Safe Haven – A Billionaire Romance
Fate, Love, Passion, Lust

Escaping with her son from an abusive relationship, Maddy is looking to start a normal life in New York City. It seems like fate when she reunites with a childhood friend, Joshua, who happens to be one of the city's wealthiest. Josh sweeps Maddy off her feet, accepting her son Gio as his own. BUT their fairytale is soon jeopardized when Maddy's ex, with ties deep in a mafia, fully intends to bring her and his son back. Risking who he loves most, Josh will stop at nothing to take Giovanni down.

Finding Him: Maddy had just moved to New York City with her son, Gio, escaping from their life in Chicago to start over. She was okay with starting small if it meant she and Gio could live their lives free of his father. Then one day while at the park Maddy finds herself running into, literally, an old childhood friend. Josh had definitely grown up, what’s more he still seemed like the same ten-year-old boy she used to know and love. Believing it was fate that brought them back together, Josh spends almost every spare moment with Maddy and Gio, who he was quickly seeing as his own son. Neither Josh nor Maddy could have imagined they’d fall in love so quickly, but even after so many years it’s like they hadn’t missed a step. Until Maddy’s past comes back to haunt her. She wanted to get away from her ex, but could she really?

Keeping Her Safe: After Maddy’s unexpected visit by Giovanni’s men, Josh finds her shaken up and scared at her apartment. Joshua takes over, moving her and Gio into his penthouse and hiring security to keep them safe when he’s not around. Things are tense as Gio is having a hard time knowing his dad is trying to come for him and his mom. Joshua is doing all he can to make them feel secure and protected. When his security team finds a lead on Giovanni in Chicago Joshua is more than ready to confront him. But as prepared as he thought he was, Joshua wasn’t ready for meeting Giovanni face to face.

Blindsided: Coming back from his unprecedented confrontation with Giovanni Josh is feeling a whole new level of vengeance for the man. Meanwhile Maddy is horrified at what she’s brought into Josh’s life. If it weren’t for her he would have never made the stupid decision to go to Chicago. She makes him promise to leave finding Giovanni to the police, and for a while it seems like things are back on track. Josh gets back to his old self and he’s better than ever with Gio and less distracted with Maddy. Even though she has one big distraction of her own, she feels she and Josh are closer than ever. Until she finds out what he’s been hiding from her, and his broken promise leaves her devastated. But it only drives her and Gio right into the hands of danger.

At Last: Stakes are high when Josh realizes Maddy and Gio are gone. They go through the roof when he learns what Maddy has yet to tell him. Trying not to let his emotions get the best of him, Josh and his team find and go after Giovanni. It’s life or death when Josh finally confronts him and in the end he comes too close to losing what he loves most. In the days following their ordeal Maddy is trying to heal and move on from everything Giovanni brought into her life. Josh has only one more loose end to take care of before he can finally do what he’s wanted to since he was ten years old. He won’t ask Maddy to marry him until he knows for sure that they have the mafia off their backs.

A really good read

I thought the story line as a whole was well written and fast paced. No unnecessary dialogue. I did which for a little more action scenes . I love romantic suspense
