Wow, I'm glad i didn't miss out on this one.
I'll admit, I've passed this one by a few times. I read the blurb...Derek being gangbanged from the start? Um, no thank you. But somehow this fic worked for me.
Is it my favorite, no.
Is it perfect? no (ex. Time zones)
But it's pretty darn good...especially considering the topic of the start of the book.
I picked up this fic for a challenge. I was expecting pure porn. But this isn't just porn. There are feelings, and story. And don't worry, it's not GB after GB.
Okay, so Derek's issues don't make 100% sense, but then again, irrational phobias don't make sense. But tell that to someone who goes into a complete panic attack when crossing over a bridge. It's real to them. So who's to say that Derek can't feel the way he feels?
The story picks up very quickly after the bath-house scene. I was hooked very quickly.
It's not insta-love. They actually work on communication. Stiles is understanding to Derek's baggage. He works around it, but also doesn't take advantage.
I loved when Stiles stalked Derek's class, and asked questions. Yep, Derek is a college professor.
There's some humor, there's some heart breaking pain. There's some sweetness. There is some boundary pushing sex scenes.
There is no cheating. All sex is consensual.
If you really can't handle the GB scenes, don't read this. If you can't handle fisting...don't read this.
But if you can. It's worth the read.
If I had gone in, expecting a love story, I would probably leave this as 4 stars. But I went in expecting porn. Dirty filthy porn. I got some of that too....but I was blown away by actually getting a love story. So because of that, I'm bumping it up a star. Because I can.

This is weird..
To be perfectly honest I'm not a big fan of a bottoming Derek/ topping Stiles scenario. This one especially... gangbang that turns into a relationship but still has gangbangs.. Not to mention that Derek has huge orgasm issues.
So... interesting.. but unavoidably weird.

I think this will not be everyone's cup of tea. If you expect the usual sterek fluff you'll be disappointed. Derek is not physically monogamous, he has this need for gb's, but it's all consensual. That sounds really weird, omg, just read it!

I don't read many fanfics but I quite enjoyed this one. I did not have to know much about the world of Teen Wolf to understand this story and I loved that part. The way Derek and Stiles came together in the end was huge for them.
