livvy and her attitude, and her approach to life. Her BBFs are hilarious too and remind me of some people I know.
I hope this book becomes a series and we hear more from the group.
Well written with fleshed out characters. Could use a bit more editing but overall an enjoyable story.
I can't believe that this is a debut book! The author wrote a story that was rounded in regards to the storyline so no unanswered questions were to be found on these pages.
If you're looking for something fresh this should be your pick!
Wow great debut book from the lovely CL Sayers!!! If this is what you write for your debut then I'm sticking around to see what you bring us next!!!! Great story full of fun angst & love! Livvy & Fin were destined to be together and managed to fight through to stay that way!
An amazing read by this first time author. Lizzy (aka..Livvy..Olivia..Elizabeth) and Fin were a breathe of fresh air. Love this book. Made a perfect rainy day read. I can't wait for more books from CL Sayers.
I thoroughly enjoyed this debut novel from author C.L. Sayers. It was the perfect mix of sweet and sassy, and angst.
I think most of us have been bullied at some point in our lives especially over body issues, and it was easy for me to form a connection with Olivia. And I totally understand the need for revenge and probably would've planned something similar. But sometimes Fate has a different plan for us and mixes things up.
If you're looking for a fun and fresh novel with a side of angst, Robbed is your story.
I really enjoyed this book. I'm always a bit hesitant on debut authors. I'm so glad I took the chance. I loved Olivia's character. It was angsty and hot. There's alot of good revenge type things that go on. Poor Livvy was bullied by Finn.
It was a fast read and hooked me from the beginning. Definitely 1 click this one.
CL Sayers with her writing was able to catch my attention since the beginning and page after page I grew attached to these characters and their journey. I'd say though aside from the love story which to me came second , it is also about survival and finding yourself. That’s why I loved this story’s message. I love how C.L Sayers told a story about a real girl and her struggles with her self-image when she was a teen.
“It felt good to not be the girl that was nicknamed ‘beached whale’ anymore."
“When you’re ridiculed for years for being plus-sized (read “fat bitch”) you tend to get a bit sensitive about what you eat."
Livvy is no longer the same girl than 12 years ago- She has a job that she loves, a social life but essentially the two best friends that anyone can wish for. Josie and Mark play a great role in Livvy’s life but what I thoroughly enjoyed is the bond and laughters between them. I could easily relate to them. Their banter had me Laughing out Loud on more than one occasions. Fin reappeared in Livvy’s life and nothing prepared her for that. She plot revenge with J&M but will Livvy see it through or will it be “ fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me”?
I hope that Josie and Mark will get their stories. Fantastic debut, I can’t wait to read what CL Sayers has next for us.
“If our eyes are the windows to our souls, then a photograph taken at the exact, precise, perfect moment, allows that soul to be preserved forever.”
Wow this is the first book my this author and I'm hoping it want be the last , I'm sure we've all been in livvy situation and I was reading this with tears in my eyes willing it to end well , I love the way the story unfold between livvy and Fin , I can't wait to read more book in the future.
